Resources for finding medical articles about uveitis
Glenn's Rheumatology Readiong Corner is a great resource for reviewed articles of interest to parents. Check them out at this link. Glenn (Demi's dad) has combed the medical literature to find these references for you.
Autoimmune Uveitis and its Treatment is a page on the website that has links to various topics in the medical literature. For example, if you wanted to know more about the approaches to treating autoimmune uveitis in children, you would click on the link above and select one of these topics: 1) Introduction to Ocular Autoimmune Disease, 2) Treatment of Ocular Inflammation in Children. You can also go to this page to look up specific medications and what has been learned about thier effectiveness in treating uveitis.
By using the links on the page, you get a list of articles, their title and authors, along with a summary of each article. Most articles are about studies that have been done.
