Reynard S2000 === NEW REDUCED PRICE
NEW*NEW*NEW*NEW*NEW PRICE!! ENGINE (AND PARTS) INCLUDED!
Same car listed before with an COMPLETE ENGINE (Not installed and spare parts) included in the price, lowered (by 3k!!!) to $16k or best offer/trade(What do you have?). This thing has to go, I am not
interested in running it. I want to go Formula Ford racing with a newer car.
I purchased a Reynard S2 a short time ago. Since then I have become addicted to Formula Racing, and lost interest in the car. I am looking to trade it for an FC car, a newer FF, or a kick butt club ford, and/or cash.
The car is a 1993 Chassis #1. (Chassis plate is on the car) It actually is a 1990 with all the updates to make it a 1993. I have the orig. sales information, brochures, and chassis plates. This car was built by Fulmar Reynard (one of five, a car that can only increase in value) using Formula Car technology, and an ultra light alum monocock. The car was held by Fulmar
Reynard until an importer was selected in the United States. (I have TONS OF PAPERWORK ON THIS CAR, INCLUDED A DOCUMENTED 1:14 or lower at Blackhawk)(I believe 3rd place in a national)
While in England, an example of this car (prototype) placed second in the 1989 sports 2000 championship with a ROOKIE at the wheel. Some of the new technology in this car includes a tub divider, a ultra aero body (compared to stock S2's), and etc. This car has an OUTSTANDING aero package from the factory. The body is shaped like a modern LeMans style car with a drooping tail in the rear and a roll bar cover.
The first owner in the US was the importer. He only raced it a few times, and due to lack of demand he decided to pursue other interests.
The car is currently a roller. I do however have a rebuilt motor complete (drysump, clutch, intake INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE CAR. (Extra parts could be included for additional funds - 2 heads, one block, pistons, intakes, valve covers, and more! FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS)
Spare body work includes: a nose, a tail, and a sidepod for each side (All painted except nose). There are 2 sets of Techno's included. One set is new and never had tires mounted. One set is on the car with older Goodyear rains, (Included is another set of rains).
The trans is a magnesium Reynard gearbox. (Annular slave) The ring and pinion are in excellent condition. All other trans parts are in excellent condition. The fire system is a mechanical pull. It may need to be freshened. It is in excellent condition.
This car is VERY LIGHT! It weighs less than 800 lbs!!!! (Without engine and body). The car is unaltered. It is 100% orig. No odd modifications, or alterations made ever. (I was in the process of making some design changes, but they have not been started)
The body has fresh black paint (has been sitting awhile, but no races on paint). The body is a fiberglass kevlar mix, and is very light for a full body S2. The tub is in excellent condition. The suspension has been taken apart, crack checked, and freshly painted. The car has new LD65 calipers in front. LD 20 calipers in rear. All the seals are in good condition (Just checked) They do need to be bled. The rad has been flow checked and is in new type condition. The Reynard exhaust is in good condition, but could use a coat of paint (or get hotcoated). The shocks are KONI. All hardware on the car is in great condition.
Racetech instruments. Jumper plug. I will throw in a set of gears also and ANY SPARE PARTS IN MY INVENTORY THAT WILL WORK WITH THIS CAR.
Yes, the car is rare, but all the parts are available due to the crossover from formula car technology. All panels, body parts, and etc, are available from Fulmar Reynard. Suspension is VERY similar to Reynard FC and FF cars, if not identical.

I quoted the weight of the car as 800lbs with out the body and engine. It actually weighs 800lbs WITH the body and WITHOUT the engine. This includes all the components such as trans, wheels, rain tires, body, chassis and etc. - No motor) I can provide weights for most of the major components if requested. (Including each body component)
