Other Physical Details:
Tall and somewhat imposing, Riley’s genetically perfected physical features aren’t the friendliest sight you’d desire to see in the dark ally, but rest assured the well built attractive young man is noble and heroic at heart. He has a naïve desire to please and it has gotten him in trouble before, however the charming smile and keen attentive looks still linger in his expressions. In the recent months he has appeared down and withdrawn, miserably waiting for his girlfriend to return from wherever she had run off to. Since her return from Washington his attitude and appearance has picked up, the closer they are the brighter the glow of life around him. You can judge how their relationship is going by the look of exuberance that radiates off him.
At times he may appear detached and preoccupied, wearing features which give the false impression that he isn’t interested in what is happening around him regarding other people. In general the young man tries to keep a tight lid on his emotions, which had been numbed intentionally by the initiative, and so now there is more chances of catching Riley going through slightly random emotional outbursts, be them loud and flashy or grouchy and silent while suffering from his relatively untamed mood swings.

Personality:
He's been described as a little peculiar, he's loyal, but it's hard to get his trust, and when out with normal everyday people he seems to fit in easily enough. He may seem to trust you right away, and if someone is in trouble he would go out of his way to help them, even if he didn't really like them.
Riley is as sweet and affable as they come, but can also take charge and hold his own in a fight, due to his Initiative training.
However, with all the re-programming they have done to him recently, Riley's having a hard time controlling some rather instinctive responses to situations. Lashing out and disabling something or something he considers a threat before really thinking it over. This is probably the closest to a 'bad temper' Riley has, which doesn’t mean he doesn’t get upset, just doesn’t often lose control or become aggressive, but if his opponent fights back, Riley finds it hard to stop fighting until either he or his attacker are pinned to the ground or knocked down.
He's hoping over time he'll grow out of this, but while in this state of mind, if a friend (Someone he respects) orders him to stop, like a perfect Soldier, Riley obeys without question.
Likes:
He likes to take long drives, and likes cheese, helping out and keeping his promises, horse riding and watching his friends having a good time. He also enjoys studying, but only if he has an interest in the subject. He is in love with Catherine Hall so any time with her is time well spent in his mind.
Dislikes:
Being forced to dance (he can't dance) unless it’s just standing out there holding onto Catherine, being forced to lie to friends over his occupation... the Initiative in general. People hating him, when everyone’s being mean to someone or someone's being rude or mean to someone he cares about or feels sorry for. When Cat doesn't take care of herself or when someone hurts or threatens her.
Powers and/or Skills:
Gravity Manipulation:
Riley can now change gravity intensity, able to preform a few stunts with his newly achieved ability:
Changing gravity direction:
Changing gravity direction, not something done easily but Riley can manipulate the gravity of an area no larger then 15 meters with extreme effort at this point, currently limited to about five while without much training on its handling. Able to reduce the gravity or increase it, Riley can reverse the flow of gravity’s pull within the area enabling someone (or thing) to be pulled upwards at a speed depending on the strength of the pull. So in other words Riley could also use his ability in Creating artificial gravity where there is none.
Levitation and Stationary:
Of course if he can effect the gravity of those around him then he can also effect his own person, thus increasing his weight, making himself incredibly light and able to propel himself or ‘float’ though of course he’d have little control once he was moving other then making himself heavier or lighter. The opposite of this effect is making himself heavy, granted at a certain point he could harm himself terribly if his body is put under too much pressure, but if he was careful it could help him stay put when confronted with something such as, example; a powerful wind. Or if he had someone trying to pick him up, it’d be hard if they could not bare the added weight of gravities more powerful pull on Riley’s body.
Incapacitating a foe by increasing his weight:
Just as Riley can effect his own weight, he can effect others, making a person unable to move under the high gravity pull which pins them to the ground or lifts them up. Anything within five meters is much easier managed and especially when the gravity is focused on the whole area of the five meters and not focused solely on a single object/person. When someone or something is in contact with Riley (eg. He’s holding something or someone) then it’s far easier for him to handle the gravity manipulation since he is isn’t changing much more then the short area about his own body. Every meter adds that much more stress to his abilities.
Military Training:
Able to fight with a high level of skill, has extensive knowledge of weaponry usage and operating, knows how to organise, operate and handle co-ops and team or solo missions.
High Security Access:
The Initiative has high access to more secret files then even the FBI, CIA or President himself, if a secret file is needed, chances are high that Riley can get hold of the file. This also means he can access secret locations by using contacts he knows.
Security Implants:
The one located in his head stops mutants from entering into his mind and reading his thoughts, it also prevents him from harming other operative of the initiative and is used as a tracking device to locate his whereabouts. The chip had began to degrade at the age of 21, it had been giving him electro-shocks, the pain varied and it could have happened at any time. He was told any attempt to remove the chip could be fatal, this isn't exactly true. He has since had it removed and now has a new and improved implant that should last, however this one probably is fatal to be removed.
Increased Stamina & Strength:
Due to genetic advancements made to his body, Riley will not lose all his strength, he will still be above that of the average athlete, but no where near the impressive strength he used to have. His pain his no longer ‘numbed’ by the addition of the drugs anaesthetizing his senses but he stills bares a somewhat greater resistance to pain, slightly due to the genetic modifications but mostly just having gained a tougher pain barrier over the years.
Languages:
Highly focused on the ancient societies, Riley has a good grasp on all known and not so widely known tongues from the old world. Riley’s eager to learn all the present day tongues and is doing very well in learning them but has sever weaknesses in Arabic, Hebrew, Aboriginal and African. Current strengths are Japanese, Latin, Chinese, German, French, and of course his native tongue being English. Riley has a very good grasp on languages used commonly by demons, the three most common tongues are decently mastered and he has a grasp on a few other cultures, both human and inhuman but not in any great depths, just enough to get his point across and express himself to some extent.
(The Heart implant has been removed, so he has lost these abilities
The chip in his chest pumped a drug that kept his body fit and healthy, no matter what he ate and how little he trained. The drug also increased his strength and stamina above that of normal people, also numbing the pain his body felt unless he was suffering from withdraws from a drug or faulty implant. It also degraded any drugs in his system and cleared up alcohol much faster. The angrier he got, the more amount of drug was pumped into his systems, so the angrier he was, the stronger he had gotten.
History:
Riley Finn was born and raised in Huxley, a small farm town in Iowa. Not a whole lot was known about his history at first, but he was a Psychology graduate student at Mass. Academy, a teacher's assistant and is Special Agent 75329 in the Initiative, a mysterious military operation which captures and experiments on demons.
The Initiative mainly recruited students from Academies, the younger the better as it would mean more time for them to be brain washed, trained and turned into the perfect soldiers.
In his first year at the Academy he was asked to join the Initiative, his Psych Professor, Maggie Walsh, was infact an Agent for the secret military group. While working under her command he also became an assistant teacher to her, and that's where he met Claire, she was a student in one of his classes, though at first they where just friends. He spent a lot of time helping her study, personality wise, Claire had little compatibility with Riley, she was also very selfish and tended to use him a lot, whether it was for his money, with her school work or getting a place away from her family.
Shortly after Riley joined the Initiative he was informed both parents had to be told he had died, for Riley this was something that was devastating to say the least. He loved his parents and they where the only people he truly trusted, they where always there for him. He requested to spend 2 weeks with them but he was only given 7 days, he had more important missions to deal with they had informed him. 7 days didn't seem so long when you knew you'd never be able to see your family again. He spent a lot of time helping around with chores his older parents might not have been able to handle as easily. They where told Riley was killed on his trip back from Iowa, his car collided into a bus on one of the dangerous roads. He never liked to speak of his forgotten family, often wishing that he could sneak up to Iowa and secretly meet with them, but he knew that would put their lives in danger.
It seemed Claire was there to help guide him threw his morning, since he told her that his parents had died, over time they grew closer, at least Riley liked to think so and shortly after Graduation they moved into an apartment together. Riley wanted something small, but close to the base, he didn't really care where he lived as long as it was comfortable enough and he had someone who he thought really liked him. It was hard for Riley to understand Claire, she wanted an apartment in New York, large and fancy, lots of room and yet only one bed room. He had been very unsure about that, but she really keen on it, he spent the first few weeks on the couch since he was very shy and uncomfortable about sharing a bed with her. However the distance seemed only to annoy Claire so he politely agreed to sleep beside her, although they never really discussed or called each other boyfriend/girlfriend (Riley always addressed her as Claire and the same with Claire only calling Riley by his name, the few occasions she used the term boyfriend she was usually asking for something), Riley assumed they since she wanted to spend so much time with him, live with him and sleep with him (Though Riley never allowed anything to happen since they where not married and he considered himself too young to go too far in a relationship). Riley was often hurt when she'd go out to parties and sometimes spend the night over at friends places, he knew she has been with other men before and that only made him more uncomfortable around her.
For a year Claire respected Riley's comings and goings, after all, he always said he was on business, and she believed him, new grad student trying hard to make his presence known in the world. Only when ever she asked him where he went, he'd always seem to come up with a vague answer at the best of times, other times he'd just shrug and say no where special. After confronting Riley, he decided since it seemed they where ready to start a meaningful relationship, she had promised to stop going to so many bars and he had promised to try and show her more affection instead of awkwardness, so she deserved to know the truth, and he told her, much to his regret now. She was more furious that he had lied to her for so long then about the fact he was a military agent. Her anger faded into distrust, whenever he said something she'd always ask if that was the truth, and after a few months of this, she finally gave him a choice, her or the agency, maybe part of her wanted him to choose the agency, but another part selfishly had wanted to keep him, he was after all the reason she was living so well.
He ended up fleeing from the secret underground force so he could devote himself to her, proving that he was ready to start a normal life, however it was discovered he has chips implanted in his body, one in his chest and one in his head. The one in his head would go off every time he tried to fight any of the Initiative soldiers that came after him, and they always seemed to find him. Claire blamed Riley for her life being thrown upside down, which she wasn't wrong in doing so, they where always running from Soldiers and where caught in gun fire on a few separate occasions.
It got to a point where he felt like a burden to her, Riley felt he was unimportant something she could do without, and she agreed, telling him she was leaving and that he wasn't allowed to follow her. The cruel words hurt him, and although part of him knew she didn't really love him, the fact she had wanted him at all had been something he needed to feel... everyone wants to feel loved and wanted some times. After being abandoned, he didn't see the point in fleeing any more, he didn't want to spend his life running when there was no direction for him to run to.. what was the point, where would he go and what would he do?
He decided to rejoin the military, waiting in the very spot she left him until they arrived for him, although at first he wasn't really welcomed, he fought hard and trained harder, regaining his former rank and soon moving up to become a trusted soldier, or so he thought. Unknown to him they where drugging him, increasing his dosage upon his return, keeping him under tight security even though they let him think he had returned and rejoined without much fuss.
The Initiative has placed him in the school to keep an eye on the mutants and make sure Xavier isn't trying to gather a super powered army of mutants. Actually, in truth it wasn’t the Initiative itself, but an official in the Government who had managed to gather rumours of a school specifically designed for mutants. The idea of the school sounded fair enough, but the possibilities that one with such a collection of powered ‘freaks’ would abuse their powers was too great. When Riley had been coincidently picked up by Connor Enright, Angela Hughes and a few other students returning to the school from a night out at the movies, the official decided to take the opportunity offered to him.
Riley arrived on March 20th, 2022 and had realized Xavier is only trying to give these people a home, and even though Riley was guilty about having to lie to everyone, he had started to settle in, finding himself thriving in the new environment. The thing he dreaded most was the day the Initiative would pull him out for another assignment, but until that happened the secret agent fell deeper within the coils of the schools activity. August of 2022 Riley had been introduced to the X-men, and placed onto a team called X-treme, with Connor as the team leader, something which had helped push Riley’s relationship with Connor further as they two were forced to bear not only a secret together but each others lives as both of them trained hard as part of the new generation of X-men.
During time on the team, Riley also sort of befriended Anna Drake, a tempered young woman who literally gave everyone the cold shoulder. Since Connor was the leader, Frostbite made it extremely difficult for the newly appointed team leader, but wasn’t so hard on the others (which didn’t mean a great deal of differences when you take her cold personality into account). Riley took a joke without getting all huffy, and he didn’t whine, one of the things Anna hated with a passion was whiners (unless she was the one doing the whining, but then it was for a reason – to annoy!). One of the small handful of people Anna is comfortable enough around is Riley, Connor bossed her around and more importantly is the sister of the one girl who manages to boil the icy cold blood in Frostbites veins. Of course, what helped Riley most was actually when Frostbite gave him a slight freeze burn during training and be barely flinched, ironically her hurting him had helped eased the barriers she had up when he assured her he was alright.
But the person to really change Riley’s life didn’t cross the trouble soldier’s path until a beautiful Catherine Hall came storming up the stairs of the institute, voice blaring and tongue snapping while unknowingly to her the entire front hall had been packed with patiently waiting students. Being pretty was an understatement and even with all those drugs swimming through Riley’s veins, Finn felt amused and – knowing about her troubled youth – keen on helping her fit in. In Riley’s eyes the school was amazing, it offered shelter and comforts, home and security, it gave them friends and family all at once. It was devastating when Catherine and some others, including Dawn who was one of his friends, all later that morning got pulled into a vortex to another reality.
After disobeying orders and leading a rescue team to the other dimension now known as Lost Angels, upon his return, Riley was captured and marked once again as a Rogue agent. He went going through extensive re-programming, though the various drugs in his system are causing slight problems with not just his health, but with the effects of the drugs they are giving him. Eventually they took him to recapture Spike, the other worldly vampire from Lost Angels, Catherine Hall was accidentally caught up in the mission and Joan had ordered her to be captured as well.
Catherine managed to help Riley remember who he was shortly after they wiped his memory, both began to explore their relationship, however it was very short lived since the following day Riley's implant played up worse then usual. Joan gave Catherine an off of letting Riley go with her, though he'd die within the year, or have him stay, they wipe his memory, and change his chip so he lives a long productive life as one of their agents. Although Catherine had decided to have Riley stay and live out his life in the initiative, Riley's friends later helped Catherine rescue Riley and then helped her and Finn escape the secret military compound.
Now Riley has to try and get used to life back at the school, since he can't remember anything he is finding everything very difficult. He wants to try and put on a brave face, but he is doing a very good job, it'll take a bit before he can settle down comfortably. As long as he has his friends he can make it through this hard time, luckily he has someone who is trying very hard to help him get used to his new life. However, he didn't have Catherine's support for more then a day, the following night upon his return, she fled the school in order to get some time to think about things, leaving Riley to fall into a serious state of depression due to her absence. He is angry she lied to him, but he is more hurt that she left without talking to him.
During his time waiting for Catherine to return, Riley explored a more artistic and musical side of life, studying different courses and slacking his other courses, falling far behind until the teachers hounded him more to get his overdue work put in. All the old classes he took had been dropped after the first three months since he got stressed with being hassled for not completing any of his homework. In all that time Riley only received one letter from Catherine, months later, saying she was alright. Riley didn’t really think too much about anything, but rushed to create a false identity as a police officer being transferred to Washington DC. Without knowing where to find Catherine, Riley had spent a short time just going day by day playing cop, avoiding the ever threatening Initiative agents who shadowed him despite Finn’s best efforts to lose them.
After finding Catherine, Riley had tailed her for a small period to make sure it was safe before showing himself, when he was greeted with pleasure Riley’s devotion to her grew quickly once again. When Catherine decided to return to the school, Riley had sent her ahead, making his own way back by train later so that his lover wouldn’t get caught up with the Initiative again.
It turned out all the precaution was in vain because later the Initiative found them anyway, taking away Catherine’s sight, hearing and voice, cursing her nightmares to come true, one of them being that Marc returned. Everyone has a darker half of themselves, and for riley, Marc is that darker half, the callous, selfish city boy that wants what he wants and will do what he must to get it. Unlike Riley, there are no limits to what Marc will do, lie, cheat, steal, as long as he gets it done and rewarded for it in the end. But still a part of Riley remains, since in a sense it is Riley, just a more callous and selfish version, and when Marc realized Catherine was pregnant with his child, he set about trying to find a way to reverse what was done to them, although with more selfish reasons then fixing what was wrong.
Although Max and Paige managed to follow Riley and Cat, it didn’t help when all four of them where captured by the waiting team of soldiers in the cave they had journeyed to. Before Spike and Garnet could rescue the four kidnapped X-men-to-be’s, Riley had been drugged and partially sedated and Catherine had been taken by her old friend, Jon, who forced himself on her with his newly found strength, which he hadn’t yet managed to learn to handle, bruising her wrists terribly. Riley has very little recollection of the entire event, from the night before her dreams turned her to mark to the day after her rape when he was still recovering from the heavy doses of drugs.
As time passed Riley was reminded of their unborn child and was naturally excited and overjoyed, asking curious questions to Catherine who would snap back or push and hide far behind her barriers. Soon enough Riley relented, his memories too fragmented to really understand what she was so angry about, and not understanding a lot of what she was doing through, mainly because she didn’t open up to him. One of their friends, Angela Hughes, decided to take the two to Iowa, allow Riley to meet the parents he told everyone was dead, and at the time Riley not fully understanding the extreme dangers that really put his family in. The time with Catherine was unbalanced and hectic at best, swinging one way to the other with little warning. Both youngsters trying to deal with their issues, both personal pains and their relationship issues, and as usual it seems, when things finally started looking up for them, a Cyborg agent of the Initiative tracked them down, and with Cat in the line of fire, shot the pregnant teen hovering over Riley who had crumbled to the ground in pain as his implant activated.
The attack made them lose the baby, something that has completely torn Riley apart, but he doesn’t speak of it at all and it lurks deep in the back of his mind. Constantly blaming himself and falling apart at the seems, the former agent’s health spiralled and recently he had suffered a heart attack due to the continuous stress put onto both his mind and body. Beast is working on a way of removing the heart implant from Riley, and has informed the ex-demon hunter that he does indeed possess the x-gene, despite what the Initiative told him and what he had previously believed. Riley has for the first time openly admitted (although somewhat unintentionally) that he was an agent sent to check out the school. At this point, Finn must learn to accept who he is, who he was, and to try and deal with things in a better way then he has, that of course will take time and effort on other peoples parts as well as his own, but Beast is proving to be someone who genially appears to want to help Riley – something Finn isn’t all too used to.
In an effort to get the rogue agent under wraps, the Initiative have let leak information and false allergations towards verious activities Riley had been part of. Pinning him for a number of murders that, although commited had been done under orders as the targets were known "hostiles", a name used by the Initiative towards dangerous demons. Riley's aware that the Initiative would have likely pinned something on his alter-ego, however as of yet has no idea what they've allowed to circulate the network.

-: Class Roll For For the Reading & Writing Course :-
Arlen Sachiel- Merman Prince
Bei Bei Woo (Chinese Student)- Able to spin a thin silky thread from the tips of her fingers, it isn’t sticky like a spiders web, but if she weaves it properly she can make it strong enough to hold things. The heavier they are, the more ‘web’ like thread she will need to weave together so it’s thicker.
Catherine Hall- Agility Mutant with Dyslexia (Jenn’s Character)
David Wong (Japanese Student)- Physical Mutation, has black eyes with black spots on the back of his hands and from the side of his forehead over his ears and down the side of his neck.
Heath Knight- 14th century Knight
Henry Donners (Dyslexic student)- Henry is able to mimic any fighting moves he sees, this is both good and bad, since if he sees someone do something incorrectly he will then be mimicking it wrongly as well. He is however able to instantly forget about the wrong move if he discovers it is faulty.
James McOray (Deaf Student)- red haired mutant, with gray eyes, he is able to alter the hair colour of both himself and other students.
Lily Hacory (Deaf Student)- Very pale blue hair with similar pale blue eyes, that is her only mutation, though she thinks she’s starting to feel sound waves around her, she’s not thin, but she’s of adverage weight and tends to be shy around others.
Michelle Carman (Japanese Student)- Able to draw images with her mind by touching a surface with her fingers, can not write, just rub images onto surfaces, she seems to alter the colour of the actual thing she is touching, so it can not be washed off unless she wills it to vanish.
Scott Freeman- Fairy Prince
Talia Wagner- Telepathic Shapeshifter with physical mutation as well, blue fur covering her slender form with a long demonic whip like tail that has an arrow head, she has three fingers (one of which is her thumb) and her two toes (she never wears shoes unless shifting into someone.
Tara Wills (Deaf Student)- Long brown hair with lighter streaks, lightly tanned skin, brown eyes and pretty smile. Able to absorb sound and release it in waves of energy that leave her body in pulses, she can only store a certain amount but she can release either all of it for a more damaging attack or just smaller amounts.
