Safety and efficacy of DMARD drugs
the latest thoughts from the medical community indicate that the sooner one goes onto disease modifying medications the better the long term outlook for the patient. for a long time it was said that 'take that drug and you will get cancer'
that notion has been dispelled and the latest infromation indicates the INFLAMMATION that is allowed to smolder without treatment is what can cause Cancer in many instances not these DMARD drugs in dose required to treat our autoimmune diseases.

below you will find a series of links to information in support of the SITE study. I encourage you and all who see this to read them:

I hope they will show you that it is in your best interest to use these medication should they be prescribed for you in the future and to take them exactly as your medical TEAM has determined theu should be used.
If you have any questions, please ask them. many of us have been dealing with these issues for many years. some have used many medications but that doesn't imply that this will be your particular need or future. also know that you are not alone in this.

Wishing you the very best,
Most sincerely,

this longitudinal study confirms that DMARD drugs used to treat uveitis do not pose a threat of cancer in OID patients.

TNF A inhibitors MAY pose a slight risk of cancer.
