Seperate group?
I don't know if anyone addressed this yet, or not. Is the Mos Eisley Police Dept an official group? Did anyone agree if there were going to be rules to get in? If so, what are they? I want in!!

We are an official group...We are the Sandtrooper Detail Squad of the 501st Stormtrooper Legion.
The only rules I know of are the following (this is still being formulated so I would appreciate any input)
1. You must be a member of the 501st with a high quality Sandtrooper costume, ie. Armor (dirty or not) pauldron, backpack, and heavy weapon (optional however there are several good tutorials for hardware versions around e-mail me for info)
2. You must have personally built a portion of your costume from scratch (hardware) generally this will be either the backpack or the rifle (we don't want to be a bunch of display window troopers do we?)
3. You should be as active in your local garrison as your real life permits, work and family come first!
anyone think of anything else...I don't think we need to be real restrictive

Re: Seperate group?
I know the 501st database is slow for updates, but how does one obtain the elite status of being part of the Sandtrooper Detail Squad?
The only thing I have left to complete my suit is my hardware backpack, and I should have it done by next week.
I want in! I want in!
I was actually saving for a whole new set of armor to sand it all up (mainly cuz I don't have the b a l l s to sand my only set!!!! ) but the Vortex 1's are going to be non-existent soon, so I had to pounce on that first.

Re: Seperate group?
ok...I understand about the 501st database...I have been in for over a year and I still am not on there...just send me a pic of you in your armor helmet on and off and you are in...man I gotta get the site back up!
btw there is a place that sell this stuff for model railroading that looks like a great sand job but wipes off once it dries...I'll post the link later
