Marylin Manson is the Jerry Garcia of the 21st Century. Just as legions of drugged Hippies bought the Greaful Dead's simplistic brand of "spirituality through pharmaceuticals," todays youth are beckoned by the crook of Manson's "anti-Christianity." Effing brilliant of MM, actually. What easier thing to exploit than a teenagers natural rebellion against his/her parents and their religion?
Like Garcia, Manson is laughing all the way to the bank at all of his "followers" who blindly shell out cash for CDs, T Shirts, concert Tix, etc. After his death, Garcia was found to have owned casinos and hotels overseas. Not exactly consistent with his anti-establiment, anti-capitalist message, eh? I wouldn't be at all suprised to find out that Manson is really a devout Catholic who donates a large portion of the "heathen's money" that he collects to the church of his choice. One thing is definite: he's a great business man.
I think that's how I will refer to from now on. Marylin Manson, business man.

lol... I doubt Manson is a devout Catholic. It isn't that difficult for anyone to see that organized religion is the downfall of today's society. Look at all the wars going on right now... at least 75% of them are claimed to be started in the "name of god". Either that or because of religious differences... It could all be so simple too. Christians all have one thing in common - their belief and faith in God. Can't they all just get along? Why does religion have to be a barrier? It's sad really... I think it's entirely possible that Manson could be a Christian, he doesn't deny God exists - he simply chooses not to follow that faith. It's possible - anything is possible, but not it's not probable...

Its what he does. Its his job. Its how he makes his money. Would you give up all of the stuff hes got, just to be correct? However i think he should, because alot of people do follow blindly. As it is with everything.

You jumped to a conclusion that is not a reality.
That's OK. Many make this assumption.
God's Word even teaches that this would happen.
The way I see it that just confirms His Word all the more.
Last thing though, 'cause I'd hate to leave you without the difference. It's not about religion, though most have made it seem that way. It's all about a personal relationship with the One who loved you so much that He offered you a free gift whitestonepublishing.org/...e_gift.doc
That gift is His Son Jesus who loved you enough to die for you.

its interesting the way you just pop up eric! hmm....jesus..marilyn manson...both offer somewhere to belong...something to be a part of..acceptance... and some people are just happier with manson...
