Silent Fear's and Rude Awakenings
Appearing in her room after her outburst in the halls with Rogue, Talia leaped onto the hand of her door, locking it closed so she wouldn't get any un wanted visitors entering.
Today only proved it, she wasn't able to handle workingon teams, this wasn't what she expected when she came here, learn how to handle her powers and get an education, that's all she was told, not any of this work as a team stuff!
She paced pace and forth across the room, she promised her father she'd stay, but she couldn't handle it! Would he be ashamed of her if she left?
Was that man the reason for the whole alarm, because then Talia wasn't needed anyway, she couldn't even do a simple task like finding Storm, they had no use of her!
She paced back and forth, first thing is for her to say farewell to Aris, once that was out of the way...she'll leave.
Moving over to the mirrow in her room, she couldn't help but turn her back to it, refusing to look at herself, she was not ashamed of how she looked, but ashamed of how she was acting.
Judas stepped up to Nocturne's door with a confident swagger. He took a hand and brushed his hair back and straitened the tank-top he was loaned. After straitening some of his fur and making sure he looked like a million dollar jean commercial.
<Knock Knock>
"Hey blue, It's Judas. I saw ya in the hall a bit ago. You looked a little bummed. You ok? Wanna talk about it?"
Judas found it difficult to hold back a grin at the thought of being in Nocturne's room alone with her. But, he quickly reminded himself he's here to be a friendly ear and a shoulder to cry on only. For now.

The knock at the door caused her to crouch low as she turned to face it, her hand reached down to the floor and supported her wait. What if that was Rogue? What id the Professor was here to say how disappointed he was in her?
"Hey Blue-"
Her ears twitched slightly at the familure voice of the man she had rescued..
"I saw ya in the hall a bit ago. You looked a little bummed."
Her jaw tightend nervously, how embarressing, he actually saw her outburst! That's one of the last things she would have wanted him to see..
"You ok? Wanna talk about it?"
Maybe if she remained silent he'd go away..
But he didn't, he seemed insistant on staying at her door until she opened it, standing to her full hight, she gave her leather outfit a quick pat down and her wiped any moisture from her eyes away with her arm.
Placing a hand on the door, another on the lock that kept the feline from entering her sancturary, back she took a deep breath, holding it for a moment as she rushed threw the possibility of teleporting away and not confronting the warrior cat.
However as if her fingers where stubbonly refusing such a though, they flicked the lock, and she twisted the door handle slowly pulling it open. Her yellow eyes peered out, studying him, wondering why he had come.
Talia:"Forgive me, I'm in ze middle of packing..."
She spoke with an apologetic tone in her mind link with him

Judas could smell her apprehension on the other side of the door as she unlocked it. Something was -really- bothering her. He offered her a warm smile as the door opened revealing her yellow gaze.

"Oh, really?" his smile blossomed into a grin. "Well, that's cool. Lemmie help ya with that, Blue. No sense in you havin' to do that all by yourself, right?" Judas leans against the door frame propped against his elbow and moves a little closer to her face his voice lowering.
"Besides....You still owe me a tour....Just the two of us."
The last part he whispered thought their mind link.

Without a word, Rogue speeded flying towards Nocturne's room, seeing Judas standing in front of it already from afar.
Gracefully, she landed near him but not close enough to hear anything they were talking, having the feeling to have a bad timing... again.
"Can I...?" she mouthed at him, her concern about Taina as obvious as written on the forehead.
(OOC: sorry to interfer with Rogue here but there's no other probable way to stay in character...)

BIC: Judas caught sight of the southern belle landing out of the corner of his eye. Without missing a beat, or letting on to Nocturne that she was there, Judas shakes the tip of his tail to Rouge as if to say 'Not the best time'. He hopes she gets the message...

Talia hesitated in her response to him.
Talia:"I failed.."
She whispered to him.
Talia:"...I can't stay here, because zese people, zay trusted me, Rogue, she trusted me, und all I did vas fail zem."
She stepped a little away from the door, as if allowing him to enter.
Talia:"It's like zay gave me a gift, a home, a place vere for once in my life, I vasn't afraid to valk about as myself, but I don't deserve such a place....I don't deserve ze love zay have given me, I don't deserve any of it!"
She paused as she fidgets with her tail which was now grasped tightly in her three-fingered hands.
Talia:"Maybe von of zere ozer girls could take you on ze tour...Aris..or..Madison, zay deserve to be here...zay are useful und brave..."

Judas enters Nocturne's room slowly and listens to her go on, his smile fading.

Judas frowns slightly at this. It is a gift. In this world, even one such as Judas can understand how important a safe place to lay your head can be to mutants like Talia.
No matter his reasons for being here, Judas can't help but feel for her. Mutant that look so 'different' like her are easy targets for human bigots on the outside. His blood boils at the thought of human racists. For some reason they bother him more than anything.
All at once, Judas feels concern for her. Here will she go? Where can she go and still be safe?

"Now, stop that, right there." Says Judas as he walks up to the confused young mutant. "I know you're feelin' a lil' messed up right now. But, I'm not about to stand here and listen to you bash yourself. Now, maybe I'm outta line here but, I think you deserve everything good that life was to offer. Especially love." He softly wraps his hands around her's, holding them gently.
"And I know for a fact you're damn useful. I've seen you in action, remember?" Judas smiles at that. "And by the way..." He gently lifts her head with a hand under her chin and locks his emerald eyes on her's.
"I never thanked you for saving my life." At that, he softly presses his lips to her hand with a gentle kiss.

As his feline lips touched her hand her heart skipped a beat, what just happend? People don't just enter other people's rooms and go around kissing hands!
Her tail twitched nervously, how was she supposed to respond? One minute she's shrugging him off so she can leave, the next he's lips are pressed against the back of her hand and he's thanking her? She missed something between 'I've failed' and him stepping into her room..
Talia:"..You're Velcome.."
She replied to him as she looked for something to distract her from this awkward situation, that's when she picked up on her...Rogue, just out the door, there was no way of sneaking up on a telepath! Not this telepath...unless you of course enter her room and plant a kiss on her hand...alright, already off topic, Rogue, what did she want?
With a swirl of her tail the shapeshifter moved towards the door, glancing at Judas as if she was saying 'I know Rogue's here', the blue furred mutant peered out of the door frame, her eyes locking on Rogue who was standing nearby, seeming to be deciding if she should enter or not.
Talia:"I'm not ready.."
She began, the words catching in her throat is if refusing to be spoken aloud, her eyes looking away as she was unable to hold contact with the woman she had let down
Talia:"I'll just be a burdon on your team, everything I touch falls apart on me, people shouldn't be placed in a situation vhere zay rely on me.."
Talia looked over her shoulder towards Judas, refusing to accept the comfort of his presence, she stepped out of her room.

As she didn't want to do the wrong thing, the southern belle did neither say a word nor draw back.
Those words Talia said verbally were too quiet to be understood fully but Rogue got it anyway. An inner struggle began. Should she step a few steps towards them
so Nocturne would HAVE to notice her and try to comfort her.... or should she leave immediately to leave the two some privacy.
The discussion between motherly-type-Rogue and damn-that's-private-Rogue was interrupted by the topic's center point: Talia herself.
A bit embarrassed, Rogue looked shortly down. "Sorry, I didn't mean to spy on ya or anything. It's just..."
The southern belle lifted her head and looked straight into Nocturne's sad eyes.
"You did NOT fail! C'mon, read my mind! D'you find any anger towards YOU? *I* am the one I'm blaming coz I thought the sooner you'd begin
with the whole responsibility thing, the sooner you'd overcome your fear of it. Instead I made things even worse."
She sighed.
"Alright, you didn't find Storm! So what?! There're days I search her for hours without any result! As long as Nalani is fine, you did well because
*that* was your main task and even if she wasn't, I shouldn't have laid that burden on you in the first place.
Besides, I didn't even ask you to search the GSF's leader but you showed courage and intelligence in deciding to warn her
although she obviously wasn't in the War Room."
Smiling encouraging and warmly, Rogue took a step towards her.
"C'mon. Stop that whole talk about leaving and come with me to the MedLab... I'd like to show you the cause for all the trouble! It's a surprisingly
cute one but, *heck* he can't stop talkin'!" she babbled jokingly and added mentally hoping the telepath would catch it.

Talia frowned at first, what did she mean it was *her* fault? The only thing Rogue did wrong was trusting her. But then her mind stopped for a moment just as Rogue mentioned courage and intelligence, no one had ever called her either of those..
A smile creeped across her lips at the mention of Rogue showing her the reason that was behind all this fuss, maybe she was over reacting, evenything was just getting to her here, all at once her world was changing...but maybe for the better..
She could hear Judas moving towards them, obviously his interest was peeked at knowing what had caused her outburst, but she could fell Rogue was pulling Talia into her mind, so her attention was kept with the teacher.
This is what teamwork is about, sugah. We're both, friends and family, for each other and that's all that matters! I'm not mad at you. Nobody is!
No one was mad or disappointed? Not even Xavier? None of them where upset that she couldn't handle the burden that was placed upon her shoulder? She was terrified that Rogue would be ashamed of her, and Nightcrawler had told her that Rogue and him where like family, since both had connections to her grandmother...
She gave a small nod of her head, indicating she wanted to go to the Medlab with her and see the man who nearly ruined her chance of staying here...
The streaked mutant surpressed a sigh of relief. For the glimpse of a moment, she had feared Nocturne would just teleport away.
She smiled glad her... well, what actually? niece-in-law? (OOC: gosh, is there a term for what they are?)
Pushing the thought aside, Rogue became serious.
"To get ya up to date: Those vamps opened some kinda gate and Zippo, Dawn and God knows who else were thrown through it into some other dimension or somethin'. Two of the strangers just disappeared and we dunno whether they're still 'alive' or not. The one I talked about was left behind and we gonna try to get some infos outta him!"
She turned to head for the MedLab.
"Let's go?" , Rogue asked beginning to walk slowly to have a little distance between them so Nocturne and Judas could still talk without her overhearing it.

As Rogue hurried off, Talia looked over at Judas, the look on her face made it obvious she was puzzled over the mention of 'vampires'. She looked at her door, but then her eyes fell on Judas once more.
Talia:"Thank you...perhaps I can take you on zat tour after all."
She said with a faint smile before turning and following Rogue, she looked back only once to see if he was following.
