If you've been reading Young Americans fan fiction for awhile, you
know what The Silver Oar Awards are. If not, the short of it is that
they are around to recognize "excellence in Young Americans
Fanfiction."

Right now, the awards are in the nominating phase. The nomination
deadline is April 21, 2003. You can find out how to nominate here:

Please participate and do so thoughtfully and seriously. Feel free

Voting actually begins on the 28th and lasts until May 12th. Try to read all the fic in a category before voting so you can make a proper choice
