So Far, So Good!
We have camped in ours twice so far, and no problems at all! Right now it's parked up at my parents (our driveway is narrow and steep at the bottom) We have inspected it top to bottom, and the only 'mod' we were able to make was on the dinette fronts. They are held on by screws only, no washers, so we took them off and added the washers. That's it!
Maybe we were just lucky, but we are extremely pleased with our new 'metal tent', lol!

so far, not so good . . .
Merry:

Consider yourself blessed that you have a unit free from problems - we are STILL, after almost 3 months, trying to get ours straighten out!!! We'll keep everyone posted as to whether or not Pilgrim solves our dilemma. 34 issues (not including repeats) and counting . . .

I feel awful about your trouble. Do you think a lot of it was stuff the dealer should have caught and corrected? What little contact I have had with Pilgrim has been fine, but we are all very interested in your outcome. It's good to know they are working with you.....hope they will just admit it was a bad (production) day and give you a new one.
Keep us posted......

so far, so good
We have been camping five times in our 298 RLS and so far have encountered no problems whatsoever. There are a couple of issues that I think need to be corrected in future models, e.g., clear entry glass in door, when sleeper sofa extended no room between foot of bed and the bar, however, these cannot be considered factory defects. We are very pleased with our camper and I really feel that as far as TT's are concerned, it is probably at the top of the class.

Re: so far, so good
We make sure the sofa is all the way up against the wall before we open it up...seems to help a little. That is where my 16 year old sleeps when he goes, so unfolding late at night is not a problem! If the dog needs 'out' in the middle of the night we take her out the 'front' (bedroom door). That is also the door I use when I get up early to have my coffee outside :D
Glad you are as pleased as I am!
