THEE SECOND COUMING- LivEvent w/Gen,Jarboe,Lydia Lunch,etc.
I am going to try as hard as possible to go this event. It's a show consisting of art exhibits/musick/film/pandrogyny/sexual-fetish performance art/anime and much more. My friend Bobb Judd is not only helping to put this on, but he's in it. He's invited me to stay at his house along with Jarboe and her guitarist! Also said I'll get in free as a guest and that all I need to do is get there, he says flights are cheap so fingers, and everything, crossed!
Some of the big names are Genesis P.Orridge, Jarboe (ex-Swans), Lydia Lunch, Sun City Girls, The Cockettes, and so many more and this is the only performance of it anywhere, period!
It is called "THEE SECOND COUMING" and you can check out some background history and pics of all particpants at these links, esp. the first few, and why they are doing this and exactly what it's all about. There is alot of info to read, but I think many of you wonderful people will find the politics of this event and the info. on artistic freedom of expression, etc. VERY interesting and a good, worth-while read.
