Team List Update- Still Being Modified..
To help develop, monitor, train and all things needed to control the various powers of the student body, teachers gather and divide the school students to help train them for a possible place on the future team as a fully fledged X-men. Due to some issues regarding teams and their organizations on matters, there is going to be a slightly altered set up that shouldn’t be too hard to get accustomed to.

Commanders:
First comes the Team commander, the boss of the group who oversees their handling, care and teachings, organize their missions and training and are the person to go to if those members have issues of some kind that need to be discussed. Be it personal or otherwise. In some cases two teachers may be overlooking the running of a single team, it depends on the teachers, and also the team members as well. The teachers used to come up with the code names of the new students, this rule has however been dropped since some students became more rebellious over their dislike of the name or used it as an excuse to act like a ‘rebel without a cause’.
While Storm may oversee the welfare of Gold Strike Force, the team itself must rely on each other to set out who is the ‘leader’, most often it isn’t voted on but merely ends up as someone becoming a de facto representative and leader of the group. While at times this has caused issues regarding people who think they are more fit for the role then someone else on the team, it has proven to be a challenge that makes or breaks the group. Although some students find the form of diplomacy and ‘open for all’ type of attitude they have with the teams, it has taken a majority of students with positive views on the matter. Students having issues with their team members are asked to visit their Commander or the Headmaster/mistress with their concerns, switching teams may not be common but it has happened in the past.
Team Members:
If you thought the previous years were tough, look out, because Jean has gone old school and beyond on these new squadrons. They are scheduled to eat together every day, they are going to be moved into the official team halls, and grouped up throughout the year (The hall is like a large apartment, with bed rooms for all the members with their own bathrooms, but other then that, their kitchen, lounge room, TV room, all the rest that makes up the apartment is going to have to be shared…). If members of the team think they can avoid each other on all occasions aside from the times the teachers throw them together, then they have another shock coming. The ‘Training Wing’ of the Institute had been specially designed for the teams so Jean feels it’s about time they put it back to good use once again. Although gaining a fair few complaints, and more then a couple of clashes are expected to occur, the Teachers are hoping this forced co-existence will strengthen their bonds and weaken their defence barriers.
Training Squadrons:
Students who are not X-men. Those in training are placed on these squads, they are not fully fledged X-men, though are occasionally called that when going out on missions of lower levels of threats. Most squadrons have a de facto leader that wasn’t assigned but managed to rise to the rank. Some people vote who their leader is and others just allow the more experienced or more dominative person to be their ‘leader’. This however holds little competition compared to the team Commander, on the field they are in charge, but the leader generally tries to hold the team together and get them to work with each other.
The ‘New Mutants’ team is designed for younger mutants and those without much control of their powers. This team will be a basic training team, preparing them for the life that awaits them in the coming years without exposing them to any dangers. Mutants with underdeveloped powers remain on the team until they are able to be transferred onto one of the proper training teams.

The West Wing:
One single large corridor makes up the third floor, which is separated into large ‘halls’ that are now the living quarters of the new teams. Four teams are located in the West end of the building on the third floor; Hellions, X-treme, Exiles & Green Rescue Squad. The furthest two are Hellions and X-treme, the main archways are directly opposing each other, the entrance way baring a sign over the door with the name of the team on it. X-treme takes the hall overlooking the ‘backyard’ of the institute while the Hellions are in with the front view. Neighboring the Hellions are the Exile’s large foyer, while Green Rescue Squad sits directly across them -- being X-treme’s neighbor.
The East Wing:
Once you continue along the corridor, the very center of which having the stairs and elevators, you get to the foyers of; Generation X, Ultimates, Untouchables & New Mutants. Generation X along with the Ultimates are located at the distant end of the corridor, Ultimates getting the front view of the school with their neighbors the New Mutants who sit between them and the Exiles entrance hall. The Untouchables are of course between Generation X and Green Rescue Squad with a back view of the school.

Since team names and team members in general are still on the chopping board, I only added the names as an example of how the new set up in the dorms would look. The character rooms are basically the bed with draws not very spacious and each have a bathroom for personal use. I may randomly clean out room threads that contain mature role play and store it in archives which is locked from public view, this stops younger players from reading the material and also during the time I will put up a password for the forum and allow only those involved..(I’d say two people involved, but with people like Matt and Max around you neeever know XD) This is how it has always been done, and how it always will! For access to archived files, give me a holla, as always.
The very vauge things, like some of the Max/Matt posts from a while before I wouldn't mind keeping unarchived, so it depends on what I or another admin think regarding the matter. Same goes for grosely horric blood or horror scenes XD
Anyway, the basic set up, with the halls open to everyone. How does this all sound/look to you?

Team assignments and moves will take place on the following weekend. Anyone who has posts that conflict with this move will be shot XD ... or they could edit accordingly, you know, which ever you prefer!

*glares at the screen in vague hope brain will kick in and tell her what to say* I would enter an auto warning message saying my brain has gone off line. But I think the part of my brain that normally controls that side of thigs has... vanished.. *blinks blankly*
Anyway, from what I can gather from it, as ever I see no troubles from my view. See, good thing I only have Rach to worry about, otherwise you would risk me moaning every three minutes lol.
*truddles slowly off* Oh.. seeing as you said comment, I figured even the blankness of this would indicate I had actually read it.

That's! I just am not sure if we're the only ones reading it or not. I figure Jenn has, but she hasn't posted but mentioned somethng over MSN. I just really need to know people aren't going to moan about this set up because while I was organising it they didn't bother to look and later down the track realize they have issues ...*Folds arms* That's the excuse Im using anyway for my over organizating-skills XD

I like the dorm setup and all that, sounds like it could be interesting and I like putting Kaitlyn and Julian on the same team too. Both so guarded that it would be nice for them to let their guards down and become friends and a bunch of cool people on the team too

Ok Consider it read! Only two comments - can I please have the dates for the move (the following weekend was a bit confusing for me and I would like to put it in the time line)
And Michael's moaning cos he now has to walk up three flights of stairs! But who listens to him anyway! Apart from that it sounds good.

Team assignments are announced friday during lunch, move takes place Saturday. That gives people a nice chance to mingle charries before the whole CO line. It wouldn't make much sense to me that half the school wouldnt even know each other by then XD So this is a good step...*gets distracted with noticing the 'odds and ends' title in the side bar has been linked somewhere* Matt.. what are you doing to my side bar!?
*waddles off to fix it*
Also, I accidently went into too much detail with my 'listing' of events in the past stories section, I do intend to cut it down, that's why I stopped XD
But hey, now I know when I ought to work on bios! when I don't sleep for a whole day (more accurately, when I wait for Loza to hop online...XD) I get seeeriously detailed!

Oh this is random and rather off topic but I wanted to get a clarification anyway. Pets are aloud in Xavier's right? I'm assuming yes (despite the old never assume saying thingy) because in X2 there was a cat in the building and US colleges and other places with residences seem to allow pets...at least according to Buffy.
It might be interesting to actually have some animals on the premises for the animal lovers or for the more solitary people or whatever.

we have pets in the school now! Angela Hughes has a doggie Connor Enright got for her when she first arrived and was all depressed over her mother's death. Additionally Riley Finn has a puppy called Katie who made an appearence in our Green Strike Force meeting thread in the outer grounds..
So they're allowed at the school, and there's a group of students who offer time for babysitting animals when students are away or need help (since the babysitters are like vets in training and what not)
