it mostly looks good to me *nods* Storm's team stayed the same and Rogue's changed a lot 'cept for Talia which is really in character and all good. The teams in general seem quite balanced without many extreme changes (like Kane and Murray are still on the same team and such).
Now, what about Exiles? Do we disassemble them in the end? If we could manage to let the current members make enough progress to "hand them over" to other teams, it could work out but in this case I think Aurora should be on some team as well. What about 2nd in command for Gold? It;s her old team after all and she could lead one group when they've gotta split up resp. do the computer side of things and support Storm with the tactic stuff etc....
It's just that most other student team leaders are on another team and Aurora seems to have neither in the end *points at sulking girl with ruined self-esteem*

well I gave her neither coz I wasn't sure what on earth was happening to our beloved outcasts. I figured Garnet could be on a team of your choosing and also co lead some training team since she's a pretty good leader, compassionate and commanding at the same time...

Okay I'm reading the lists now as I post this and I'm probably going to be a pain in the butt so I apologise in advance for that.
I was going to comment on seperating Aisha and Drian but come to think of it that could actually work in character development favour. I like the idea of seperating these two and forcing Drian to open up a little more to other people, become more normal etc.
I've actually decided I no longer know what to do with the character of Kalan. He's the sort of charrie who was a spur of the moment thing based loosely on a person I knew and no longer have contact with so I'd like to drop him entirely as soon as the team missions on the island are finished.
*grins at putting Jess on Wolverine's team* Hehe he won't take any crap, could be fun!
I'm fine with Green Strike Force, the only thing being as a fairly new leader Lexi would probably be pretty intimidated by Riley being on her team and she'd really be second-guessing herself so I don't know how that would work out.
I have got Kaitlyn/Facade to stick on a team as well since she will have been there long enough by then. She probably wouldn't be problematic when it came to following instructions or actual powers performance and hopefully she'll open up a little during the Criminal Offences storyline.
Are there still going to be second in commands/co-leaders? I really would like to stick Ryan Warner in somewhere and Johnny and Jack Harmony, even if it's just as co-leaders of some team, otherwise I don't know how much of an occasion I'd get to play some of them. Johnny could be Cerulean second in command like before perhaps?
Jack Harmony could probably be a member of the command force since he's experienced enough but Ryan is newer and Johnny would depend on the situation.
Oz isn't really ready for a team just yet. I would eventually like to play good Clark Kent but I'll leave him with the brotherhood for awhile and slowly let him begin to drift later on.
Actually I don't think I was half as troublesome as I thought I would be! *smiles proudly* Sorry for any changes that may have to be made though and for the questions.

Lady, I honestly have no problems with re organizing the entire teams for you alone
That is why I asked, I want people to enjoy their teams as well since most of the time I just throw them in because I have no idea what to do with them personally and figure the players can organize themselves if they really wanted to.
I will assign Co-leaders, because there may be a time someone can't post, for character issues or real life issues that will be put off as 'character issues' XD and then the second in charge can take over without anything drastic occuring since the team is already used to it. I already added Johnny to Kurt's team but removed it since I wasn't sure if the lack of co leaders was a hint that no one liked my co leader ideas..
Anyway, I was going to see if we have enough for another team, that way we reduce the Task Force teams by one player and perhaps one of the new X-men take charge of another team.
And as for Riley, I had noticed the fact that Lexi may actually have problems there, but Riley would be in not condition to take any of the other teams when these teams are originally set together, as it will be done over the week when Scott is thought to be dying. And by then Riley will be deprived of mostly all his 'powers'. But also Lexi wouldn't know of his training as an agent all she would know is that he had a team for a while only six months of it he was locked away in his room and he rarely had any part in the group due to the issues with one of the members who run off. So she could possibly think that Riley isn't as experiened as he really is. Sort of like her only got stuck with a team that went down hill due to unlucky situations repeatedly occuring.
That's up to you how she handles it but we wouldn't logically send Riley out when he could get girl slapped and fly across the room by the force of it XD

Okay the explanation about Riley helps things out, just so long as he doesn't doubt her openly in front of her team then she'll be okay I think *decides not to promise on behalf of charries in case they run wild*
I like the co-leaders idea because there aren't enough teams for each teacher to have one and because it gives the newer teachers a chance to get some experience before being lumped on with responsibilty. I'm totally up for it, most of my teacher charries are more second in commands than full leaders anyway... *glances in Jack's direction* he might be an exception but he could be second in command easily enough too.
Okay so I guess Kaitlyn is the only addition and she could be placed in Kalan's spot if you wanted to save hassle or put somewhere different, whatever works out.
Hmmm I have to go to the bank and do the money thing so I can actually buy lunch and dinner tomorrow at school so I am off but glad it's not too much trouble and I really like the teams, especially with the interesting new colour names Adds variety!

Seeing as Racheal is my only team member (ack, sounds like work) charrie at the moment, looking at it, all seems good. Assuming Wolverine is being played accurately to the comics/film, she'ld respect him enough not to wind Max up (hey, maybe they don't need to try and kill each other!) especially if Max is more controlled. Rach doesn't really have a problem with Jess as of yet, and she knows & likes Lauren so that will be good for her.
Re: Other Charries... Well, at 15 Hannah is too young to be in a team. And as of yet, Wes is only a guest at the institute till I find a reason for him to stay there. (He will be a student eventually.. but that will be after CO at some point).

Got a couple of questions:
Seeing as there are no second in commands here does that mean that Sean will no longer have any greater responibility than a regular team member? Only reason i ask is that with his dad's death (and imminent return) im not sure how he could take the loss of that responsibility, his family and that position were the only things keeping him together, being strong for the institute, if he essentially feels 'demoted' then that could be anohe blow that might be the straw that breaks the camels back *sniggers at funny saying*
Is there a reason why Bobby hasnt been included in any team, even the team thats similar to the original x men. He too would have years of experience that he could put to good use and wondered where he could be put, dont think he would be a team leader character (given his slight lack of maturity sometimes) but he does have years of experience and strong handling of his powers so surely he should be somewhere *see bobby looking all down about extrication from a team and subbsequently freezing random objects for the sake of it*
Just need to clarufy these issues so that i know where i am.

Ok... sorry everyone. Again, another possibility for teams. The names are just ones I pulled out of nowhere and are of course up for discussion...*eyes the oh so creative Green Team name* XD
Anyway, I threw some ideas around, sorta hard since new characters are caming, so not taking second in charges into prospective at the moment, here's my list. We can after all just add the second teachers to whatever group seems fitting. I'm just trying to see who likes what more, anyway, even though this is the basic draft, I'll set up the dorms for them, since it's easy to edit them later. ^^
This is also going by my new rule regarding teams, so I suggest you read the rule/info section to see what's going on there. I'm sorry people but it seems we have to go all out in order to get these people together and actually talking. So this is a test run and we'll see how it goes. Please, no fussing too much, let's see how it all pans out before whining about oddballs walking around in their underwear outside your doors!!

To help develop, monitor, train and all things needed to control the various powers of the student body, teachers gather and divide the school students to help train them for a possible place on the future team as a fully fledged X-men. Due to some issues regarding teams and their organizations on matters, there is going to be a slightly altered set up that shouldn’t be too hard to get accustomed to.

Commanders:
First comes the Team commander, the boss of the group who oversees their handling, care and teachings, organize their missions and training and are the person to go to if those members have issues of some kind that need to be discussed. Be it personal or otherwise. In some cases two teachers may be overlooking the running of a single team, it depends on the teachers, and also the team members as well. The teachers used to come up with the code names of the new students, this rule has however been dropped since some students became more rebellious over their dislike of the name or used it as an excuse to act like a ‘rebel without a cause’.
While Storm may oversee the welfare of Gold Strike Force, the team itself must rely on each other to set out who is the ‘leader’, most often it isn’t voted on but merely ends up as someone becoming a de facto representative and leader of the group. While at times this has caused issues regarding people who think they are more fit for the role then someone else on the team, it has proven to be a challenge that makes or breaks the group. Although some students find the form of diplomacy and ‘open for all’ type of attitude they have with the teams, it has taken a majority of students with positive views on the matter. Students having issues with their team members are asked to visit their Commander or the Headmaster/mistress with their concerns, switching teams may not be common but it has happened in the past.
Team Members:
If you thought the previous years were tough, look out, because Jean has gone old school and beyond on these new squadrons. They are scheduled to eat together every day, they are going to be moved into the official team halls, and grouped up throughout the year (The hall is like a large apartment, with bed rooms for all the members with their own bathrooms, but other then that, their kitchen, lounge room, TV room, all the rest that makes up the apartment is going to have to be shared…). If members of the team think they can avoid each other on all occasions aside from the times the teachers throw them together, then they have another shock coming. The ‘Training Wing’ of the Institute had been specially designed for the teams so Jean feels it’s about time they put it back to good use once again. Although gaining a fair few complaints, and more then a couple of clashes are expected to occur, the Teachers are hoping this forced co-existence will strengthen their bonds and weaken their defence barriers.
Training Squadrons:
Students who are not X-men. Those in training are placed on these squads, they are not fully fledged X-men, though are occasionally called that when going out on missions of lower levels of threats. Most squadrons have a de facto leader that wasn’t assigned but managed to rise to the rank. Some people vote who their leader is and others just allow the more experienced or more dominative person to be their ‘leader’. This however holds little competition compared to the team Commander, on the field they are in charge, but the leader generally tries to hold the team together and get them to work with each other.
The ‘New Mutants’ team is designed for younger mutants and those without much control of their powers. This team will be a basic training team, preparing them for the life that awaits them in the coming years without exposing them to any dangers. Mutants with underdeveloped powers remain on the team until they are able to be transferred onto one of the proper training teams.

*nods* I read the rules thing before coming here. Of course it completely horrified half of my characters who begged for it not to happen but I'm always one for torturing charries and it could be interesting.
Oh and as a sidenote I'm still in the researching/deciding stage but I'm leaning towards taking up Kitty Pryde...just feel more comfortable with her than Dani despite Dani being a great character. We'll see though...

I think it'd be good to state somewhere that there are still plenty of students that are on no team at all and even partly unware of their teachers' and fellow students' "other" lives! Cos that's definitely gotta be the case though most PLAYED students would probably be on a team... so it'd just be some background info type of thing.. but an important one to get things into the right perspective.
Aaanyways, I like the idea *nods* though it does have something Harry Potter-ish with the shared common rooms and all but at least they've got their own appartments XD
Also, would the commanders live in the same thingy as well? Or closeby? Would Storm who has never had a private life while I've played have to leave her precious attic loft thingy??*can so see her clinging to it*

Kane on X-Treme: Lady, I *think* Aisha and Kane never realised that they were... sort of... veeeery strange twins, right? But if I remember correctly, we had Storm and Aisha find out about it .. mentioned it veeery vaguely as a sidenote but I'm not entirely sure. His placement is fine though... and maybe Kisho could fit into that team? He seems more of a social character... Frank? whattcha think?
Also, what about putting Gambit as X-Treme's leader and Jean for the Hellions? It'd probably be... not that great to have her lead a team with her son as a member but the other thing could work out... ?
Aurora leading Exiles: YES!! *huggles the team* I wanna keep 'em!! I'm not entirely sure about the line-up though. Isn't Vehemence a pretty uncomplicated character? I'd really like to keep Gypsy on it.. cos.. she's evil XD And I forgot whether Lady was against it but what about Casey? I figure it'd be nice for him to stay there.. gives him a chance to grow instead of another down by being put somewhere less stressful... may be just me though... juust a suggestion

I guess if we are really to do such a massive change, it'd be good to have it ASAP after the team missions... like... saying they've been a test drive sort of thing to see everybody's strengths and weaknesses on the basis of which they new concept has been worked out?

And am gonna be cruel and re-point out that I really don't want Hannah on any teams at the moment. I just don't think it would be good for her, plus it will be nice for me to have her randomly running about. And at some point Wes will be up for offer for a team.. when he is actually a student. *pauses* hmm.. I can't imagine Wes keeping anything secret from Hannah.. and Hannah can't keep secrets really.. That could be a fun issue to deal with lol!

Jean I don't want to be a team leader. She has too much stress with the school, leading a team would put her in Beast's tender graces suffering from some form of repeated mild heartattackes and drives into depression - well this is during the time she's stressing over Scott's death. She's really not able to take on responsibility of teams and pesky students going through woe!

Yup you're right Matt we never had them realise, I was just smiling at it a little the strange irony in placing the strange in a very extended way siblings on a team together.
Nope I'm not against it...Casey needs some guts and to learn to stand up for himself and where better than with the Exiles? It would be nice to have one maybe niceish person to keep him company though...

I have a big quiz tomorrow so not much reserach time tonight but I'll start work on a bio soon, I did read a bunch of stuff last night. How old might Kitty be in NE by now? I know she'd be younger than some but i'm not sure what age bracket... also I may have skipped over this part but is her dragon Lockheed still around? On the site I was reading they stopped mentionning him but never said he left... And also I do still want to have her kid alive although not neccessarily around right away although I do want to rewrite with her husband and all that. Is that alright?

Lockheed was in a picture with Icarus so I'd say he is part of the team still. Icarus sang to him! (Ok, Lockheed was also blowing fire at Icarus and my spinky winged dude sang to tame him... dunno what that was all about XD)
Co-commanders will come in once the teams are set up, we assign the left overs ( ) to whatever team or leader suits them best. (for those who want to be second in charge that is!)
Concerning Rogue:
It’s not that I find Rogue a problem, it’s the group on her team, I don’t know, but at this point, I honestly feel as if I want to pull Talia out and put her somewhere else. Aside from that being ruuude…Talia would have multiple mini strokes. *Pats her easily traumatized charries* I am currently having issues with Dawn. She used all my nail polish from Aussie and I’m not speaking with her!! ..>>…<<…>>…okies.. I admit, my creativity for her is failing XD

The point of having those ‘leaders’ in the teams was to offer some form of order while they are not under the teachers supervision, but other then that it is mainly for the students to get to know each other, teachers being there would be counter productive. Like Riley telling his entire team he’s been leading squadrons into battle since he was fourteen, saying Lexi has no idea what she’s on about, and all in front of her I might add… then asking what her opinion on the situation is and what they ought to do about it XD
As I said, the names were just thought in there and were whatever came to mind – Frost having the user name Ultimate and Rogue being untouchable and all XD
Riley would commit suicide if they didn’t allow each other to visit the other dorms. So, for the health of my Catherine obsessed pal, I already thought of allowing everyone to meet and greet. Of course if some teams have issues with each other and get into fights a ban may put in place for THOSE two teams to mingle XD

I love all my characters and I’m not keen on dropping any yet but there are ones that just don’t tickle me like some of my other ones and I’d like to put them somewhere which ignites their flares once again. A character is more then just who they are and how we play them, it’s who we play them with! And I have a few charries, also causing a problem, so I don’t want them all on teams any more. I never thought of it, just figured, ‘they’re at the school, they have powers, get the hell on a team you lot!!’ But that doesn’t have to be the case. Dawn can be removed from the team due to personal reasons…like she has too much school work, or more likely, she’s tired of always fighting. She grew up saving the world from being sucked into hell dimensions, she wasn’t to spend the prime of her life living!
I’ll see how things go with Heath. He can always back out of a group later. Give a chance for someone else to switch with him. I’m sorry Matt but as much as I love Exiles it seemed self destructive which is why I changed it a little and I ought to have talked more with you – you’d nag here anyway so I saved my energy! I figured two positive faces would help. At the moment I can’t see someone on X-treme who Connor would thoroughly take delight in. I’m adding Kisho and I think that would give a well rounded team. No offence to you introverts, but Connor’s trying to get out of a depression, so far everyone on the team has issues of some kind XD *Looks at other worlder, Apoc. experiment and fatherless dude…not to mention guy spiraling into bouts of serious depression!*

I was thinking on Tuesday… Monday they are warned about team assessments and Tuesday they are thrown into their new rooms XD
What do you think? Or is that TOO soon? I thought it could be fun to have it done sooner and give people a change to mingle with each other before the Criminal Offences so that way they know who their characters mingle with better or at least get to know a few people before hand.

I must admit I like the idea of having Heath or Lauren on Exiles because I think they still have their edge but it is neccessary to have one or two people there who are semi-decent. I can't see putting Casey on that team if Paige has been removed and everyone else is along the lines of Gypsy, Max, Jess etc. He needs at least one person who isn't completly hostile to him even if it's only one otherwise it would be just as well to move him.
I understand about the characters not being as inspiring as well, I have a few like that which is why Sam, who I never really played much, and Kalan I want to drop. I have some creative issues with Loni, Lexi and Murray too but Murray I think can be rejuvinated with a different team and a few friends. We'll see how it goes, Lexi needs some actual personality traits beyond insecurity though... *plans to actually get Lexi a friend or two*
Good about the allowances for visiting other teams as well. Jack needs to keep an eye on Jess afterall...
I think that sounds good actually, provides a chance for fun fun shockingness of getting them all adjusted to new roommates. *pictures some tramatised charries and grins evilly* Ahh nothing like torturing a character

Well, Rach has met both Lauren and Heath so she would be good to them *nods* She might actually have a converstation... *jaw drops* Okay.. maybe that is asking too much... And she doesn't have a problem with Casey, she just hasn't actually gotten round to speaking to him yet... Hey, she has issues at the moment lol. Erm. No, that's not an excuse.
Anyway. Time wise throwing them together at any point doesn't really affect my Racheal plans. Decided that she'll but herself through training for a few weeks anyway considering how shattered she made herself on the team missions. She know's she's better than that.. she's gotten lazy. *shakes head*

about Exiles:
Personally, I don't mind a change in the line-up as long as it's making sense but if the purpose of Exiles is to get the outsiders/loners/... integrated, then we can't put some sociable, nice person in there, can we? Just a thought... I wouldn't make a fuss about it but if said sweet and innocent character would suffer severe mental scars from Jess' maltreatment, I wanna be the one who can go "told you so"
as for the leader thing: now that we've got an Archangel, there's one more potential leader type of person so that could actually work without Jean and such *has the feeling he'd already mentioned that*
And that's about all I can think of at the moment... oh, and I didn't think you disliked Rogue or whatever! Just that thought that if it was that difficult getting an ok-ish team assembled there, maybe it'd be better to just drop the whole group... or... such...

Well not neccessarily completely adjusted, I mean everyone has issues right but I do think that someone a little more sociable even if they have their own darkside and problems would be a nice addition. Don't get me wrong I love the team and everything being strange but with Paige gone Casey doesn't have anyone at all and I know Rachael isn't bad and most of them don't mean to be but he's been ignored all his life and if he's going to be in living quarters with a team then there needs to be at least one person who will notice him occationally in a positive way. I'm all for the struggle and not letting my character take the easy way out but he does need some openning up and with no one to talk to even to make small talk with he'd basically be standing still.
Pffft if a person can't deal with Jess' verbal bashing good luck to them in the real world... maybe it's character stand up for protectiveness but I think Jess is relatively harmless, except with the sarcasm and not caring, unless you seriously piss him off.
