The Journey of Lupo the Husky
Talk about crazy...while reading the front page of our local newspaper I saw a picture of a siberian husky practically covering the front page. Naturally, I had to read the article...
The husky's name is Lupo, and he traveled 1,200 odd miles from New York to my hometown in Faribault, Minnesota. They're currently accepting donations for his return to his owner in New York.

Whoa . That's not a story you hear every day. So do you know what kind of condition he was in when they found him?
Re: The Journey of Lupo the Husky
Yes, as a matter of fact, they said that he was in VERY good condition when he arrived, which is fairly surprising. You'd think that all those miles would really take a toll on his paws. I'm gonna try to scan the picture from the newspaper and put it on my site when I get the time.

Wow, that's even farther than what Balto ever attempted. But then again, there's no frostbite along the way rite? Figures. Perhaps this Lupo is on some kinda mission. Who knows... This thing reminded me of my mum, who used to hate cats when she was little (she still does now.) Once she put this male stray cat somewhere far far far away because it kept coming to her home and make a racket. And would you know, it ACTUALLY came back after a few months!

That thought DID actually cross my mind, but the owner claims that he "has no idea how the dog got there". It'd be a pretty big feat not to realize that your dog has been gone for the past few weeks...]

Very lucky dog ! Most animals get hit my cars if they try to travel that far, or are killed by something else. It's sad to see stray animals with out a home .
