Physical Description: Thom has blonde hair that's medium length and usually worn loose and reddish brown eyes. He looks fabulous for his age, appearance being that of a guy in his early twenties to mid twenties. Some would see him as a regular heart-breaker. He knows this and uses it to his advantage many times a week. He has an athletic build to a male model build, stands at six feet and an inch and perfers to wear darker clothes rather than lighter ones although he will occasionally wear it anyways. Most of the time though, he likes to wear button down shirts either halfway or fully open and nothing underneath. He's rarely caught wearing shorts, perferring long pants.
Powers: Thom is a fountain of youth of sorts. He has the ability to give a person longer life and some youth to go along with it.. But there's a price. He can't give any without taking any. To add on to a person's life-span he has to take someone else's years or life away from them. He uses his powers by touch and is unable to do it any other way. He must have physical contact with the people he is using his powers on. If he does not have someone to take life from to give it to another person, his powers draw from him, pulling away his own years.
He doesn't only use his abilities to add on to the life-span of another person but he uses it to keep himself young and alive. That's how he has been staying the way he is for the lenght of time he had been around. As long as he has someone to draw from, he can keep going with his abilities but if there is no one, he will be sacrificing his own years and possably his own life.
With how it looks when his powers are being used, there is no visable current of life when he converts it but the sacrifice does become weak and disoriented. Sometimes, their years being stripped away from them makes them age although there are times-- if he concentrates hard enough, when they look perfectly fine and only have a shorter life-span.
He can give the people that sacrificed their years those years back from another sacrifice as long as the person hadn't died from the conversion. He can even get them to look young again if he concentrated hard enough.
He has to be touching bare skin for his powers to work although if it's really thin fabric, he can manage. /if the person has a forcefield around them then it wouldn't work. it wouldn't work if someone were wearing bulletproof armor either and so on/
History: Thom was born into a family of three children and a father. His mother had died in childbirth- Died giving birth to him. She had already been weak from some unknown sickness and the stress of the labor ended up being too much on her. His father went into mourning but apparently got over the loss quickly, as only a week later he was re-married to his late-wife's cousin.
It wasn't just her that became the new addition to the family though- her three month old daughter was brought in too... It was a marriage of conveniance; the woman had never gotten married and had a baby to look after and the man had just lost the mother of his children, one of them being a newborn. Lauren had already been helping with the nursing of the baby before but then as her and Grey spoke they came to the agreement of marriage.- Grey was actually the father of Lauren's daughter anyway. //insert dramatic music here//
The marriage only lasted nine months, Lauren seeming ot have caught the same illness that Grey's previous wife had had. Lauren just collapsed one day and never woke up- literally, she dropped dead. Now, having four children in need of care, Grey went in search of another wife. To his displeasure, he only found rumors that people had been spreading of him being a wife-killer.
After all of the toruble he went through to only fail, Grey gave up. Figuring that both of the youngest children were old enough to be weaned anyway, he turned to hiring nannys to watch the children. He had plenty of money to do that, him being the owner of a brothal and all.
As the brothal became more and more popular, all of the children began seeing less and less of their father- with the exception of the youngest and only son, Thom. Thom was the favorite child and that fact was not hiden. He was given the most gifts during birthdays and holidays, given the most attention whenever Grey was home, and was allowed to get away with much more than any of his siblings.
Thom didn't turn out to be a spoiled brat though, as surprising as that is.- He was actually always generous as he grew up and was uncomfortable with the special treat ment, thinking it ws unfair to the others. There was no convincing his father of treating him any other way though or showing more care to his sisters.
When Thom was twelve, it seemed that all of the members of the household were falling ill. The same symptoms as his two late-mothers; weakness, apparently sudden aging, and disorientation. His father seemed to be suffering form it the most. Thom was no dummy, he started noticing the pattern and realizing that while everyone else was sick, he was feeling fantastic.- Which was definately not normal. His conclusion became clearer to him when almost as soon as he realized it, everyone became well again.
His conclusion was that he must be the cause of the strange illness. Knowing that if he told anyone what he had discovered would have him institutionalized or accused of being the devil, he kept it his secret. The thought of being examined didn't sound too good to him either. None of those results would be in his favor.
Thom begam experimenting with his powers, now that he actually knew of them instead of them just working without his awareness. He tested them on stray animals that he came across while at home, near the school, or at the brothal.- Mostly at the brothal due to his father bringing him there all of the time to get him used to the scenery and to prepare him for when he would take over one day. Having been using his powers all through his life even though he hadn't known he had been seemed to pay off, him learning quickly on how it worked.
When Thom came to the age of forteen, he was sent off to a private school- his father only wanting him to have the best aducation. Like many teen-aged boys who are introduced into a new school, Thom found himself getting into trouble as the other boys antagonized him into fights. About the seond year of this, he got fed up.- He started to bring his powers into play. That seemed to scare the annoyances off- and at the same time, get him even more attention from the female population than he already had been getting from just his good looks.
It seemed that the bullies being afraid of him brought more attraction.- Which he had no complaints about. Who would complain with girls throwing themselves at them and inviting him to many a private tutoring through the years? Not him! He became a playboy, a heart-breaker. He even had some of the teachers trailing after him.
Upon graduation, which seemed to come too soon for the women of the school, he was brought home by his father. Upon arrival, he searched for his sisters only to end up finding them at the brothal-- not only in it but them being part of Grey's business! They had become ladies of the night. At first, Thom had been furious with his father but when he heard from their own mouths that they had chose this line of work willingly, his anger turned to confusion. His sister told him that it was easy work and that with their looks, they got plenty of customers. He was a bit disgusted by them in the beginning but after a little while, grew used to the concept of having whores as sisters.
At the turn of his nineteenth birthday, he became the new owner of the brothal and almost everything else his father had as Grey passed from a lung infection. At that point in his life, he saw the whole life-style of a pimp as an every day thing. That didn't mean he thought it was the life for him though. Although it was frowned upon for someone to give a woman any form of property, he did so, passing his inheritance over to his sisters.
He had planned on using his abilities to help people and as his line of profit a while ago and with his father having passed away, he was now free to pursue that plan. Giving a farewell to his sisters and tellig them that he may come around for a visit time to time, he seemed to disappear from their lives. He never did get around to ever going back.
Thom traveled the United States and then eventually the world, being a kind of fountain of youth for hire. He would take money to make people younger by sacrificing another person's years- usually the other person being a willing sacrifice but sometimes him just doing his job with whomever the person paying him offered to him. While on the job, he would skim a couple of the years off off the sacrifice for himself, it keeping him young. Getting old was nowhere in his plans in his life.
One day, a man named Travis Luminari called him, using a business card that he gave to his customers sometimes. The man told him that he used to be a skeptic about the whole thing but now that his wife, Samantha, was dieing- he was desperate. Apparently, she had gotten into an accident that made her have to have a heart transfusion but now, the doctors were saying she only had a year to live because the heart was one from an older person.
The offer the man made to Thom more than caught his attention and withing the next couple of days, he was at the Luminari manshion. When he explained to the man that a sacrifice would be needed, Mr. Luminari immidately offered himself up as the sacrifice, him not knowing anyone else who would do the same. Travis asked for all but four years of his own life be taken and given to his wife, him feeling that four years to remain with the love of his life being more than worth giving up the rest of it so she could live a long happy life.
Samantha was not as loyal to her husband though. Having fallen to the looks of Thom and having grown a strong attraction to him due to his ability to restore life, she of course wanted him. While Travis lay in bed recovering from the conversion process, she paid Thom to take her to different places and as one thing led to another, she managed to get him to many hotels as well. The cheating lasted for a month of bunny-love before Thomas was called for another job of life-giving and he left her while she was spending time with her husband.
Thom had no clue that he had made a child on Samantha until he recieved a call from Samantha for the job of lenghtening her life again about twenty years later. It wasn't until he was actually in the manshion again that he found out. And the only reason he did was because Samantha had used the fact that she was the mother of his child as a means of trying to get the conversion for free. When he demanded why she hadn't told him about the child, she had told him that she hadn't thought it was important. Infuriated, he left the woman without giving her any more of his time or taking the job- leaving in search of his daughter by the name that he managed to get from the wench. She wouldn't tell him anything except for the name so it would be hard.
Personality:
Thom doesn't really care who he works for as long as he's getting his money. He is also more than willing to take a few years for himself if someone offers, usually getting them from suicidal people. He perfers not to take life from animals, them usually having a shorted lifespan than humans and that giving him more of a chance of messing up and killing them too soon.
Although he never saw his sisters again, he does care about family and with their children, childrens children and so on, he has tracked them down and sent them money and gifts. If he had known about Lorili, he would have been there for her after her father's life ended. And if he had heard about what Samantha had done to her, he would have killed the woman by aging her to death!
Thom doesn't worry about many things and is quick to flirt when he sees a lovely lady. Sex is a casual topic for him but if one were to know how he was raised, they would understand why.
He doesn't lose his temper easily, something Lorili inherited. But when he does lose it, he either tries to avoid the person who managed to piss him off or he tries to kill them by making them a sacrifice to give him a few more years.
Likes:
He likes money, women, and the fact that he has the ability to convert life. It's not just because of greed that he likes money but because he can send it off to his relatives to help them out as he had been for so long. He has a fondness for berries, particularly with whipped topping. His favorite dish is a blueberry shortcake with blueberry sauce, vanilla ice cream, and whipped topping.
Dislikes:
He's found that he has a dislike for Samantha Luminari recently. But other than that, he isn't too fond of alchohol, violence towards women, or needles.

Thom stepped though a doorway he hadn't passed in twenty years. It was the home of a customor he had once serviced and a woman who had once been his lover for month or so. Sevants greeted him, different ones from the last time he was there, and they led him to the lounge room before scurrying off to do chores and to give him and the woman who had called him some privacey.
"Oh Thom, I was beginning to wonder if you were really coming." Samantha said, smiling gorgeously. She still looked beautiful even when her face was touched with the hint of aging. She didn't look as aged as she would have naturally of course, her body holding onto the youth that had been borrowed by her now late-husband.
"I want to be young again, Thom. Wrinkles don't suit me one bit. I was thinking though- I want this time to be free." She told him. Thom gave a laugh and shook his head. "I don't give anyone discounts or free life, sorry." He commented as a reply. At her sudden grin, he felt confused.
"You'd give it for free for the mother of your daughter wouldn't you?" She stated. The words that came from her mouth had him frozen in shock for a moment, him being caught in disbelief. "What?- We have a daughter together?" He almost stuttered out. "Why didn't you ever tell me until now? Why didn't you tell me about her until you brought her up as a means of a discount? What's her name? Where is she?" Thom demanded.
A slightly annoyed look crossed Samantha's face and she stood up from the over-stuffed chair she had been sitting in. "Because I didn't think it was important until now. Her name's Lorili and I don't know where the hell she is, she just ran off one day." She replied.
All at once, the woman who had looked so good to him turned ugly in his eyes. He wanted to just sap the life out of her but instead, he whirled around so not to be lookig at her. "You can forget about ever getting any more service from me." He stated before storming out. He would find his daughter- He'd make it up to her for not having been in her life.
Info pried from nagging: Relationship between father and aunt/ His father pretty much only had physical attraction to the woman, the woman being a bombshell version of her couisin who was his wife. Then, when his wife keeled over, he saw the woman as a good replacement as the children's mother.
Thom's mother was not one of the workers at the Brothal and actually didn't realy know her husband owned one, her being almost strictly a house-wife besaides going to different parties or occasionally being taken out for romantic carriage rides by her husband.
Not much really happened between back then and now for Thom, all he did really was go around selling life and sending some of the money to his relatives from his sisters on, going down the line form their children to their children's children and so on. He advertizes by word of mouth and the business cards he hands out to his customers.
While using his powers, at the time of the conversion he's left completely vounerable. The only thing he can see and hear is the stream of life that's passing through him. But that's only while the actual channeling is going on where he is passing the life to someone, not when he saps it out of someone.
His price-range varies but still remains pretty high. The average is three thousand dollars per year of life given.

What are his power weaknesses? Obviously someone with a shield and whatnot can keep him from touching them and stuff.. you might want to explain exactly that sort of stuff. Does it have to be skin to skin or can it work regardless if he touched someone wearing clothes.. bulletproof armour, and what not.
And if ihe's 100% man, does that mean he's gay, because usually it's insecure men like that who insist on their manliness

Because he has such a long life span you do move from victorien times to modern day rather fast..... anything else youd like to fill in ??
How do people know about him. Does he advertise.??....word of mouth.....?? How much does he charge.......I mean are only the very rich going to be able to afford him?

And yes his powers have limitations but not actual drawbacks at the moment. Is there any danger to him when he uses them........??
