Uvitis,Optic neuro,
Hi my name is Sheila I am 45 and live in Indiana. I have had Uvitis, optic neuro, vitritis in both eyes for about 3 years,it started in the left eye which is now 20/400 rt is 20/80 at present time. I have cateracts in both eyes that can't be removed due to the uvitis. The glare from lights make me hate to go anywhere. Lights in Walmart kill me
Have optic nerve damage loss of peripheral vision ,night blindness ect. I am curently having a lot of stabing pains in the left eye and the whole eye swells and feels like I have been hit in the eye.The eye lid droops all the time. As I read some of your post I am amazed at some of the terms and numbers that you use to describe you conditions. My Dr is the type you have to pull info from him.
I am not working haven't since april of this year I did factory assembly work and can't do that now.My Dr advised me to apply for SSI Disabilty due to the long process. Does anyone have any dealing with this rocess and any sugestions?. Is all the pain in the eye's normal? it will be bad for a day or 2 and then be ok for a while and then come back. When should I call the Dr about it?I just have gotten so used to it I just live with it.
I am so glad I have found this site I have learned so much.
Sheila
