Vibration when accelerating - Need Help?
I have a 2002 xtreme and it's been vibrating since I got it. I took it to several mechanics to get checked out. They all think that it feels like a problem with the driveshaft. I got the driveshaft balanced, hanger bearing and all of the u-joints replaced. After I did this the vibration was worse. My mechanic called the dealership and they said that I need a new driveshaft. He did not feel like it was the driveshaft so he kept on looking for the problem. He replaced the engine and transmission mounts. I still have the same vibration. I am getting very frustrated with this problem. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Did you replace the CV joints in the driveshaft when you replaced the U-joints? They cause a vibration when they sart to go bad.
