Vl twin turbo
I'm currently trying to fit twin turbos to my rb30 motor and i was just trying to find out if there are any of these conversions around at the moment and also any web pages about it.
If any of you guys know of any then i'd like to hear from you.
My ICQ# is 19706567

Re: Vl twin turbo
Have you tried looking around for nissan skyline twin turbo conversions instead, cos remember VLs have skyline engines.
If not try getting a pro to do the conversion for ya.

Re:VL twin turbo
It would probaly be a hell of a lot easier to bolt in an RB26DETT (skyline GT-R), which can be sourced from almost any Jap wreckers from $4500-$8000. The engine will bolt straight onto the Vl crossmember.
.
but then what do you do about the 26DETT being a 4wd engine?

twin turbo rb30
Hey dude this is realy easy actually gtr ex manifolds t28 turbos, custom piping, after market ecu, cooler etc etc. nothing is imposible and it should cost a lot less than a gtr motor. I have seen a twin turbo rb30 using standard gtr turbos at 12lb and it went great.look at my name I have done it but a bit more to the extreme.

RB26 HEads
So if i got a RB26 HEad and the Twin-Turbo exhaust mani with the turbos i can do a Twin-turbo conversion? Thanks
twin turbo's
dude it won't fit.......I have rb26dett turbo's and manifolds, and you won't fit the 2 inline turbo's on factory manifolds. It has to be Custom exhaust manioflds. Ahem....for Sale rb26dett exhaust manifolds, $400 each. email me prowreck@hotmail.com
re: vl twin turbo
ALSOOOOO vlsick man......MAN the Nissan manufactured RB30E and RB30ET were FIRST sold in the HOLDEN VL not the skyline untill 1988. When Nissan used the engine after Holden decided the exchange rate to Japan wasn't working out.
The RB26dett can be bolted into the place of the rb30 with no probs, just change the Engine Sump. But i prefere 3ltrs and less engine managemeant crap. The "rb25det Neo" costs about $5000 for a half cutt and puts out almost as much Stock power (rb26dett), and has vvt.
