Walking the streets
The late afternoon in Harmony seemed it usual self, riddled with people going about their normal lives, most of them probably on their way home to their families before nightfall. It was sort of funny that most of the people didn't really know what went on throughout the streets in the dark, but hardly anyone wandered them in fear that they might just end up on the endless list of missing people.

Tasha was never really afraid of going out in the dark, even at a young age she'd play in her backyard after the sun had gone down, although he parents weren't too keen on it, one of those mutants could always have kidnapped her.

The Slayer shook her head as she let her mind forget about those two strange people. Tasha was no longer a little girl who needed her parents help, she hadn't even seen them for a while now, not like it was a big deal or anything. She was better off without them, they could only fill her mind with hatred for mutants, when in truth mutants weren't too bad. Some had even helped her get out of the dark chambers where Angelus had her captive, along with Spike and Angel.

With her parents out of her head Tasha began to think about other things, as she wandered through the city streets heading nowhere in particular. Tonight she'd probably just do the routine night patrol and maybe if she's lucky a good challenge might be out there waiting for her. And the good thing about tonight is that there is no more Watcher! Honestly, why does the Watcher's Council even bother giving her one when they know he won't be staying with her for too long. Watcher's were only needed for those who weren't strong enough, like potentials. A Slayer didn't need one of them, but that other worlds Slayer had one... Maybe she wasn't strong enough to be on her own, or it was just different in the other world or... there were many possibilities...

Raising her head to look up at the sky she let all of her thoughts drown away. Today had gone pretty well so far, she'd slept in as long as she liked, with no Watcher waking her up at the crack of dawn and she had done whatever she had wanted, before a night out patrolling.

Re: Walking the streets
There was a ripple through the air.. a power that only those truly gifted in the supernaterual could feel or sense, the Slayer being on of those selected few. A flicker of energy was soon seen, a swirl of dark purple black smoke swirling about in the center of the energy ring. A blast of energy erupted from the gapping vortex, throwing Tasha's body back, another ripple flowing through the air as the travellers from another world where spat out. Their bodies falling dangerously close to Tasha's, both managing to barely land on their feet, one standing right over Tasha's body.

"Eeba nurk ta lous?" The tone of his voice sounded pleading, but he realized she hadn't understood what he had said, the strangers eyes closing momentarily as he focused on breathing. His hand left reached out for her hand to help her up, a sign that he and the woman standing closely beside him were not going to harm her.

"Eeba.. ee-" He gave up, it hurt to talk, his right hand was clutching a wound, a broken piece of arrow sticking out between his bloodied fingers that where held closely over his right ribs. The angelic poison often used by Angel Slayers slowly seeping through his veins, the female, Kaira, peered from behind the man's shoulder, her hands delicatly grasping his arms in an effort to steady her twin brother.

"Will! Teeba gepo!" The part demon's gaze raised from the Slayer after his sisters panicked warning to a tall figure who seemed to have been expecting their arrival, the brown cloak that drapped around his body hiding the green skinned demon beneath it. The unfamiliar weakness that seemed to be flowing through his entire body was slowly crippling Will, his knees buckling underneath him at the site of the hunter sent by their father. The hand that had been stretched out for the Slayer recoiled from her, covering his eyes as a burning sensation flowed through them. His chocolate eyes began to be filled with a darkness until all that was seen was black, not white or brown as there was previously.

His breath was becoming strained, almost as if the air was becoming too foul for him to breath, Kaira began trying to tug him gently when it seemed as if he was about to black out. If he fainted then Kaira could not fight this creature on her own, they neeed to run, her chocolate brown eyes looked towards Tasha before clutching her brother tightly as the cloaked demon moved towards them, a silver dagger with a black goo seeming to have been smeared over the blade - another poison to kill the part demons who's mother was a heavenly creature.

Re: Walking the streets
The strange ripple that was weaving it's way through the air was easily sensed by the Slayer, sparking a dangerous curiosity to find out what it was. But before she could pick up where it was coming from the vortex had appeared, quickly throwing her body backwards, giving her no chance to stay upon her feet as she fell on her back. As she blinked a few times to adjust herself to the new situation her eyes lifted a little to look up at the man peering down at her, he spoke some strange and foreign words to her, something not from around here… but then again they weren’t from around here either.

She stared at the outstretched arm as she tried to figure out what they were, not human or some type of demon, though Tasha could sense some type of demon in them as well as something else… a more pleasant feeling…

The young looking man spoke again, but his words were still nothing to her but the look on his face was easy to read. He was in pain. The Slayers eyes lowered from the strangers face and to his chest and studied the wound for a short moment until the woman peering over the man’s shoulder distracted her. Tasha could sense that she was similar to the man, giving out the possibility that they might be related.

The strange woman spoke to her brother, more strange words being spilled into the open air, none of which she really understood, apart from ‘Will’ which could be the mans name, or then again it could mean the complete opposite. Noticing panic in her voice the Slayer quickly followed the gaze of Will and saw the cloaked demon. Looking back to the young man she watched as his knees buckled and his arm spring away from her, causing Tasha to get up by herself. Once on her feet she saw the look in the strange young woman’s eyes quickly before she attended to her brother.

As the demon began to make his way over to the twins, Tasha could tell that she would need to lend a hand in the situation. Besides, it was Tasha’s duty to protect those in need. Her eyes looked towards the dagger and the black goo, which didn’t have much meaning to the Slayer as of yet. It was easy to tell that the demon was here to bring these two dimension jumpers to and end, but if Tasha got her way it’d mean the end of someone else but them.

Tasha: “I bet you think you’re all tough and mysterious there, hidden under you cloak with a nice looking dagger like that.”

Her statement was only really intended on getting the demons attention and to get his mind off the twins. If he was quick, he’d figure out that she was the Slayer and if he was anything like other demons he’d try and go for the aim that almost every vampire had, to try and destroy the Slayer.

Tasha: “I’ll make you a deal, if you defeat me… You can have these two, fair enough?”

Even if the demon didn’t agree she was still going to go along with what she had planned. Taking no as an answer never really clicked with Tasha. Taking a few steps away from the twins, she smirked as her fists tightened and her body prepared for battle mode.

Re: Walking the streets
The demon's eyes peered towards the Slayer, two glowing red eyes seen from within the darkness of his hood, his gaze shifted towards the Turner twins. Will's body slumping slightly back into Kair's arms as she pulled him protectively into her embrace, her eyes glaring threateningly towards the demon.. daring him to try and harm her wounded twin.

"You seem to be fighting on the wrong side Slayer.. they are demons.. and I have been sent to vanquish them." The demons voice was deep, almost like a growl with every word, it didn't matter if he feared the Slayer.. he feared Belthazor and Lord Kayel far more then this human child. William's blackened eyes stared up towards the sky, it was blue.. where they where from it was more a shade of purple, the spoke human, both the twins understood the words being said.

"Why.. why does being part demon... instantly make us the bad guys?" Will's voice strained to be heard, looking up at Kaira who seemed to be leaning over him, a soft chuckle in his voice as he tried to lighten his sisters worries. It was a common thing William would say to those he first met, he however lost the pained smile as he gritted his teeth from the pain that was draining the life from his body.

"Keep you're poison to yourself!" Kaira blurted out now that she knew which language was spoken in this world, her mind racing with panic and worry. Her eyes flickered her his blade down to Will, watching the black orbs that where his once hansome brown eyes slowly disappearing behind closed eyelids. She begged for him to stay awake as the demon raised his blade towards Tasha, taking a moment before he lunged towards her, ready to run her through with his weapon.

Re: Walking the streets
(OOC- I wasn’t sure on what you really wanted me to do with the demon… Tasha: Lemme kill iiiit!!! …*Pushes her out of the way* And sorry it’s short, but I gotta get ready because we’re going out somewhere for tea. *Will be sure to get something expensive to eat*:evil )

"You seem to be fighting on the wrong side Slayer.. they are demons.. and I have been sent to vanquish them." The Slayer's eyebrows raised a little at the demons comment. Demons out to get demons? It almost seemed like some twisted soap opera, hey maybe something like this aired in the underworld. Tasha just shook her head as a reply, how many times had a demon said something like that to her? It was getting pretty old, worse than some pick-up lines guys had used on her.

"Keep you're poison to yourself!" So that's what's on the blade that the nice friendly demon was holding. Tasha looked over to the Turner twins for the shortest moment making sure the male was still alive. He was still hanging on but needed some medical help, then looking back towards the demon before it lunged towards her. About time a challenge showed up, vampires were just getting too easy these days.

If she wasn’t a Slayer and just some ordinary human she wouldn’t have been able to dodge the demon the way she just did. Before it could spin around and charge back at her Tasha looked around her for something that she might be able to use as a weapon but nothing seemed to show itself as of yet. So, it looked as if it was Tasha verus the demon with the poison blade, but it’s not as if she couldn’t handle herself in this battle. The tougher the battle to sweeter the victory.

Tasha: "Try and get him outta here!"

She called out to Kaira, not having time to think that she might not be able to move him. She just wanted them to get out of the way incase something happened, and so they had a chance to escape. Wether or not they would take the chance was another question altogether. Tasha slowly stepped a little further away from the twins, keeping her eyes focused on the demons red eyes as if she was trying to read his next move.

Re: Walking the streets
(ooc- *Laughs at Loza getting so full after she ate so much* :evil )

The female part demon glanced over towards the strange girl.. she was going to fight that creature? Kaira's eyes - just like her brother and any demon or heavenly creature could see or sense - caught sight of the power within the girl. here was a quick glance towards the cloaked demon before she tried to help William to his feet, the man however only seemed to gasp in more pain at the movement.

"You must stand William, please.. Toki lana Eeba." But her words did little help to get him to find his own feet, the half angel's now pitch black eyes barely managing to stay open. Just when Kaira thought she got Will to his feet, his knees buchkled beneath him once again and both part demons fell to their knees.

"It has been over a century Kaira.. we where just children.. what harm does he see in us?" Will's pained voice sounded grief striken as his sister once again took him into her embrace, his body leaning forwards into hers as best he could with out aggrivating his wound any further.

"Kaira? ...It's very cold in this Dimension." Another worried look struck her face as her lightly tanned hand pressed tenderly against her twins burning forehead. She stared into William's unnatural black orbs, feeling his life slowly slipping away from within him.

The demon smirked within his hood.. if he stalled the Slayer long enough, perhaps one of the twins would die, leaving the other a much easier target for him or the next assassin sent after them. He raised his dagger, taking a step back yet still ready to lung forward once again should she consider taking the twins and running.

Re: Walking the streets
The Slayer sent a smirk right back at the demon as it raised it's dagger. Now was the time that the fun would begin, as the end of the demons time drew closer...

Tasha: "C'mon, give me your best shot!"

She called out in a challenging tone, her blood flowing with confidence as she took a step forward. If the demon wasn't going to come to her, Tasha would go to him. But the single step was enough to make it charge towards her, the demon seemed to show more speed than it had previously, convincing Tasha that conflict was the only option.

As the demon came closer the Slayer remained still, focusing her mind on nothing else other than defeating the demon. With the demon two metres in front of her, still charging Tasha raised her leg, aiming solely for the demons forearm in hopes of it dropping his dagger. That was one thing she loved about these situations, whoever she was battling wether it be vampire, demon or human, they always dropped their weapon, just like this demon… didn’t?

With both feet back on the ground Tasha took a step back, as the demon smirked again. He had obviously had a good hold of the dagger not to drop it. The red eyes glowed back towards the Slayers, before it jumped almost frog-like towards her, stabbing the air as Tasha used her speed and reflexes to dodge the dagger. Kaira had told the demon to keep him poison to himself, and Tasha didn’t mind if he did as he was told.

With every jab into the air, Tasha took down mental notes as she studied it’s movement. Soon enough she was able to predict it’s next move, so this time she didn’t bother to dodge the dagger and simply raised her left arm up, garbing hold of the demons forearm. It was a bit of a struggle, as the demon began to use both his hands to try and dig the dagger into Tasha’s chest.

With the blade only centimetres from her chest the Slayers right arm reached up, whacking the demons left arm causing him to left go of his right arm, giving Tasha less pressure on her own arm. Finally she left go of the demons right arm as she quickly dodged the blade, a slight breeze from the speed of the demons movement swept past the left side of her body. There was no time to stand still as she pivoted around, grabbing hold of the demons right arm once again and pulling it up behind his back.

Tasha: "This is your best?"

The Slayer spoke amused to the demon, a light growl emerging from the hood adding a smirk to her face. Pulling the arm further up the demons arm, as well as twisting it the, demons only chance of getting free was to take a jab with the dagger with his free arm, which gave the chance Tasha wanted. As the free arm swung backwards she let go of the arm she had hold of and quickly held the other arm. Her right hand quickly freeing the dagger from the demons grasp and into her own.

Before she could let the demon turn around she jumped down to a crouching position and kicked her right foot along the ground and uner the demon, causing him to topple over. Tasha quickly jumped up and leaned over the demon, with her left foot laid upon it’s chest, her hand playing with the blade as a form of mockery.

Tasha: "I have to say, it was fun while it lasted but all good things must come to an end!"

With that, her left hand cupped over her right and she tightened her grip on the dagger and stabbed it straight into the demons chest once, before quickly adding another incase the first didn’t work. The demon released a high pitched scream as its final words, before it’s body slowly became engulfed in flames.

Getting back up to her feet, Tasha brushed herself off before looking back over to the twins who were yet to leave. Hearing the sound of metal dropping onto the concrete she turned around and looked at the dagger surrounded in ashes. Bending over she picked up the dagger and placed it between her belt and jeans, if she was going to help the twins get to somewhere sae she may as well keep a weapon incase someone else tried something.

Tasha: "I’d offer to show you the way to the hospital, but I sense that’s outta the question. Do you have somewhere you can go where you can be healed? If not I can take you to the Watcher’s Council, not the best bunch of people but at least they have something to treat the guy."

She said to Karia as she made her way over to both the twins, her voice rushed as she waited for a quick reply, knowing that if Will didn’t get some medical attention soon he’d be in more trouble than he already was in.

Re: Walking the streets
The half Angels grasp on his sister grew slightly stronger as he gritted his teeth, Kaira looked up at the girl who had handled that demon very well, she appeared strong.. like William from what she could tell.

"We have no place we belong here, though it is our home we know no one from this world.. please.. help my brother, he has a good soul." Her plea had an old accent to it, a smooth and silky tone that was full of worry and concern, her eyes dropping back down to William before once again trying to help him to his feet. The pain his breathing was easily heard, his struggle to help balance himself resulting in even more pain coursing through his veins. It was as if his blood was burning him, yet at the same time he has never been so cold in his life. The chill he felt began to be seen in his body, the trembles in his hands and legs making it more difficult for him to stand.

"Why will.. Belthazor not let us be?" Her brother demanded between gasping breaths and clenched teeth, getting more upset at his condistion because he has never been ill before and he didn't understand just what would happen should he not get treatment soon. But Kaira ignored his question as she looked towards Tasha, ready for her to lead the way, one of William's hands began trying to remove the stub of arrow that was starting to burn more then ever, but Kaira's hand kept him from pulling it free of his body, knowing it would only worsen the wound.

Re: Walking the streets
(OOC- … And to think I called the post before short *before she added some more to it* … Then what’s this?! *Looks down and shakes head*)

The name Belthazor sounded familiar to the young Slayer, but she couldn't quite pin-point who it was apart from figuring out that it was some type of demon. She probably heard it from another demon before or something. Tasha could always ask one of the twins later for now wasn't the right time to ask such a question. She gave a quick glance towards the wounded male before looking back towards his sister.

Tasha: “Alright, let’s get a move on.”

She said as she began leading the way. Her first few steps were rather fast and if she kept them up for too long the twins would trail too far behind to even follow after her, so she waited for a short while until they caught up to her. After continuing to lead the way, Tasha walked with slower steps.
