Welcome Gae as Facilitator to Friendhip Section
Dear All,

Our very much loved, longtime member of the online and Boston support group, Gae, has agreed to be the facilitator of the Friendship section.

The friendship section was created as a place for members to go to catch up on social stuff. In our new design of forums we tried to designate sections for areas of support, education, and social exchanges(friendship section). We felt designated sections would make the board more user friendly and help others get directly to their need of the day.

Please remember to meet up with old friends in the friendship section. Gae is looking forward to seeing you there.

Re: Welcome Gae as Facilitator to Friendhip Section
Welcome my good friend Gae as facilitator of this Friendship Forum. I can think of no one more caring than Gae and I know that she will do an outstanding job here.

Maybe we could get Kerri in Chicago to post again about her John Deer Tractor and about bumper cars Gae?

Wish you the very best Gae,
Mikey

Very, very cool Gae. Thanks so much for taking this on. What a wonderful choice.

And, Mikey. I wonder about Kerry and her mom, too!

Re: Welcome Gae as Facilitator to Friendhip Section
Thank you so much Frances for that lovely introduction!

It is my hope that we can have some 'fun' interaction at this forum, catching up with things that members would like to share going on in their lives (not just this darn nagging UVEITIS)! It can be anything from funny stuff their kids (or pets) are up to, sharing great recipes, holiday celebrations, etc.. Bring it on! Start a topic and anyone can jump in.:D

Thanks Mike and Liz....I really appreciate the support coming from you guys!

My best,
Gae

This could be fun lol
A new topic, huh? lol hmmmmmmmmmmmm
I think I should be sipping on a margarita or something. Tequilia sounds good, doesn't Mike? LOL

I got a topic, Gae. Where is the next vacation spot that everyone is saving up for? Could be two years down the road, whatever....I've been saving change for two years, and I want to go back to Hawaii.

O.k., next....:lol (hides tequilia bottle)

Way to go Gae! I like this forum :D

Re: Welcome Gae as Facilitator to Friendhip Section
Hmmmmm, vacation spot.....still saving for a road trip further north to Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada. It's a cute little university town, right outside Nova Scotia. My niece lives there with her two beautiful kids. I saw them last at her Dad's funeral, 1 1/2 yrs. ago, in my sister's hometown of Grand Falls, N.B. We owe them a visit, as they were here, in R.I., almost 3 yrs. ago.

There is a beautiful wildlife preserve there and they are close enough to Nova Scotia for us to do some sight-seeing there. It sounds like we have to shoot for springtime now, especially now that I have to get infusions every week for awhile.:\

Hawaii is definately a different kind of beautiful. The climate is so attractive in itself, besides the lovely beaches, lush landscapes, exotic flowers, etc.....let's not forget the tropical drinks!:rollin I hope you get there again soon Renee'. Will you be taking the family, or just the two of you? I bet the airfair is much less from the west coast. Lucky dogs!!

I'm afraid margarita's are off my diet for now.:\ Way too many calories and I just can't drink it without the salted rim.:lol Not a good choice on steroids.:eek I'm back to gin/tonic's (lots of lime), though just once in a while. Now that I'm back on MTX too, I've gotta watch the liver...:\

Well, I'll be waiting to see you post when the count down begins for Hawaii!

My best,
Gae
