they did start to make a sequil but they ran out of money 3/4 of the way through so unless there making a newer movie there will be no sequil.but im sure you could find a copy of the unfinished sequil on the net if your lucky. if you find it e-mail me where you found it my e-mail adress is "stachura_k@hotmail.com"

it was to be called 'Home Brew'.

It's still quite possibly in the works, after the court case, they say.

ok everyone, the DVD was released on October 1, 2002
Second of all, there is a sequal to Strange Brew. It's called "Home Brew". Here are some links, on these 2 websites you can find out all the information on the movie, what it's about, all that good stuff. It doesn't say when it's coming out though. I"ll keep looking around.

"Home Brew" Goes Flat
Sorry to break the news to this board (anybody here, eh?), but "Home Brew" is a dead project for the foreseeable future. According to an interview with Dave Thomas (mostly regarding the movie he's currently filming in Edmonton), he lost 1.5 million (US) dollars of his own money trying to get "Home Brew" off the ground.

I do think the animated series is still in the works, but I have never seen any info explaining why the "pilot" included on the DVD has Bob voiced by somebody else instead of Rick Moranis. All info I've read says Moranis will be involved in the cartoon should it ever hit real production. Keep your earmuffs crossed, eh?
