Geez... I see the pics, but where's the write-up, you slacker?!

Just kiddin...
Ummm... let's see. I'll give it a shot, just for fun:
Friday, right around noon I arrived in Uwharrie, only to find that John had beaten me there (for once). Shortly after, Darrell and his nephew, Josh showed up. We all kinda sat around talking, setting up tents and such the rest of the afternoon until Mark made it there. We were all kinda relieved to see the guys from CORE (Keith's CORE... not the Carolina one) show up, only to learn that Keith would not be joining them this time. Karen made her way to camp as well that evening. Friday was pretty much all socializing with old friends and meeting new ones.
Saturday morning we all got up early to head to the Outpost for breakfast and then to Hunt Camp to find out what all we were going to be doing for the day. John and I were sent to load up fence posts and rails in his truck, then joined the others on Dickey Bell to complete more of the fencing on that trail that we didn't get to in October. We had some exciting events while there working. First, we got to watch a father who had his 8 year old son riding with him on his ATV roll the ATV on top of himself and his son. Thankfully, both were ok; although the father was a little shaken up. That incident led to some rerouting of existing fencing to open up a bypass so that hopefully an accident like that wouldn't happen again. Shortly after that, the girl covered in mud on the atv in one of John's picture's came by leading to comments like "That is the reason why we drive our trucks!" We went on to another part of the trail after being stuck in our parking spots on the trail for a while due to a traffic jam of sorts where we had spent the morning working. Once it cleared up, Karen had to try to get her blazer back out of where she parked it... which proved to be quite an experience, as you can see in the pictures. As we finished up the rest of our work for the day and we headed out of the trails, we were met by Jeremy and his son... which led to us backing down the trail back to where we'd all been working. While we all conversed, we watched a dirt bike wreck on the way up the trail. Thankfully, again, the rider was not hurt, though the dirt bike received some damage. Eventually we all got out of there and headed back to camp for a late lunch. Mark rode with me in my blazer to take the seats I'd picked up in Cleveland to Darrell and Karen's campsite. We stayed there for a while and chatted, then stopped to visit Terry Morfield (sorry if the name isn't spelled right) and his wife. Then Janet and Bruce showed up and mentioned a night ride... I think I just about drug Mark out of there and back to our site cause I wanted to go! We got everyone together and headed out. We got back late and ate a late dinner and settled in around the campfire as usual after talking with the CORE (Keith's) group about how their day had been.
Sunday morning I think we all got a slow start, but we got together and out on the trails to finish up some of the fencing. Once we were done with the work, John and I joined a few of the guys from the CORE (Carolina) group with their Jeeps and headed to Rocky Mount. After playing there for a while, we went back to camp, because time was getting short. We rounded up some people so that Karen and I could get pics of our blazers on this rock (which is not THE Kodak rock, but has been referred to as Kodak Rock before). We made a quick trip up the trail, Karen and I each posed for the pics (ok, so Karen posed and I hid) and then we hurried back to camp as it was time for many of us to head home. This is always the worst part for me. I hate saying my goodbyes and leaving Uwharrie behind!
***Ok... I may have screwed up something or left things out, but this is the best as I can remember at 1AM... lol. Feel free to correct me or add to what I've said!
