Xavier's Office
It wasn't hard to pick up on the new arrivels, but Xaiver hadn't bothered calling them, after all, what better way then being brought up by one of the X-Men themselves, and a student aswell.
If only all new students where welcomed so nicely..pity the boy was so hesitent in accepting their help. It may take time for this boy's past wounds to heal...
Xavier peered out his window as he waited for the group to arrive in his office, his eyes focusing on the horizon, watching something...or someone that the eyes can not see.
After a moment he turned around, scanning over the papers piled neatly on his desk, he had been greatly distracted since he had returned from the recent mission and hadn't had the time to mark any of the students papers.
He'd have to have the X-Men keep a closer eye on Agamemnon Corporation..
As he thought, he began going over the papers, at the same time as all this, he still manages to check and make sure that Connor and Madison along with their guest where alright.
Once this meeting was over, he'd need to have a talk with Bobby, Rogue and Wolverine..
And on that thought there was a soft rapping on the large wooden door that entered into his office. The handle moved and the door opened to reveal Bobby, with his usual big smile on his face;
"Morning Professor I have a couple of new students here that will need to speak to you, no doubt you already no that." Bobby's smile widened, "Shall i send them in together, or do you want to speak to them seperately? Or later even if you are busy."
Bobby new the Professor was never to busy to talk to new students, it was his calling to help others, but he liked to ask.....

Murray stood rather silently just inside the Professor's office. He was certain it would be better to end up staying around and knew that helping Tempest settle in would be an appreciated effort.
Yet even still the atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable and Murray wasn't sure that he wanted to stick around, no matter how curious he was about Tempest's fate and that of the girl. He decided that it was best however to hang around for at least a little while before making his exit.

Placing down the crisp sheet of paper in his fingers, Xavier's eyes gazed up towards Bobby, his expression instantly lightend up and a warm smile spread across the Professors face.
Xavier:"Uh yes, please, send them both in."
Pausing, he waited till Bobby turned to leave before speaking up again.
Xavier:"Oh, and before you go, I'd like to have a word with you, Rogue, Storm and Kurt, if you could go get them for me while I talk with our new guests I'd very much appreciate it. Oh and if you could, ask Murry if he'd go bring Connor here as well, I'd like to also have a word with those two."
Shifting the small piles of paper to the side, Charles made sure his desk was in a much cleaner state for his guests, after all, how can one insist others to be tidy when he was not always tidy himself?
Glancing about proudly at his office he looked back over towards Bobby and gave a slight nod.

Bobby smiled at the professor and walked from his office turning to the people waiting outside;
"Ok you two, Professor Xavier is ready to see you, go on in. Murray, can you go and get Connor for us, the Professor Xavier wishes to speak to you two as well once he's done with the new arrivals. Ill see you back here, I just need to go and get Storm, Rogue and Nightcrawler as well, seems Prof. X has got alot to say." Bobby grinned and then set off back down the corridor to find his friends....
Hesitantly, Tempest passed Robert and entered the Professor's office.
The neatness was striking - impressing and frightening in one.
"Good morning, Sir" , Kane said politely and stepped aside to let Shamila come in as well.
"Tempest is what they used to call me... and I'd prefer to stick with that for now. The Morlocks referred me here as I want to gain control over my
powers..."
Not knowing what else to say or what was expected from him, he didn't say anything else.
*Better speak too little than start babbling*
Would Xavier read his thoughts and memories? To which degree was he able to do so? Would he find something he didn't like?
*I ask you to leave my mind!* , Tempest thought as intense as he could, just in case the telepath had entered uninvited.

Watching as his guests moved into his office, Xavier motioned them to come in and take a seat.
Xavier:"Those who choose to have codes names choose them of their own free will. If Tempest is what you desire, I shall make sure we add that in your files."
Giving a soft smile, Xavier looked from the girl to the boy and then back towards Kane as he seemed to direct his thoughts unknowingly into Xavier's mind.
Most students or others aware of Xavier's powers often worried he'd scan their memories and read their minds, but he flashed a warm assuring smile as he attpemted to set Tempests fears aside.
Xavier:"I do not take lightly upon intruding into the minds of my students, if you are in danger, or if you call to me, I shall hear you, but I prefer to judge a person on their actions, not on the secrets of their past."
He took a deep breath, pulling out two student application sheets, but placing them infront of himself.
Xavier:"As I'm sure you're both very much aware, you've entered Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, also known amongst the students as...Mutant High."
He gave another warm friendly smile as he sat back in his wheel chair.
Xavier:"Allow me to lay down the rules.."
Although he still appeared friendly and polite, there was a strong sense of leadership and command radiating from his very being. Everything he did and said seemed to demand respect, not just for him but for all those around him, teachers and students alike.
Xavier:"You are under no reasons what so ever to mention to outsiders the true nature of this school, respect your teachers and the other students, most of all, don't be afriad to ask for help, that's why we're here, to help each other."
He watched them for a moment, not appearing to be judging or summing them, simply watching, as if waiting for questions or complaints.
Xavier:"You're free to stay for as long as you like...or leave whenever you want. Before we continue on there's something I need to know from the two of you."
Once again he looked from one to the other..
Xavier:"...Are you sure this where you want to be?"
He leaned slightly forwards, his smile still faintly seen on his serious face.

Teleporting into the hall, Kurt peers about, moving towards the door but waiting outside.
He glanced about, waiting for the others to arrive and not daring to enter the office since he could hear muffled voices on the other side.
Kurt:"Vonder what's happening.."
Kurt asked himself as he waited, Logan's son appeared just down the hall, also walking towards Xavier's office, Kurt gave a friendly wave but the boy seemed rather unhappy about something...
Kurt couldn't blame him, after what Connor had just been threw.
Kurt:"Guten Tag!"
He said happily, but Connor didn't reply, he just grumpliy stood by the door and joined Nightcrawler in waiting.

Tempest had listened to the Professor's words quietly and nodded at his question.
"Yes. That's the only possibility... the only chance I've got. Besides" , he smirked, "'m used to harder living conditions than respect and the keeping of
secrets... and can think of worse things than regular meals and a place to sleep without having to fear some anti-mutant guys walkin' to me..."
*...having to fear them and the consequences FOR them...* he went on mentally.
"Hell, Storm, wait up!" Panting exaggeratedly, Rogue caught up to her friend.
"You're a bad actress! Besides, I know your stamina so don't try to fool me, girl" Ororo said with a reproving look but jokingly.
"Yeah right, look who's talkin' " the auburn-haired contered sarcastically. "Hey ya two, whassup? Ain't we gonna go in to the Prof?"

Murray entered the waiting area just behind Connor.
He felt slightlyanxious and out of place among the adults, his teachers and trainers. Overall Murray had never been comfortable in groups and this certainly didn't help in any way.
He paced the hall, willing himself to relax as he waited.

Kurt looked over the different faces as he spoke.
Kurt:"He's in a meeting right now, ze Professor wouldn't keep us vaiting long."
He said convincingly, thuogh he wasn't really sure, his tail tapped against the wall accidently, he looked back and stared at it for a moment before taking a step away from the wall.
Kurt:"Any ideas on vhat ze meeting ist about?"
He asked eagerly, all the X-Men knew about a special meeting the Professor was going to hold later that day, maybe it had something to do with that? But they weren't allowed to discuss it with Students, and since there where students about he couldn't ask any questions.
He crouched low, resting his elbows on his knees, his tail curling about his feet in an attempt to keep it out of the way.
Bobby came walking at a high pace back down the corridor, he grinned as he saw all but one of the required people there waiting to talk to the professor;
"Hey guys." Bobby said cheerfully, "Iv just seen Wolverine, he should be here soon."
The distinct feeling of slightly cooler air wafted through the group as Bobby walked up to them, still grinning.
"Rogue, hey, how've you been, aint seen you for a while."
Bobby looked at his long-time friend, his smiled changed, but only very slightly, a change that only Rogue would notice as a smile between them, as friends of a long time.....

Faked anger appeared on Rogue's face as she started to yell at Bobby. "Yeah, but I HEARD ya! All the freakin' night long, Frosty, the WHOLE night!! I was so desperate to sleep in the kitchen. The KITCHEN!!! Ya need to be punished!" With a dangerous sparkle in her eyes, the auburnhaired took off a glove and approached Iceman.
"The k-i-t-c-h-e-n! Where everyone could see my messed up hair and my visage before I could draw me a face" she whined raising a hand as to touch his skin.
With a boyish grin, she suddenly jumped at Robert and pressed him down while sitting on his stomach. In triumph, Rogue put the glove back on and looked sternly in Iceman's eyes. "Beg for mercy, sugah, or the Prof'll see you in THAT position!"
Ororo took a breath as to express her disapprovement but released it with a sigh, shaking her head in disbelief.
"Never tell anyone how old you really are, Rogue" she said calmly but with an amused sparkle in her eyes. *It's good to have some people around who raise the mood. The Goddess knows what we'll have to face in the future...*
"I don't have the faintest idea, Kurt... but maybe it's something organizational as several new students arrived lately... or there is a mission we're supposed to go on."
Still holding Bobby down, Rogue grinned even broader. "'d be cool to be on a mission again. 's been a while and I could do with some trainin'" and with a side glance at Connor she added in her best English suddenly realizing how strange it would appear to the rather new member of the X-Men: "Although fighting is neither fun nor the only solution. And Iceman and I are normally very serious people. It's the weather... April, you know?" She shrugged implying she herself had no idea what she was talking about and smirked back at Bobby. "Sooo....?"
(OOC: Sorry if it got a bit too stupid but I just couldn't help it. Normally I've got rather serious characters so I gonna abuse Rogue for some silly behavior from time to time... that is if you have nothing against it...?)

Shamilar looked over the proffessor and her surroundings she had never been in a place like this it excited her and at the same time scared her a little bit.
"Yeh Im gonna stay for a bit least till I found out if this place is me......btw Prof Im sure you prob already know my name but I like to be formal my names Shalimar Creed some people just call me Vulpine."
She reached out her hand waiting for Xavier to return the handshake at the same time she listened to what was going on outside.

he liked what she saw so far abroad here but knew they might know a little about her.

Bobby watched as Rogue turned her attention away from him, but still sat down on his stomach. With her attention away from him he clenched his hand into a fist, forming lots of little pieces of ice, and in an instant he had grabbed the back of Rogues top and thrown the icey cold pieces down her back. She instantly jumped up, trying to shake the ice out of the back of her top;
"Now Rogue, dont mess with me," He smirked as he got up, ready to respond to anything she had, "Oh, and i DONT snore, its all in your mind. Now calm dow, were here on something important aren't we."
Bobby caught Kurt's eyes, who was watching with an odd expression, Bobby winked at him still with the friendly smirk, he was just messing.....

"Tonight, I'll get me some recorder thingy, tape your happy sleepin' sounds and let ya listen to it... if the mic survives that is!" Rogue announced gravely with a glare, searching for a mean little piece of ice in a corner of her clothes she couldn't reach.
"Ha! Melted!" She grinned in triumph over the evil frozen water. "But look whatcha done... I could participate in some wet t-shirt contest... and win, of course"
Her grin became teasing. "Oh yeah, right. We've gotta wait in front of a door! It's our fate and we've gotta succeed in... standing."
It was obvious that both were just kidding, playing a silly old game with neither rules nor sense but loads of fun.
Waiting for her wet bodysuit to dry, Rogue leaned against the wall becoming more serious. "I really wonder what's it about though. Dunno whether the group's strong enough yet... to defeat some big bad and all. Did anyone of you ever think of retirin' of some kind? I mean, sure, we're not really 'old' and Prof X is still fightin' his very own battles though being... ancient, but still... If the old team - the four of us, Wolve, Jean, Cyc etc - quitted... would the younger students be able to keep on fighting without having real mission experience? Maybe we should take more studs with us. We would have to keep an eye on them but it would prepare them better than the Danger Room, I guess..."
Storm was distracted of some sort. There was no particular reason besides her dislike of waiting.
"Might be... but what if a student would get badly wounded... or killed? We would never be able to forgive ourselves"

Murray continued to pace anxiously before finally slumping down in a chair just outside the office with an exaggerated sigh. The waiting was killing him as was the group of people. He felt more and more out of place as X-men twice his age played with eachother like high schoolers and he sat alone in the corner.
He'd always liked Bobby and Rogue but didn't often see them together, let alone like this. Murray wondered if he should talk to someone after all this was over. He was worrying more and more that he might actually have a phobia of crowds and knew that he should make sure it was just a dislike and nothing serious. For the moment he'd just have to stick it out.

Xavier gave a small nod as he handed them some papers.
Xavier:"Very well, those are your school maps, class timetable and the different classes you can attend. Now if you excuse me, I'm afriad some of my students and teachers are waiting outside."
Pausing for a moment to give them a chance to collect the papers he handed them, he then called out to the others waiting outside.
Xavier:"Enter!"
Conner hearing easily picked up the call, he ignored the mock speech Rogue had given, not at all in the mood for their silly behavor. Logan's son reaches out and twists the handle, opening the door and entering the office. He glanced over at the white haired boy and the girl, his power absorbing abilities easily picking up on their mutant gene.
Kurt:"Guten Tag Professor."
The german acrobat said with a wide friendly fanged grin and a wave with his white gloved three fingered hand.
Professor:"Unfortunatly Logan's been detained on urgent business, we'll continue without him."
Kurt looked back over at Rogue curiously, but then back at Connor as the young Wolverine seemed to grumpily take a seat before the Professor.
Xavier looked over at the two knew students still with his friendly smile.
Xavier:"Your rooms are ready, just follow your maps to the dorm and then feel free to explore the school."
Kurt looked over at them and gave a fanged smile, but then focused on Murry who seemed very hesitent in joining the group, sure he was with them, but he still seemed so distant.
Kurt:"Vas is ze matter?"
Meanwhile Xavier was determind to get right down to business
Xavier:"Listen up, today, as I'm sure most of you are aware, a team of us went on a mission to retreive both Connor and his sister. This sudden awareness of illegal mutant experimentations has made me decide to bring back the old team stractures."
Long ago, when the X-Men where younger, the school had divided into teams, but as many left and others grew old, the teams slowly disappeared.
Xavier:"I think now's the right time to bring them back, I've already sorted the students and teachers into teams."
He looked over their faces, reading their expressions with intrest.
Xavier:"Storm, you're incharge of Gold Strike force once again, these are your members.."
He pushed forward slightly a sheet of paper before continuing.
Xavier:"Bobby...you're in charge of the Silver Strike Force, Rogue will be 2nd in command, these are your students."
Xavier held up their paper and Kurt took it, passing it onto Bobby.
Xavier:"And Kurt.."
Kurt turned around with an obvious look of suprise, though it quickly disappeared.
Xavier:"You're leading Blue Strik Force."
Kurt:"Wouldn't Wolverine be.."
Xavier:"He's 2nd in Charge, your list."
The Professor intrupted and handed Kurt his list of students, the blue furred mutant glanced over the names he had just become responsible for, needless to say he was very anxious suddenly and glanced back up at the Professor, then over at Murray...one of Nightcrawlers members...
Xavier:"We'll hold a Team meeting after this, that way you'll all be able to introduce yourselves to your new team members, Any Questions?"
Connor:"Why am I here?"
He intrupted, Xavier looked over at him with a half smile.
Xavier:"I'd like to talk with you and Murray once the others leave."
He gave Murray an encouraging smile before focusing back at his X-Men.

Murray looked curiously up at the Professor and then at Connor. They wanted to see him? He sure hoped this wasn't about his behavior earlier and his reluctance to let Tempest and Vulpine into see him.
His attention turned back to the blue mutant and he half smiled, which was as much of a smile as he ever showed. "It's nothing, I'm just not used to crowds," Murray said, remembering his first day at the institute when he had begged for a room to himself. Roommates were not his idea of fun. Luckily with his powers that were still not entirely under control he had been granted a room to himself.
The whole idea of teams that the Professor had mentionned wasn't exactly a welcome thought either. Murray depended on and trusted only himself, to work with others didn't seem like the greatest prize to be won.
He waited for the others to file out, incredibly curious about just what it was that Xavier wanted to say to him and Connor.

Bobby took the piece of paper and quickly glanced at the names that had been printed onto it. He smiled as he skim-read the list of people on his team, especially when he saw Rogue was in 'his' team. He looked up;
"Thanks Professor, I won't let you down, and im sure all of the team will complement each other."
Bobby switched his look back to Rogue and smirked;
"Hey, look your on my team." Bobby grinned at the young woman, he was looking forward to workin with Rogue again, and these others, he couldn't wait to meet them all.....

Rogue hadn't said anything during the Professor's speech. Not as she heard she'd be second in command which was something rather new and exciting for her, not even realizing she'd be able to team up with Bobby again.
The auburn-haired was totally aware of the fact that some people would expect her to burst in happy babbling about the fun it would be and similar. Even she herself expected it.
However, Rogue just stood there, nodded seriously and glanced at the list Bobby held in his hands. Calmly, she turned to Xavier still without a smile. „Gimme a yell when the meeting's starting, will ya? I'll be somewhere outside...“
*Nothing serious, Professor... I just need to think.* she thought intensely. After all those years she knew Xavier's powers like her own and was absolutely certain he would catch the mental note.
„Cya later, sugah“ the mutant said quietly placing a gloved hand on Iceman's shoulder and added with a half-smile „and don't ya get a big head, being in charge and all“
Throwing her mane back, she left the office.
Storm took her list and went through the names. „I won't disappoint you, Professor.“ She said silently.
Having finished the lecture, Ororo frowned. „Those are basically inexperienced students Charles. It's a risk, you know that...“ Her tone made absolutely clear she didn't criticize his decision and would accept it. However, being her responsible self, she had to state her doubts.
Tempest left the office shortly after the crowd had entered. Muttering a „thank you“, he passed Xavier's desk and walked out, trying to orientate with the help of the map...
