Xavier's Office...Honey I'm Home! (Jack and Xavier)
Jack Harmony burst into Charles Xavier's Office just as he always had when he had been teaching at the school, no knocking, no appointment and no regard for the rules or for the Professor's privacy.
He was back and everyone should move out of his way or switch everything to accomidate him. That was Jack's attitude and although he seemed a little more relaxed than usual, not tensely counting money or checking up on sports games as he had been the last time he was here with was clear he hadn't changed much.
Jack dropped his one bag, hardly bigger than a backpack on the floor next to Xavier's desk.
"Honey I'm home," Jack said lightheartedly and waited for Xavier's response, more curious about what it would be than about anything he had ever been curious about. Now this was reality television.

Xavier looked up as Jack burst into his office, although he was distracted with everything going on, he also knew that Rogue and Bobby wanted him down in the war room, however Jean was there and she could handle things.
He gave a faint smile and motioned for Jack to take a seat if he wished to, the welcoming smile on the Professor's face quickly pushing aside the thoughts that worried him.
Xavier:"Jack, it's good to see you again my old friend, how have things been?"

Jack smiled and shrugged as he took the nearest chair and lay back, one foot absentmindedly draped over the desk in a relaxed fashion.
"Great, everything's been great. You know the Yankees just swept their last home game series?" Jack asked then brushed his question off. "Probably not. I've been fine though, chopping wood like a regular lumberjack and all. How's the school Charles, and my old buddy Logan?"

After a few moments of privet thoughts, Xavier spoke.
Xavier:"Both have seen better days.."
He began, hinting that Jack was about to be informed of some dire happenings that have recently taken place.
Xavier:"Logan's kids, Madison and Connor, both where taken, though we have go them back and they are safly in the school grounds, Logan wasn't too happy about that, as you could imagen.
And as far as the school goes, 4 of our students are currently missing, presumed to be in another dimension, most of the team is working on ways of trying to bring them back, unfortuantly that isn't going so well."
He allowed the information to sink into his old friend before going on.
Xavier:"I apologise you're arrival can't be with a more pleasent welcoming."

Jack waved off the apology. "Forget it Charles. I caused alot of trouble in my day. Maybe it's just karma if you believe in that sort of thing. Either way you helped me so it's my turn. If you need anything just say the word."
Jack didn't say anything about Logan's kids but his grim expression seemed entirely different from his easygoing tone. He'd met them once or twice, not often but they'd seemed like good kids. As for the missing four...well that wasn't good news either and it could get worse once he knew who they were.
"We'll find a way Charles, you always do. I'm sure the kids will be back soon. Logan's kids weren't hurt were they?" Jack asked, finally finding the inner courage to ask. He could imagine how livid Logan would be if they had been injured.

Letting out a deep breath which suggested he had a lot of things on his mind which he had to sort out, the Professor gave Jack a curious look for a moment.
Xavier:"So what are your plans Jack...keen on staying around for a while? I'm sure we could use the extra help and Logan could use the extra support of an old friend. With all the happenings going on, most of the X-Men are busy, leaving a lot of the students without a teacher.."
He hinted the offering of a position with a faint smile.

A shadow of a smile crossed Jack's face. "Why Professor are you offering me a job? Not afraid I'm gonna run off on you again?"
The teasing grin left his face though and Jack became entirely serious. "I'm sorry 'bout Logan's kids. He's had enough to go through without this. When I came down I brought my bags. I kind of hoped you'd have an openning. I'm up for it if you think the kids can handle someone like me right about now."

He gave a friendly smile as he handed the mutant a key.
Xavier:"I believe there's an office ready for you, I'll make sure to have Kurt drop off your student files as well as your class list and activities, if you want or need anything, don't hesitate to ask."

The Professor gave a thoughtful look as his mind wondered about Logan, but then focused down on the papers he was marking from his last class.
Xavier:"I'm sure he could use the company when he returns."
