Zero consequences
Victoria smiled down at the crowd from the top level of the exclusive nightclub. With her father's money she was on top of the world, and she could get in anywhere she wanted. Having spent the entire afternoon at a mall Victoria had found herself growing tired of shopping and had told the driver to take her here, her other favourite place in the city. If nothing else she could gaze down at cute boys or judge people on their fashion either silently or to the face. If however it was a goodnight..well then she could really do some damage.

The poison princess felt her poison running through her and sighed deeply with the wonderful feeling of it. She had long since grown used to and even welcomed the poison in her veins and it could be a powerful tool, one she might have need of tonight.

Victoria flipped her chocolate coloured waves and adjusted the straps on her eye catching red dress before slinking over to the rail to look down on the crowd. She wanted to be well aware of any new arrivals.

Re: Zero consequences
Sure, it may only be the afternoon outside but in here it was night time all day long. It was darker in here, even though the coloured lights flickered but since it was dark it was easy for both Jason and Shauna to bled in with the crowd.

Opening the doors the twins quickly made their way inside, if the light stayed on them for too long people might notice their strange and unnatural skin colour. Jason didn't mind too much if people saw them, the scared looks on their faces was a simple form of amusement to him. Shauna, on the other hand, did mind. It was some sort of a curse put upon her, all their mother fault and how she reminded herself of that everyday too. Shauna kept it up, the hate in her mind, for the day when she sees her mother again, she'll make her revenge.

Shauna pushed the thought of her mother out of her head, she was in the nightclub a place where her skin colour could be hidden, though it wasn't always hidden but both mainly blamed the lights reflecting off their skin if anyone questioned them. She looked up to the higher levels, that was always a good spot. It was a little darker up there, and she didn't have to be with the humans. Mystique had always told her about them, so she naturally had a bit of disgust towards them. Looking up she saw another figure standing up there, her eyes yet to focus on who it was. Who was that person to stand up there in their spot?

Jason: "You wanna hit the dance floor, or go to the usual spot?"

The sound of her brother made Shauna look down and over to him. Dancing was one of her favourite things, and she wasn't half bad at it either. It was also fun to find a cute guy, spend a while dancing with him only to meddle with his mind before never seeing him again, but today she didn't really feel like that.

Shauna: "Let's just go upstairs, we can always scare off whoever's up there."

Her voice was serious, she didn't really like to joke too much. Her get down to business personality showing. Jason just nodded and lead the way up there, a slight bounce in his pace as he walked. He looked around the club as he made his way up the stairs, his legs could be so annoying. Why did the leaping power have to make him have a funny walk? Shauna would always tell him that it hardly showed, but Jason wasn't too sure on it.

Once the both of them made their way up to the higher level Shauna's eyes narrowed towards the girl who stood up there. Jason didn't mind too much, there was no harm in socializing with others, mutant, human or whatever. Looking over to his sister he noticed her gaze in her eyes, causing him to give a loud annoyed sigh. She always wanted things her way, a little thing out of place and the would could end. Why couldn't she just take life the way it was thrown at her?

Jason: "Let's just stay over here, she might leave soon."

His sister simply folded her arms and leaned against the rail, her back on everyone downstairs. Jason just shook his head and looked over towards the stranger nearby them. Maybe he could go over there and start a convosation with her, it would really annoy Shauna. Taking a few steps past his green sister, he stopped. His legs were feeling really bouncy today, causing him to no longer want to walk. Jason would only look as if he's a little baby who's just learned how to walk. Not a very good look for a 20 year old.

Jason: "Why do they keep looking at us like that?"
Shauna: "Our father’s Toad and our mother is a mutant in denial…"
Jason: "Parents reputations always have to stick onto their kids!"

Re: Zero consequences
(Sorry for taking so long Loza!)

Victoria had been glancing down at a couple on the dance floor below, silently judging their technique and their fashion. After all she had alot of experience in those areas.

At the rustling sound of clothing, strangely enough a sound she could hear quite clearly despite the loud music, Victoria inclined her head to look at whoever it was nearby her. She wasn't entirely disappointed for the boy nearby wasn't bad on the looks side. He had the handsome dark features of a man who could be quite handsome and Victoria appreciated the eye candy in a club of desperate people just looking to make a connection. It was refreshing to see really.

She was about to make her way over to him but frowned ever so slightly first, squinting her lovely dark eyes at him. Was it just the lighting or did he look a little green? she wondered to herself but shook the thought off. Surely it was just the lighting or perhaps he'd had a little too much to drink. He wouldn't be the only one here who had lost themself in the bottle.

What was life if you didn't try though? Victoria walked over to him, smoothing down her red dress as she came over to him.

"I'm sorry I don't think we've met," she said in a low slinky voice. "Victoria." At this she held out her hand, wondering if he would take it.

Re: Zero consequences
(OOC- It's alright! ^^)

As Victoria made her way towards the twins, Shauna just let out a sigh and whispered to herself something along the lines of ‘oh please’. Who did this girl think she was? Then again maybe she was just going to walk past and leav-… or stop right in front of her brother…

"I'm sorry I don't think we've met," Shauna just looked over to her brother, although there wasn’t much of a response from him as she was ignored.

"Victoria," Looking down to the outstretched hand for a short moment, Jason reached out with his own, leaned over a little and since he always liked to try and charm other girls although his skin colour normally scared them off, gave the girl’s hand a soft kiss. A faint smirk on his lips as he raised his head, the one he often wore when he was around girls. His sister just thought it was pretty sad.

Shauna was very tempted to stick her finger in her mouth and gag, but decided better of it. The girl would probably end up realising his true skin colour and run off screaming, like the rest of the girls he met after their mother altered their skin colour.

Jason: "I'm Jason, and this is my sister Shauna."

As the male twin of Toad pointed towards his sister Shauna, still with her arms folded, just raised a hand slightly, giving it a wave before it went back to lying on the opposite arm again. Shauna wasn’t always the friendliest around others, it was mainly due to them being lied to so often. Deep down inside she remains afraid that she’ll trust someone too much and they’ll lead herself and Jason into trouble…

Jason on the other hand was never afraid of meeting new people, straight away giving them a bit of trust if they showed friendliness. At times the twins could be so different, but then again they had always been two separate people.

Jason: "You’re not here all alone are you?"

Staring ahead Shauna’s eyes widened, surely he wasn’t going to offer this stranger a chance to spend time with them. They knew nothing about her, apart from her name. This Victoria girl could be one of those humans out to rid mutants or someone that Mystique had told them about.

Re: Zero consequences
With carefully practiced technique Victoria made herself flush ever so slightly as he kissed her hand. The flush wasn't entirely brought on though for Victoria found herself charmed by the handsome Jason. The only problem was that his sister was there.

Shauna looked less than impressed and Victoria has to force herself to smile politely at the other girl. Oh puhlease, she thought to herself as Shauna gave a little wave. What kind of guy hung around with his sister anyway? Definetly one downside to the charming man.

Victoria had learned a great deal about the expressions of others through her father's business and her skills came in handy as she glanced over at Shauna and noticed her eyes widdening. She almost smirked at the expression while Jason asked if she was there by herself. Even if she had had a date she would have spent her time with the pair simply to see the look on the sister's face. As it happened she was along though and that just made everything a heck of alot easier for her.

"As a matter of fact I am," Victoria purred softly. "I don't supose you'd have any interest in dancing with me though. Surely your sister would mind." She knew full well that he couldn't very well refuse her now for sake of rudeness. The very tone of her voice and expression in her eyes made sure of that. Nope he wouldn't be rejecting her anytime soon.

Re: Zero consequences
"As a matter of fact I am," A slight look of grumpiness flushed through Shauna’s face. That meant she was going to hang around with them for the rest of the night. If the stranger was going to stay, she wasn’t and if he got into any 'human troubles' her brother could find his own way out of it. If only she knew more about Victoria…

"I don't supose you'd have any interest in dancing with me though. Surely your sister would mind." Jason gave a quick glance over to his sister as if expecting her to snap back with something, she just rolled her eyes, then unfolded her arms and walked off muttering something along the lines of her getting something to drink. As his sister made her way down the stairs, Jason smirked, with her gone he wasn’t stuck with her wanting things her way. At times being with her was just so annoying, she hardly ever took the time the time for a joke anymore, so when he got the chance to spend time with other’s Jason wasn’t going to give up the opportunity and looked back over to Victoria, flashing her a friendly smile. There was no harm in dancing with the girl, honestly his sister couldn’t trust anyone these days!

Jason: "Uh…"

That was the only thing that came out of the green mutants mouth before he could take up the offer of a dance. He just remembered how bad his legs were acting today, if he went to walk down the stairs he’d surely bounce half of the way. Why did they have to play up like this today? When they acted like this Jason preferred to stay still, and if he was home he’d stay there for the rest of the day, but he didn’t want to say no to Victoria.

Jason: "I don’t see anything wrong with that. Let’s hit the dance floor."

At least this time his voice sounded more confident than he was really feeling. Jason had really become self-conscious about this, but then again it was hard to blame him on those days when he’d walk so awkward it’d make a baby’s first few steps look more professional than his own. He motioned for her to lead the way, well it was manners to let ladies go first, and if he led the way Victoria would surely see his odd walk.

Jason: "Why do they keep looking at us like that?"
Shauna: "Our father’s Toad and our mother is a mutant in denial…"
Jason: "Parents reputations always have to stick onto their kids!"

Re: Zero consequences
Victoria smiled back, dazzlingly radiant in her red dress as she led the way towards the dance floor. Silently she was quite happy that Jason's pesky sister hadn't interferred and relished the chance to be alone with him. After all few could deny that he had charm and looks. If only his morals weren't extremely intact there would be a future between them Victoria thought and the slightest hint of amusement lighted her eyes.

There were couples dancing upstairs and Victoria was not eager to try the walk back downstairs in her high heels so she settled for a reletively out of the way spot but one where she knew someone glancing up from the lower level would have a good view. Naturally this had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that she had no problem rubbing her getting her own way in Jason's sister's face. Nope, nothing at all.

"Shall we?" Victoria asked as a new song, one a bit slower started up. She waited for him to take her hand and lead as a boy was suposed to.

Re: Zero consequences
The good thing about staying upstairs meant that he didn’t have to worry over getting an unstable balance on his legs and tumble down them, bringing down Victoria with him. Jason looked down the level below to see if his sister had found someone to dance with. She was often one to find some guy to dance with, how she loved to mess with other guys minds, always leaving her brother alone to sit at the bar. So it was a nice change that he got someone to dance with.

"Shall we?" The song that just finished was a n easy to dance to type of song, but this one just starting up was more slower, not always the best type of song to dance to first up, but as he looked to Victoria, he knew he had to take her hand and lead. Doing that he only hoped he wouldn’t stuff and make an idiot of himself.

Moving at to the beat of the song, Jason kept his footing pretty well, as he lead the dance. He wasn’t a professional at these types of dances, but he knew the basics, since Shauna had made him get lessons with her around the time when they lived with their Dad. At this moment he seemed to be grateful for taking those lessons, although he did feel extremely out of place while took those lessons along with another guy who was dragged there by his girlfriend. All the other students there were wither girls, or guys who… didn’t really have plans on having a relationship with females…

The dance was going better than he thought, his legs weren’t too bad and not to mention the fact that he was dancing with a very petty girl. A small smile crept onto his face, the first time in quite a while when the green mutant had the chance to enjoy himself, other than having fun annoying Shauna and laughing as she stormed off on him. But it always seemed that when it was times like these things had a chance of stuffing up.

Re: Zero consequences
Victoria couldn't help the slight pout of disappointment the crossed her face as she saw Jason's sister pair up with another guy. She had wanted to have her fun right in plain view. It would have been a great show. Now she would have to settle for a private dance and strangely enough she didn't mind.

Victoria had liked to be the centre of attention and in high school she had been the cheerleader who all the girls wanted to be and the guys wanted to have. She had led them on for awhile, pretending they had a chance then cruelly pulled away. It wasn't too hard and the heartbroken expressions on their faces made it all worthwhile. Sometimes people could be morons.

Now though, with Jason in her arms, she didn't mind being hidden in darkness with only the few dim lights to illuminate them. For once she felt something for a guy, perhaps it was just physical attraction like the sparks between a match and a firework or maybe it was more than that. Perhaps it was some sense subconsioussly of how he could match her step for step by way of powers and usage of them. Either way Victoria found herself immensely enjoying herself and she had no ulterior motive, something that was also new.

It wasn't a bad dance, not one with sheer magnetism that she had had in the past but he was no klutz like some of the men she had dated and toyed with. Victoria was glad that he didn't have two left feet and he seemed to be holding his own quite well.

"So Jason," she started in her low and slinky voice. "What do you do in your spare time?" It was a lame question but her voice made it sound ten times better and she found she actually cared about his answer. Sure she didn't know all the poeple in the city but she knew many of them and she had neve seen him before in her life.

Lionel Luthor: Lex, your brother will never change. I’ve watched him over the years and the boy’s a sociopath.
Lex: And I wonder which side of the family he got that from.

Re: Zero consequences
(OOC- Neat Siggy! Good quote too!:evil *Looks over to Jason who nods in agreement*)

"So Jason," Victoria’s voice seemed to snap him out of the thoughts he had just drifted into, brining him back to reality, before he quickly paid more attention to the girl in his arms.

"What do you do in your spare time?" Well, that was an interesting question, Jason had to admit he wouldn’t expect such a question at this time but the way Victoria said it, the tone was so nice… If she always spoke like that he’d probably do whatever she asked...

Jason quickly thought over the question again, what did he really do in his spare time? He liked to laze about, find new ways to annoy Shauna with, joke about with his mates along with a few other things. But he had rarely gotten much spare time, if at all, since they left the Brotherhood. It almost seemed as if they were constantly on the move, why couldn’t they just stay in the one spot for a while? No place seemed like home anymore… Shauna was just so paranoid that something might happen to them, like if they met up with one of their parents again, or something. It’s not as if they both couldn’t hold up their own against other mutants, together they were a strong duo.

Opening his mouth to reply, Jason could feel like he was being watched, his blue-green eyes slowly scanned the level to see if someone was watching them. While doing this a bright light was shone into his eyes, it wasn’t a big light, probably about the size of a light from a torch, but it was strong enough for others to make out Jason’s natural skin colour, if they noticed the light upon the two dancers.

Not even thinking about how stupid idea it would be to do this, Jason quickly flung out his extraordinary long tongue in the direction of the light until he felt the plastic handle of the torch and pulled it out of whoever’s hands it was in. He just didn’t want Victoria to see his real skin colour, he was having a great time and now someone had to ruin it, Jason was almost counting down the seconds until she’d run off disgusted with what he truly was.

Shauna was still busy with her own dance to notice what was going on, on the level above her as Jason dropped the torch as his tongue slid back into his mouth. As his eyes adjusted back to the dimmer lights Jason saw a familiar figure making it’s way over to Victoria and him. It was Gary Stevens, a fire-controlling mutant who was really against Jason because he was caught flirting with his girlfriend a few years ago. Some people can hold grudges for a while these days. If Jason knew that she was taken he wouldn’t have done such a thing, but the girl had said she was single.

Gary: "Nice to see you’ve moved on from my Rachel!"

The fire mutant said smugly, Jason just rolled his eyes. It always seemed that when they met he’d talk about how he and Rachel were still together, if only he knew that when she was left alone she’d find other guys to keep her company.

Jason: "You want to know what I do in my spare time? Try and stay away from these types of mutants!"

He spoke in an annoyed tone as he pulled away from Victoria, his eyes narrowing towards Gary. Jason hadn’t even realised that he said ‘mutants’ instead of people, it wasn’t as if it mattered anyway, she’d most likely seen his natural skin colour and was probably going to leave anyway. With his eyes still on Gary he noticed the look on his face… If he even tried to move on Victoria and try something stupid, he had another thing coming. Even if she didn’t want anything to do with him anymore, Jason wasn’t going to let Gary try something on her.

Re: Zero consequences
~~

As the dance floor lights flashed, splashing brief moments of light upon people Victoria saw again a green tinge play across Jason's skin and wondered once more, her suspicions even stronger this time, about his true skin colour. It was difficult to tell, particularly when she was concentrating just as much on Jason as on the reactions other people were giving to their dance. Victoria loved the public eye so long as it suited her and at the moment she was revelling in the attention the duo were recieving. She only got the faintest hint that perhaps this attention was directed towards something other than a good looking couple.

Victoria only just refrained from rolling her eyes as she saw Gary Stevens approach them and comment about his girlfriend. Jeeze some people. She'd stolen boyfriends before and had been labelled a heartbreaker by some and the revelation that Jason had tried to take another guy's girlfriend was neither stunning nor important to her. When the poison princess saw a guy she liked she took him and wasn't so big a feminist as to insist that this should be a one sided rule of want take have.

Victoria listened to Jason's disgusted reply and couldn't help but notice the words 'these types of mutants'.

"Interesting to know," Victoria said and she smiled at gary but it wasn't a pleasant smile, it was plastered on, as fake as that high pitched sugary voice her aunt had always used with business men or her father saying he had never blackmailed his customers.

She noticed the slightly posessive stance of Jason and felt oddly touched. Usually she would have laughed off his attitude towards her, she was an independant type and her powers more than ensured that she could take care of herself.

Don't fight boys, she thought to herself but said aloud, "Gary was it? No offence intended," Victoria said, her tone clearly indicating that offence was meant and that she was quite offended and annoyed by the fire mutant's comments. "You interrupted our dance as in Jason and my dance. You want to mope about your girlfriend go right ahead but don't do it near me, my expensive shoes or the boy I am willingly dancing with."

With that Victoria used her full on eyes that she had been told were snakelike at times. At the moment they certainly seemed to hold venom in their icy depths. She turned away from him, giving him the cold shoulder and looking directly back at Jason.

"How's about we finish that dance and you tell me all about what types of mutants you do spend time with." Victoria shot him her all out, knee weakening smile that she knew no man could ever resist and inwardly smirked as she didn't need mutant powers to read Gary's thoughts at the moment.

Re: Zero consequences
"Interesting to know," It took a few moments for Jason to realise what she said but as soon as it sunk into his head his eyes seemed to go back to normal hearing Victoria’s voice as he looked over to her, a slight look of puzzlement on his face. She didn’t care that he was a mutant? She didn’t care that he was green?

"Gary was it? No offence intended," Jason couldn’t help but give a faint smug look over to Gary as he tried to keep a calm feel about him, it clearly wasn’t working.

"You interrupted our dance as in Jason and my dance. You want to mope about your girlfriend go right ahead but don't do it near me, my expensive shoes or the boy I am willingly dancing with." Wow, there were many positives to this girl, she wasn’t someone who was weak and couldn’t stand up for herself, that was for sure. Jason couldn’t help but give a big smirk as he wondered what would happen to Gary if he tried something else. The look on his face was priceless; someone really couldn’t stand defeat by a girl.

"How's about we finish that dance and you tell me all about what types of mutants you do spend time with." As she spoke to him Jason was ready to be either told off, slapped just plain being yelled at. He really hadn’t expected what she just said, a faint look of shock on his face. She still wanted to dance with him and wanted to know what types of mutants he spends time with? Thank God she wasn’t afraid of mutants like some girls were, actually, if she was a mutant herself she probably would fit in quite well with the Brotherhood, if only he knew.

Then he saw the smile that quickly whipped the faint look of shock off his face, replacing it with a sort of goofy smile. He quickly looked away from her for a moment, just for one last look at Gary’s face.

Jason: "Who am I to argue with her?"

Gary didn’t really seem to reply, he was still shocked that a girl had told him off, even Rachel didn’t seem to talk to him like that, even when they had a fight. Jason didn’t seem to care at all as he looked back down to Victoria, he thought that Gary might try something, maybe he would, but not now. So, now was perfect to go back to the dance, especially since he didn’t have to worry about her running off after finding out that he’s a mutant.

Grabbing her hand he led her a little distance away from Gary, sure the little bounce in his step was annoying but if he tried to ignore it the bounce seemed to disappear, before making up for lost time and catching up with the dance.

Jason: "You really wanna know about what types of mutants I know?"

The green mutant still seemed a little surprised, no one ever really wanted to know stuff like that. Since he hadn’t really talked about the mutants he knew that often he took a couple of seconds to think over the mutants he knew; Shauna, his mother and father, Mystique, Phoebe and some other mutants at the Brotherhood.

Jason: "If it’s anything interesting I come from a family of mutants, gained most of my mutancy from my Dad. But the skin colour was my Mum’s idea, I’ve learnt not to make her angry since then! ... Actually that's not interesting at all..."

As he spoke he recalled the meeting with his mother, honestly didn’t parents have other ways of dealing with their kids? It’s not everyday people are turned green by their mother, she was defiantly one person who shouldn’t have been allowed to have kids!

Jason: "Anyway, they aren’t that important. Other mutants I know… there’s Shauna and a whole bunch at the Brotherhoo-…"

His voice seemed to quieten down until it fully stopped while he mentioned the Brotherhood. He was sure Mystique wouldn’t like everyone knowing about the Brotherhood, but he didn’t mean it, he just let it slip. Well at least he didn’t say the whole word… You know she might think that it was something else… Who was he kidding the name was quite obvious by now. Maybe she’d forget or didn’t hear… maybe if he went on with dancing silently it’d just blow over, and it won’t look as if the Brotherhood was anything important…

Jason: "Why do they keep looking at us like that?"
Shauna: "Our father’s Toad and our mother is a mutant in denial…"
Jason: "Parents reputations always have to stick onto their kids!"

Re: Zero consequences
Victoria smiled slightly as she saw the shock on Jason's face. There weren't many people who guessed that a rich spoiled brat like her actually cared for mutants a fair bit let alone that she was one herself.

A sort of goofy smile swept over his face and Victoria thought, entirely out of character for someone like her, that he looked sort of cute with his goofy grin.

It was the satisfaction she felt at Gary's stunned look though that pulled her back to her true self. Yeah we'll talk real soon, she thought sarcastically to herself and added to her own thoughts by putting in a quickcreep to finish off the thought.

This time Victoria noticed the extra bounce in his step and wondered just what kind of mutant abilities Jason had. If they were nothing more than jelly legs and green skin he had better be awfully cute in direct sunlight.

As they settled back into their dance though she couldn't even feel the stringy step and was lost in the rhythm of the dance and in his arms.

"You really wanna know about what types of mutants I know?" he asked and she nodded with a slight smile, she was extremely curious about whether she knew any of them and if they would help her out.

Jason: "If it’s anything interesting I come from a family of mutants, gained most of my mutancy from my Dad. But the skin colour was my Mum’s idea, I’ve learnt not to make her angry since then! ... Actually that's not interesting at all..."

Victoria's face displayed a hint of a smile of indulgence. It was true that it wasn't incredibly interesting but she knew they'd get there eventually and she could be a very patient person when it was in her best interests.

Jason: "Anyway, they aren’t that important. Other mutants I know… there’s Shauna and a whole bunch at the Brotherhoo-…"

Victoria's eyes narrowed in curiousity, the yellow-green slits even more like the eyes of a snake, hypnotically beautiful but deadly. His voice had quieted though and she knew he wished he hadn't said anything. Victoria wasn't about to let it go though, even if he didn't want to talk about the subject. She had her charms, surely she could persuade him to open up a little more if neccessary.

"Maybe I misheard you," Victoria said in her slinky charmed voice. She was giving him an exit and wondered if he would take it. She really was interested in the Brotherhood but information about them wasn't exactly easy to find when they didn't want it to be found. "Did you say the brotherhood? I must admit I'm interested". She was smart enough to make sure her tone clearly indicated that she didn't hate the brotherhood and was more rather than less on their side.

Re: Zero consequences
"Maybe I misheard you," That was a good sign, maybe she didn’t hear him, maybe it sounded like something else to her, Jason didn’t care didn’t care, he was going to wriggle out of this one before Shauna found out that he spilled the beans. If she found out about that he’d be in trouble, even worse if Mystique found out!

"Did you say the brotherhood? I must admit I'm interested." He swallowed hard, maybe he wasn’t going to get out of this… Well at least he’d have this dance to think about while being yelled at by two women. Then again, Victoria’s tone of voice didn’t sound as if she was against the members of the Brotherhood. Well, of course she wasn’t against mutants, he knew that otherwise he wouldn’t be dancing with this girl in his arms.

Jason: "I really shouldn’t be talking about this…"

Jason hesitated, looked around the upper dance floor the two were on, half expecting to see and angry Shauna or an extremely angry Mystique. So what if he was close to Mystique? That wouldn’t make her stop yelling, and if he was ‘lucky’ she might even resort to violence, or leave Shauna to do that. Looking back to Victoria he knew he had to tell her, he didn’t know why… he just did. She was interested, why couldn't he tell her? Girls seemed to influence his life a lot! But maybe if he used his wording well he wouldn’t say everything, the last thing he wanted to say was about the Brotherhood’s dislike towards humans, to a girl who he believed was human.

Jason: "We’re just a bunch of mutants, who do… uh… mutant-ish stuff…"

Smooth words… Now if you ever wanted to de-grade the Brotherhood, that was a good way! He could have said worse, right? At least he didn’t say they ran around carrying flowers wanting peace between humans and mutants. Just the thought of that sounded wrong in his mind. Though Jason didn’t find humans all that bad, they were just a lower race, if there ever was a war between the two races, he didn’t want them to all be killed. Couldn’t some be kept alive? Like the pretty girls, they surely couldn’t cause any harm, unless they all had attitudes like Victoria.

Jason: "But what’s a girl like you wanting to know information about the Brotherhood for?"

This time it was his turn to ask a question as he continued with the dance. He seemed curious to know the answer. The main thing was he didn’t give away much information, if any, at all. And even a part of him wished that she was a mutant, if she was he could take her to the Brotherhood, show her around and stuff. Maybe she’d even become a member, now that would be great.

Jason: "Why do they keep looking at us like that?"
Shauna: "Our father’s Toad and our mother is a mutant in denial…"
Jason: "Parents reputations always have to stick onto their kids!"
