a stormy training session
Clenching her teeth, Storm held her bleeding shoulder and let a strong wind lift her higher; away - just for some seconds - away from that red coloss.
" 's everythin' alright?" A concerned voice asked.
Grimly, Ororo nodded and raised both arms. A tempest came up and attacked the Sentinel savagely who was just about to start another attack.
Hovering in front of it, the Windrider glanced at the other three to make sure they were still lying without any motion behind her current opponent.
"Feel my power" ,she shouted at the mechanical monster, her eyes flashing white-blue of electricity. Out of nowhere, lightning appeared, struck the
Sentinel a dozen times with deafening strokes.
Leaving out a sigh of relief, Storm sank to the ground as the last Sentinel fell.
"Well done, Ororo, but only 9 outta ten for gettin' hurt" the voice sounded again and Rogue entered the Danger Room shortly after while the program
booted the training file.
"I'm sorry I was... distracted. Jean created an excellent illusion of pain by the way" Storm watched her shoulder where some seconds ago blood had
flown. Her clothes were as pure as snow again. Taking a deep breath, Ororo got up.
"Next time, Rogue... next time! I mustn't fail again... I owe you that. All of you!"
"Nah, sweetie, don't strain yourself! Ya still one o' the most powerful chicks 'round here.... guess I should train harder, too......." Pretty embarrassed, Rogue looked aside, studying the perfect illusions around them...
Re: a stormy training session
"Oh geeeeez, I just hate it when he does..." Rogue started angry and trembling of shock at the same time but was interrupted by Storm
"Use his powers? He's not able to disappear slowly so it's not his fault, dear. Try to be patient with him as I'm with you and your strange way of speaking... and now we really have to go and see what the Professor wants to talk with us about..."
