The Entrance Hall
Welcome to Hogwarts. Double oak front doors, opening to the west bird you enter Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Entrance hall is a large, cavernous room, lit by torches, with ceiling so high it's barely visible. Wide marble staircase opposite the front doors leads up to first floor. Double doors to the right lead into the Great Hall. On the wall are two doors, one on either side of the staircase. To the one side of the grand staircase is a door leading down a flight of steps to the first dungeon level.

The Great Hall
The Great Hall is a vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling which mirrors the sky outside. Inside are four long tables for the four houses: Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor. The teachers sit at the High Table, a table on a raised platform at the front of the room. Come and enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just hang out. The Great Hall is open all day.
