No, no, no. Not Aeris... I think that suspicion is almost completely baseless. There is no plot, just one of many morons who like to gross out innocent, entirely non-web-savvy people. At least that's how I see it...

Well good afternoon to you Ally. Have'nt heard from you on L* for a while hope your keeping well. My 'theory' about aeris was the revenge motive, and yeah your right there's no basis for it except his speak on the site. Anyhow i'll drop the subject now.
Equinox
Today (or yesterday evening if you wish) is the equinox of spring. So many equinorial blessings of the day. I have a question for you .. now if the solsice is named so 'cus of sol being sun, is the equinox named after a horse spirirt like Epona or Rhiannon or Macha etc etc ?(as in Equine) Does anyone know?
I'm fairly sure it means "equal night" or something like that, what with "nox" meaning "night" and it being the point between longer nights/shorter days and shorter nights/longer days.

I could post more there, Zed, but the conversations are so confused (thus confusing) sometimes, and all too often based on beliefs and stuff I don't experience...
...sometimes I just don't know what I think, like with most political, social, environmental issues, it's like every alternative is bad anyway, I see too many flaws with either side, and I shouldn't moan and complain anyway, but rather go out and do something (but that scares me (the "going out" more than the "doing something" part)).
Even when I have an opinion I see no way to insert it, and there are too few people around I'd feel comfortable sharing personal things with...and I have a feeling if I shared them anyway nothing meaningful would come back.
Obviously, faeries in the Lavendise sense aren't really "my topic" either, and the happy or magical stuff just isn't something that I can relate to... maybe when I'm done sorting out myself I'll be more than an occasional source of criticism/complaints, but that day won't ever come I fear.

How stereo typical of me to see a mystical (Epona the gallic horse goddess) meaning to the word instead of the down to earth, nights are equal reality. I'm the type of person who sees ghosts etc when there are'nt any just because i want to.
The idea of galloping of into the sunset, does give a new meaning to the word nightmare does it not?
However i'm remorseless and i will choose to believe that it comes from Epona 'cuz she's a cool goddess and deserves to be remembered, i shall dedicate the autumn equine ox to Macha as i like her too. (it's my mind and i'll fry it if i want to) the connection between Macha and an ox is also relevent ...i've just invented a new religion, how cool, i'm a cult leader.
Do you have Panic attacks before going out the door then? I've been there too. Takes about an hour to get out the door to go get a pint of milk or something mundane like that.

Nope... I have no panic attacks, fortunately. (Ok, so maybe I've had a few "slight" ones when there was something specific happening like a busload of kids taunting me.) It still takes me hours to rack up the courage to see anyone in person, but I don't want to talk about the reasons right now because they're very personal.
"Nightmares" really _are_ some sort of horse creatures, aren't they? I do remember reading that that's where the word is from. In German they're elf dreams and the "sleep paralysis" state that can lead to out of body experiences is also known as "elf pressure" (and yes, I always repeat that bit of info every few months, sorry...))
P.S., and I thought you'd be totally upset by now with my nitpicky nature

Hah...have you ever read one of my posts? I'm prolly the most antagonistic/reactionary bollox on L* i'm totally suprised anyone still talks to me at all. Your 'nitpicking' as you call it, i think of as rational reasoned argument (maybe you don't see it that way but i do) Mayhap i have'nt always agreed with the replies you've given me but i enjoy people who speak their mind. This is why i am so reactionary, to get people to rant at me what they truly beleive, this way i get real opinionz, not just people saying the politically correct thing. Absurd as it may sound i like people who argue with me (if it's real, not just attack for the sake of attack) I find it endearing...i've even heard it called 'honesty' (rare these days)
