I think the white wolf is a female, though I guess it's a moot point now. ^^; Then again, my source for Balto knowledge hasn't yet showed me Balto 2, so.... I hear something is cleared up in there. (Okay, I hardly know anything on this topic, but I like this site and the owner is cool. ^_~; )
This reminds me, though, have any of you played NiGHTS Into Dreams for Sega Saturn? It's kind of old: it came out in 1996. There is a similar debate for NiGHTS, though...is it a male or female? I don't think the NiGHTS groupies ever did figure that one out...I say she's a she, though....

Her name is Aniu and Naba from Balto 2 kept on calling her she! She is even Balto's MOM! (looks at White and growls softly) Everyone knows she's a GIRL!

This poll isn't about Aniu, it's about the White Wolf from Balto. Though you and many others may say "They're the same character!", the white wolf would still have no gender even if the sequel was never written.

That is true. And they look a little different from eachother, but one is sure to think there is a connection between them, but how could White strut around calling HER a HE?
