what about?
I'm a die hard freestyle fan from NJ. Over here Coro,Cynthia,Judy Torres(especially judy!!) and George Lamond are overplayed. What they don't play are freestyle artists like Peter Fontaine(Just Like the Wind!) Exo, Body & Soul, Sebastian(The nights we shared), Pure Pleazure(hold me in the dark) Denine(tears shed), Nasty Boyz(intimate strangers) Tonasia(wondering), TPE(then came you) and NUIMAGE(tears in my eyes(great song!!) just to name a few. These artist worked just as hard as Cynthia, Judy etc.!! Why don't they play their music on the radio stations here in NY?? Is it because of their labels? Freestyle is freestyle!! I love it all! The only place i can find these artists are on old tapes i have or on a P2P! The record stores don't have these artists so that leaves me to P2P! You'll probably find most of these artist on there! download and listen! You be the judge! I hope everybody in florida gets a shot of Freestyle soon!

hey ppl i see alot of recomandations for mami,cali, ny but what about chi-town.... being that i'm from chicago and grew up listening to freestyle i like to remember my days... Don't get me wrong we have a strong radio station out here who still plays freestyle once in a while but not like b4. For those who on here and from chicago u know which one i'm talking about....Also for those who don't know there's actually a freestyle concert happing this saturday Oct18.... for more details feel free to reach me at monikalabonita516@hotmail.com.
the concert is back to bmx !!! the history behind that name is that there was a radio station back in the early 90"s that concentrated on freestyle and house,classics etc.. for those who are old school should know what i'm talking about...well the station was called wbmx 92.3....
now for the pourpes of this note . sorry about the lil history
but it will be nice to have more freestyle artist come up with new songs or maybe performe more..
now i leave u with this:
the passion for music makes the artist,
and the artist makes the fans,
the fans make the passion for the music continue !!!
so let's keep freestyle alive!!!!!!

Miami Freestyle Reunion
Does anyone have more recent information regarding this event? I just found out about it today (11/10) and I'm having a hard time confirming all the artists who have committed to performing or whether this event will actually take place due to poor ticket sales and very poor publicity. I don't want to believe that TKA hasn't joined the reunion concert, since they were highly popular Miami and have returned for numerous performance in the past few years. Can anyone provide more info.?
FREESTYLE CONCERT
I live here in Clearwater, FL (Tampabay Area) and we have alot of latinos here and freestyle fans. Why are all freestyle concerts held in either Miami or Orlando? In Clearwater we have a huge outdoor park and conscert auditorium were we've brought other famous acts before like JLo and tons of hip-hop artists. What do I need to do or who do I need to contact to bring a Freestyle Weekend Concert here like the ones in Miami and Orlando. I'm telling you we have a huge Latino community so you will not be sorry with the turnout. And while we're at it we need a Freestyle radio station here too. We have 3 hip-hop stations but no Freestly...wats up wit dat?

My name is Mike Arce' well to make a long story short I recorded a song called "Tender love and Care"released on CrossBay Records an indi label based out in Queens N.Y. and sold 30,000 copies From N.Y. To Miami.
I performed in Ricks Bar in Miami and Palades in N.Y. and D.j. Kool Mike Ski Promoted it in La Mirage N.Y.
I'm looking to get back into the Freestyle seen to share my Lyrics And ability to sing once again.
