Just found a website dealing with a Virgin Mary apparition in Clearwater, Fl. Perhaps you know the page already. I think the windows are a different kind of window than your average window and the light source made that image appear that way. That is my thoughts on this. Now I could be totally wrong but just a glance at it and I would dismiss that. But that is a cool picture. You find the best pics all the time Castle of Haunts

And seeing this pic, and knowing what I know about glass and the humidity level down here I would say that this image is produced by moisture inbetween multipaned glass. Just my humble opinion. Now to each his own, kinda like the bible here we could all interpert it in different ways. But who says this is the Virgin Mary, it could be a hooded executioner, or a monk, or so many things. I think it is all in what you personally believe.

Just the thought to be a the creature of Gods who need to use cheap amusement park tricks to contact me makes me shuddering. I mean, if we believe in God or in Virgin Mary we should at first believe that they are adults and that they have at least a voice to speak. If they want to say us something, I'm sure they wouldnt play around like kids and waste their time with shadows on the wall or faces in clouds. But however, as you mentioned, its a question in what you personally believe.

Well, I ran this one past my husband, who has worked in the glass industry for 15+ years. He looked at it, read about it, looked at it again and said, 'Well, it's definitely NOT normal. Especially for bronze glass. That's just weird.' Mind you, he's a skeptic, although he's had a couple experiences. He said that he's seen that effect, but never on bronze reflective glass. Sooo...going from what he says, I don't think it's normal, but I am not convinced that this is an image of the Virgin Mary. People will forget what you said and what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

I tend to agree with Loopy's theory about moisture getting in between the panes and then with the light hitting it just right causing the rainbow looking effect. I've ordered it, we've installed it. It's very thick. People will forget what you said and what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

Like intense heat, it does get pretty ******* hot here, or how about condensation on the inside making it. If the air is cranked in the summer time and it is warm outside I have seen the best insulated windows sweat. I know most houses here have marble or cermic sills as the wood just rots from all of the moisture. Just throwing stuff out here. I really do not know that much about glass. I too think it is an awesome thing. Wish it said where building was I would take pics first hand for you guys. Okay found the addy on the site, and I will go and see what I can see for you guys. Edited to add: Had a long discussion with hubby about the mechanics of this thick and doggoned heavy glass we order. And it IS heavy...I've had to help lift it! The glass is multipaned, but not in the way you would normally think. There is a pocket of air (or gas, depending upon what the climate is in the area it's being installed) between the panes, but it is locked in. He said that wouldn't have any bearing on that type of effect. People will forget what you said and what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel. Like maybe they used a gas and the heat down here caused the gas to do something funky? I am just throwing out bones here. I have not gotten there yet. As soon as the baby gets up I will go.

Btw, to make a simple reflection to an "apparition" you need only a comfortable graphic tool. I think if we would try we could deliver such pictures too. It depends only on how patient we are, cause it demands editing pixel by pixel.

And you can see the damn thing from the road, going by at 70 mph which is what I am usually driving. Now, I know you do not think it could be a thing in with the glass Chels, and I do not pretend to be an expert, but here is what I think. The building is entirely made of this glass, the roof is a normal high rise roof over much of the building, but the roof over the area with the "image" is not the same. It is at an entrance way to the building and instead of the steel headers like at the top of the other glass this is toped with more glass. so there is like a glass ceiling in the entrance way. the glass is just held together with some sort of bonding agent. Now another reason I think that this is something to do with the weather here is that their is another building on my way to work, a little older, it has glass the same as this one, and guess what, it has the same effect one each and every single pane of glass. I took pics of both buildings, and as soon as I get them developed I will post them. It is not a lighting effect or a reflection, I can promise you that. But like I said, still feel it is somthing wrong with the glass itself, and the shape is open to interpertation. Just my humble opinion.

It does look really awesome. The other buildings with this effect on the glass are just not as apparent, and this one is so much like a rainbow. So regardless of how it got there or what it is. It does have a lot of appeal. I think they are going to replace the glass though. there are scaffoldings with coverings at one end of the building, and I do not know what is going on with it. I will try and find out what and let you know.
