He stood up as the intercom blared out, streatching as he did so, looking over in suprise as James started gibbering and acting all jittery again. Watching the man slam the door shut again, his face and feelings were genuine as he spoke to James.
'There are alot more people in the world than there are in that corridor out there and you are going to have to learn to be amongst them. At least you know the people out in that corridor wont judge you for what you have gone though.'
He walked over to the door and put his hand upon the handle, pausing before he pushed.
'Unless you would rather wait a few mintues.' He said

Re: The latest recruit
James looked to John Solemly, his face giving one last expression of despiration, but the fact was hitting home, John was correct there are more than just the initiative, there was the outside world and other mutants, this fact was starting to take it's toll it was just making it harder for him, for all he could realise is that the more people there is then the more likely he is from being persecuted.
James took a gulp and stood out of the way of the door, he did not want to say any thing but he felt that John will still presure him about something else sooner or later, as the door creeped open a female stood at the door, James' face was stewn with frustration, he was still unsure of any strangers, no matter what council John may give he will still show an aprehention to others.
James stood in silentence as Joan and John introduced each other, Joan was squinting at the sheer light that seemed to out shine the corridor that some of the agents were deeming as too bright.

Re: The latest recruit
He looked at the girl infront of him, damn but she was cute he thought, looking at her blonde hair that framed her pretty face. This working for the initiative might be more interesting than he had origionally had thought, there wasn't a thought in his head for unfortunate Bekki. Raising one hand he placed it on the door frame, holding the other out towards her, a dazzling, charming smile upon his face, one which a few months ago would even have caused Cat's heart to flip in her rib cage.
'Hi.' he said holding out a hand in a gesture of friendship. His attention had wavered from James who still stood behind him. His eyes meeting her hazel ones, his gaze suggestively hinting of his interest.
He heard the mutant behind him take one step backwards as if he were scared by the presence of the woman. Jon wondered why that should be so, women were notably weak willed, he thought back to Cat. If she hadn't been out of it that night he knew she would have been more than happy to do anything he suggested, he wished he had taken note of how much she was drinking. He did feel a bit guilty that he had meant to be looking after her and he had been the one to press to many drinks upon her, so many infact he had to support her out of the club.

Re: The latest recruit
Her eyes flickered over towards James for a moment, a soft smile still echoed on her lips as she watched him coil away from her with a distrusting face.
But her attention was pulled from him and brought to the other, his charming nature almost pleasing to see from the usual Agents that only cared to follow orders emotionlessly.
Politely her hand reached out, gently taking hold of Agent Haloway's outstretched hand.
Joan:"Your friend seems...a little shy."
Once again her eyes flickered back over towards the boy, her demonic genes fed off the emotions of others, fear the most appetizing of all. And it seemed to radiate off this creature, a coy smile spread across her lips even more.
Joan:"We should hurry, it's an emergency briefing, late arrivals are permitted to be...disciplined."
Her hand slowly and delicately pulled away from Jon's fingers and she took a step away.
Joan:"Most of them should already be there by now....the corridors should be empty.."
Her words where spoken softly towards James as if she was talking to a child. She gave an inward disappointed look into towards the room, half hoping Riley would step out, yet he wasn't there, obviously still down at the school.
Re: The latest recruit
Joan's hand was warm and light to his touch, he reluctantly let her fingers slip through his as she pulled her hand away, he fought back the impulse to step forwards to take it back again.
He listened to her words as they fell from her lips, she shook himself slightly, turning back and looking at James, not really knowing what to reply to her comment on his shyness.
'Come on James, you'll be ok.' he said bekoning to James, eager to follow this beautiful woman where ever she chose to lead him. He wasn't very good at staying faithful to one girl, he could still love Bekki and still be infatuated with Cat and now this new girl more than attracted him and he was used to getting what he wanted. The man seemed to hesitate, looking at Joan as if she would bite him, Jon felt himself blush slightly at his own private thoughts.
'You don't wanna be disciplined do you, on your first day, that wouldn't please the initiative very much.' He said effectively blackmailing the man.

Re: The latest recruit
Almost instantainiously James eyes darted from the floor to John and the slightest mention of the Initiative, "n...N..No ...I don't" James mumbled running his left hand along his right arm in an insecure manner, James followed John out of the room and swiped his keylock through the device locking the door to his room,
James followed John and Joan as they made their way down the dormant corridors, James recoiled behind John the moment an unfamilar face looked his way. He was paranoid that others would be discusted because he was a mutant, the fear was not helped by the vicious comments that are posted over the news papers that he reads.
