'You got a chip Riley, lil'implant they put inside your head, I can't hurt humans without mine zappin' me, you can't hurt other soldiers of the Initiative.' He looked like he didn't belive Spike ... but how could he not since he'd collapsed on the floor in agony just for touching someone? She felt a sudden rush of ... something ... freindliness? ... affection? for the agent who had just struggled to his knees. She wasn't sure what it was but she felt relived at the fact that younger agent had gone ... very relived.
'But he was trying... he was going to hurt her, why was I punished for helping? Why.. why do I have an.. I don't understand...' She looked across at him for a moment before she spoke, careful to keep her body away from the barrier.
'They don't want you to be able to harm their agents.' She said fighting back the urge to inform him he'd tried to escape in the past.
'but.. why would she tell you that.' She found herself ignoring the question, if not she'd have to tell him he was Riley again and he'd just get angry with her again and at the moment she couldn't deal with being shot at again.
'You don't like Riley.. but.. did Riley like you?' She looked down at the floor for a second then stood up looking rather flustered for some reason.
'You belive he exists then?' Cat said, she backed away slightly. 'I guess so ... I dunno he shouted at me in Lost Angels maybe ... maybe he was my freind but I wasn't his.' She said sounding rather confused about the whole thing, she didn't know, people were so hard to read.
'I got this for you.. if your cold.' She looked at the grey blanket.
'Oh ummm Thanks.' She said sounding uncomfortable, looking down at him from where she stood. She culdn't figure him out, one moment he tried to kill her the next he was trying to make her more comfortable

(ooc-YAAAAY! At least ya kinda back..you missed rpin' with you heaps...it's only been a day since dan posted..)
'You belive he exists then?' He still didn't have a clue what he believed any more.. he didn't like this, he didn't like any of this, and he felt different, and Joan's given him so many needles.. What are they all for? He just couldn't help but think over what Spike had said earlier and what they keep saying about druggings..
'I guess so ... I dunno he shouted at me in Lost Angels maybe ...' Well it seems who ever he was.. he had a habit of shouting at her, he stared guiltily down at the blanket, why had her Riley shouted at her? He wondered how long she and Riley knew each other.. he wondered... why was she always saying how much she didn't like him?
'... maybe he was my freind but I wasn't his.' At this, Riley leaned forward until his forehead gently hit the glass barrier, his hand covering his face. She did it again, she said how she doesn't like him, Riley pulled his head away from the barrier, a confused, yet extremely hurt look about his face.
"Why are you doing that? Why do you try and tell me I'm Riley, and then tell me how much you hate the guy?" He staggered to his feet, he wasn't sure why her not liking the guy was hurting him so much. Maybe because it felt like she was using this Riley as a way to telling him how much she hated Marc.. who ever Marc was.. He didn't know who he was, she says she knows, and she makes him sound as terrible as he feels..
"Don't you understand.. you're tearing my world apart, you're going to destroy me before I even figure out what's going on. Also, the doors are locked, you can't escape even if the demon over powers me, so unless.. you really don't like me, there's no point in trying to fight your way out." His hand pressed the button that deactivated the field and he slowly moved and opened the door, the thought that she just might get her friend to fight him on the basis she doesn't like him easily came to mind. Riley stepped into the cell, he didn't like how she seemed to edge away from him, he wasn't going to hurt her..
He held the blanket out for her, keeping his eyes on Draven as best he could while also keeping an eye on Catherine, he suddenly felt very vulnerable in here.. It was only a split second before Draven's superior speed and strength instantly took hold of Riley's form, the needle that had been misfired in Cat's direction pricked into his arm. Draven's hand pressed Riley to the wall, the agent struggling before weakly sliding down the wall and sitting down with his back pressed against it. Draven's head tilted to the side trying to get Riley's eyes to focus on his own dark ones, it didn't make much difference, but it helped Draven focus easier.
"Fear not, I have a gift for you, but you must decide what to do with it." The Avenging Angel's pupils faintly glowed white for a moment as he passed on the memories he had taken from Catherine onto Riley. Draven's right hand rested gently over Riley's face while his left pinned the boy down by pressing it against his chest. But Riley's struggle continued, as soon as Riley started shaking his head, Draven pulled his hand away, Riley's hands quickly grabbing his head as he started yelling.
"Shut up Riley! Shut up! Coward!" Draven grabbed hold of Riley again as he started yelling, but it was only a moment later that the drug's effect took place and he blacked out.
"Oh well.. that worked well.." Spike spoke sarcastically, but Draven glared back at the vampire defencivly before looking back at Riley as his body rested down on the ground against the wall.
"I warned Catherine about giving her the memories, he had no warning, it can be a shock to the system, I've used this as a form of a weapon before. The mind and emotions of a person are very sensitive, especially in his state, it's bound to be confusing, they're not his memories, he's seeing himself through her eyes." Draven pulled the needle from Riley's arm and looked around, dropping his coat over the blanket Riley had given Catherine, Draven pulled Riley out to where all his study books remain. It was best if they didn't think anything strange had happened, if they where lucky, no one was watching the cells from the security room..
After making it appear as if Riley had drifted off while study, Draven stared at the panel, how to lock it with him inside? Spike looked over towards the door, if they suspected Riley remembered anything at all.. they'd just wipe him clean again.
"Let me out, I know what t'do.." After a thoughtful glance, Draven released Spike from his cell, Draven re-entered his cell with Catherine, and Spike closed them back in. It felt strange.. being free from the cell and then locking them back in it. But there was no chance they could escape through the doors, so there was no point in running about when there was the chance of escaping with Riley by surprise. The vampire looked about, then stared down at Riley for a while, his fingers scratched at the scare on the corner of his left eye brow as he moved towards the drugged operative.
"Alright... Riley opens the cell, I lunged out, push'im against'at cell, he punches me a couple o'times to get me off, I throw him across the room.. Scream in pain, he lunged at me.. I kick him off, more pain, he's knocked out cold, I'm rollin' 'round in pain jus' as Miss 'I like takin' advantage o'people an' creatures' enters the room." He went over the fake fight in his mind, positioning Riley as if he had been thrown over into the corner. Placing a hand over his cheek, Spike realized Riley would have left more of an impression.. he cringed at the thought.
"Right.. this is goin' t'hurt.." He pressed the button for Catherine and Draven's cell, Draven tilting his head to the side as Spike motioned for him to come out. Spike vamped out as Draven exited the cell once again, but the Angel hesitated as he realized what Spike was asking him to do.
"I do not like this plan of yours.." Spike paid no attention to Draven's complaint, pointing the finger of his right hand against his cheek stubbornly.
"They think we've done somethin' to Riley and he'll be blank as he was before an' we might not get the chance to do your lil'memory hocus pocus again." There was an awkward silence as Draven hesitantly stepped towards Spike, the vampire waited impatiently for the avenging creature to be done with him, his golden eyes focusing on the wall behind Draven. The sudden force that struck Spike's face was totally unexpected, the vampire was almost knocked off his feet, slamming into the glass barrier of Catherine's cell before letting himself fall to one of his knees.
"Bloody hell!" He yelled with a hand clamped over his cheek painfully, he didn't expect the creature to have that much power in his punch. With a groan, Spike motioned for Draven to get back into the cell, one punch was more then enough to leave a bruise. With a mumbled curse, Spike shut the cell, leaving Draven with a rather guilty expression upon his pale and darkly marked face. Spike open and closed his fanged mouth for a moment before simply allowing his body to collapse on the ground.
"Are you alright?" Draven frowned, he didn't like punching that creature, and now he felt worse seeing him slump his body to the floor like that.
"You got any idea how painful it'd have been to even nudge Riley off me? Throw him across the room like'at.. I'm jus' playin' dead.." Spike trailed off quietly, his back to the others as he closed his eyes layed patiently on the ground, he really hoped they could get away from here soon..
It wasn't long until Joan's promised return had caused the doors to slid open, the 3 other male agents with her all hastily rushed towards the two figures. One made sure Riley was still alive, the other two held their weapons out and aimed them at Spike as Joan examined him. With a tap of her foot, she rolled the undead creature onto his back, with no responce from him, she eyed Catherine thoughtfully before comfortably taking a seat upon the vampires stomach. She looked back at the cell that had been Spikes, then down at the vampire, with a faint curve in the corner of her lips, she pulled out a needle from within her vest, jabbing it down hard into the vampires chest though Spike didn't flinch, even though it hurt him.
"Take him down to Lab 45, leave him there, I'll take of him when I get there." Pulling it slowly from his flesh, Joan motioned for the two with the weapons to pick him up, to the last agent, she motioned for him to take Riley away.
"Might as well dump him off in his room, he'll need whatever rest he can get for tomorrow." As he dragged Riley off, Joan grinned faintly at Draven, glancing at her watch, she then held up her fingers, counting down from 4 until she got to her last remaining finger.. Just then, Cole returned, the demonic Layer fading into the cell right next to Draven, who didn't even get the chance to turn around before Cole teleported both the avenging soula dn himself off to A.Corp for more studies.
Joan stared thoughtfully at Catherine for a moment, before turning and heading off for the door, there was no point in saying anything, the fact she was left alone was more then enough to satisfy Joan.. besides, she had more pressing matters to get to..
Riley: So, tell me about your dream. As a Psych major, I'm qualified to go 'hmm.'
Re: The Initiative Holding Cells
She watched him lean forwards, his hand and head pressing against the barrier, when he looked up she saw that he looked hurt. Looking down guiltily at him for a moment then her eyes drifted away out towards Spike's cell.
'Why are you doing that? Why do you try and tell me I'm Riley, and then tell me how much you hate the guy?' She shrugged turning her body away slightly still not looking at him, she didn't even know why she was feeling the way she was feeling so how could she possibly explain it to him?
'Don't you understand.. you're tearing my world apart, you're going to destroy me before I even figure out what's going on.' She was only trying to help ... it wasn't like she was trying to hurt him purposefully or anything, she just wanted to help, she wanted the old Riley back, she didn't like this "new and improved" one.
She backed away slightly as he opened the door and entered, she looked almost warily at the blanket as if expecting him to produce a gun from underneath and try to shoot her again. She felt bad when Draven smashed Riley against the back wall, his hands gripping the agent fiercely as he slipped the consents of the tranquiliser into Riley.
'Shut up Riley! Shut up! Coward.' She started as Riley began to yell, his head shaking, part of her wanted to tell Draven to stop, he must be hurting Riley ... why else would he yell. Riley wasn't a coward, he'd tried to help her escape even though it had ended up with him not even knowing who he was anymore.
'I warned Catherine about giving her the memories, he had no warning, it can be a shock to the system, I've used this as a form of a weapon before. The mind and emotions of a person are very sensitive, especially in his state, it's bound to be confusing, they're not his memories, he's seeing himself through her eyes.' She looked down with concern at his slumped body, listening to the discussion the others were having with only one ear. Watching as they made their plans to cover up what had happened. She couldn't understand why they couldn't just break out, she didn't realise exactly how big the initiative was or how well guarded it was however Draven and Spike knew well.
She glared at Joan as she entered, removing all the people she knew from the room, Cat watched her leave feeling suddenly alone.
She stood for a few moments, uncomfortable about being left alone in a room with demons and vampires, she paced around her cell a few times, restlessly looking out. Listening half hopefully for the return of any of her companions half worried that the young agent who'd come in before might come back.
After a while she lay down, reaching down and pulling the blanket Riley had left free from Draven's coat. She pulled the grey material over her, it smelled of Riley, a warm, strong male scent which invaded her senses. She wasn't sure how long she lay there before she drifted off, to her it could have been only minutes or as long as hours.

Re: The Initiative Holding Cells
It was about midnight when Catherine had been left alone without her companions, the first one to return was Spike, Joan dumping the vampire rather quietly in Catherine's cell hoping she'd get a fright of being in the same cell with the creature. Since the vampire put up no resistance, everything went smoothly enough that Catherine's sleep hadn't been disrupted. It was later, just after 4am, so it was understandable that the girl was overly tired, Spike stared down at his restraints as he knelled sitting on the ground as far from the girl as he could. His wrists where only restrained, though they had put the belt around his waist and cliped his restraints to that so he couldn't move his arms.
He was lacking some of the item's of clothing he had left in, his socks, shoes, his shirt and belt, but if he was wondering where they had disappeared to he didn't seem to be showing it. Well he knew where they where, the female agent had taken them from him, if Catherine had been awake she would have seen Joan wearing a black shirt instead of her usual army gear. The mocking gesture had been unwelcomed by the vampire who had demanded its return, yet now he wasn't in any state to think of begging for his clothes to be returned to him.
Catherine shifted in her sleep, Spike instinctavly glanced towards her and pressed the side of his body against the wall in an effort to move away from her. Why was he suddenly so afraid of her? She might hurt him, if he was quiet and stayed as far away from her maybe she won't hurt him, she might ignore him, might pretend he's not there. But it was ok, it'll all be ok, because he wasn't staying here for long, his mother would come and pick him up, she'd take him away from here, because he didn't like it here, she'd come and take him back home.. or so he was telling himself..
Leaning against the wall, his back to the glass barrier, hidding in the corner, facing the walls as if thinking that if he didn't see the girl then the girl wouldn't see him. His upper body gently rocked back and forth, his forehead silently shaking as he disagrees with something only he is aware of. But what right did she have? She didn't have any.. but he was dead.. could a dead man complain? But she shouldn't touch him, because he was taken... wasn't he? Well... Rogue and he weren't really together.. either was he and the Slayer, but.. he still didn't think it was fair, it wasn't nice..
When he woke up with Rogue, he was happy, he felt so uplifted and relaxed, he was, for the first time in so long, actually happy, he felt great.. He'd never felt like that before, and part of him wanted to just go with her again, he wanted to have her make him feel like that again, but she was tired.. he had to leave so she could rest.. But this girl... it wasn't nice, he felt terrible, he felt.. worthless.. he was just flesh again, not a person, not a sentient creature that Rogue had made himself believe he was.. just flesh.. like when he was with Dru and Angelus.. flesh to be used and abused..
His hands tugged at his restraints, he wanted to cover his face, he wanted to cover his flesh, he wanted to hide, hide away from everything.. But then he thought.. why would his mother come for him? She said he caused her so much pain, so.. so now that he was here he couldn't cause her any more pain.. right? So why would she come to take him back if she could be rid of him? That's what she had said after he had sired her, when he asked what she'd like to do.. 'Why, take my leave of you of course' it's exactly what she had said..
Re: The Initiative Holding Cells
Catherine stirred, her body shifting uncomfortably on the hard ground, her dark eyes opening and staring at the wall infront of her, she couldn't feel the hand which had rested under her head anymore. She sat up massaging at her neck which was stiff with her hand which had feeling in it, then rubbing her deddened hand feeling pins and needles begin to spread through her finger's.
She wondered what time it was, the lights were still dim, her eyes travelled to the security desk but she couldn't see any sign of Riley. She caught sight of movement out of the corner of her eye, turning her head to see who it was.
'Spike!' She said sounding rather happy about seeing him, glad at least that there was someone she knew back, she didn't notice for a moment that he seemed to be lacking a quantity of clothing.
'Spike ... where are your shoes?' She asked once she registered their dissapearence. Her eyes flicked over his slightly rocking frame, trying not to appear too concerned for his welfare.
'Will?' It was the first time she hadn't referred to him by his vampire name, she thought he looked upset, tugging at the restraints he'd been bound in, trying to cover his face with his hands.
'Wheres Riley? Why hasn't he come back.' Her eyes strayed once again to the control desk, her eyes searching for the now familiar figure of Riley.

Re: The Initiative Holding Cells
At mention of his human nickname, the vampire partially turned his head towards the girl, but she had looked towards the security desk. He found it comforting when he'd rock his body gently back and forth, it was like when his mother would hold him after one of his father's beatings.. She'd wrap her arms around him and gently sway, cradling him in her arms in an effort to chase away his fears..
"I'm not Spike any more.." He whispered, ignoring her question about Riley, most likely he'd be asleep, they normally got up early for training.. so they'd probably see him within the next few hours..
"It's why Ro' started callin' me Will.. coz she saw into my memories.. she saw I'm not the demon, an' the demon's called Spike.." He stared at the wall ahead of him, tilting his head to the side as if he was staring at something rather interesting.. something other then a blank white wall.. He tugged lightly at his restraints again, lowering his head with a muffled sob as the doors to the detention room slid open. With a panic, Spike scurried from his corner to hide behind Catherine, peeking out from behind her just as Joan came into view. Taking in quick breaths, the vampire pathetically tried to hide behind the agile girl, causing an amused smile to twist the edges of Joan's lips.
As soon as Spike's hazel eyes saw the black shirt had been given to him by Rogue, worn the female who had used him for her own pleasures just like Dru had once done.. His eyes coldly glared at the shirt as he growled quietly, his teeth clenched together though he remained in his human appearance. The slightest movement by Joan however caused him to go silent as he darted out of sight and once again hide his eyes behind Catherine's back as he crouched down behind her.
"Play time kiddies, we've organised a special treat for you, I'm sure it'll prove quite the challenge.." Two male operatives moved into the cell as Joan spoke, at this, Spike did shift into his demonic face, growling at the two humans who nervously hesitated.
"We'll locked all the passage ways, there's only one direction you can go, and that's the arena, so you can either walk there with us, or be dragged there." She raised a small device, clicking a button and releasing Spike from his restraints, showing she had no fear of the demon.. who's growl was far worse then his bite.. As soon as one of the agents reached towards Catherine to grab her arm and pull her from the cell so they could hurry to the arena, Spike snarled, making sure the boy could easily see his fangs.. He wasn't going to let them touch her like Joan touched him.. he'd kill them, even if the pain of the chip became unbearable.. he'd kill all of them before he'd let them treat her like flesh to be used..
"Better keep your puppy on a leash Kitten, you're precious Riley is already in the arena, for every minute he's there alone, a vampire is let loose into the maze with him. For every five minutes, another type of demon will be sent in there.. how long do you think he can survive unarmed?" She glanced down at her watch, a faint smile spreading across her lips as she studied the time.
"By now..there's two vampires in there with him." Joan keenly allowed her eyes to wonder over Spike's bare chest after he stood up, causing him to duck back down behind Catherine with a hateful glare at the female agent. His hand grabbed at the jacket Draven had left behind.. slipping it over his bare upper body in hopes of avoiding her cruel gaze. He returned to his human form, as if signalling he wouldn't cause trouble, but he remained fearful.. remained as close to Catherine as he could with out touching her as he crouched down by her legs.
The agents left the cell and allowed her and the vampire to move freely, all three agents however pulled out their weapons, knock out darts.. since bullet's where rather useless towards a vampire. Spike glanced up at Catherine, his unusually strong animalistic nature showing much like it had done in Lost Angels, though Catherine wouldn't have seen him then.. Whenever he felt traumatized by something, but he was sane enough to continue interacting with things, he'd retreat into this mode.. because then everything seemed so much simpler for his mind to handle. His eyes dropped, staring idly at her feet, like a loyal pet, he was going to follow her lead entirely..
"The third vampire would have just been released into the arena." Joan smiled, though part of her was eager to rush them out of the cell so she could hurry and watch the training session.. It wasn't too hard a decision, Catherine leaving the cell and following Joan who had taken the lead ahead of them, the two other agents trailing behind them. Spike's eyes didn't once allow his cold gaze to shift from Joan's back..staring hatefully at the shirt she so proudly flaunted in front of him..
