Re: Last Stop, Harmony Church
The wait felt as if it was ten times as long for Spike then it really was, but still, almost half an hour had passed since they asked for her to see what was going on. Spike shifted about uncomfortably, his heel starting to anxiously tap very lightly but quickly on the ground in impatience. Sitting up more straight as he waited, eventually he shut his eyes and lowered his head downwards to try and see if he could hear her coming, but he couldn't.

"Sometimes he would have a cover over the pit, knew they where goners then, he'd fill the pit with water, clamp down the cover, couldn't get out. They all drown, water fills up an' floods it, they drown, all drown but the vampire, put the little girl in the hole and put on the cover, trap them in there, can't drown but can watch her drown.." He unbuckling the seat belt and standing, he left his seat as he continued mumbling to himself. His hands grabbing onto the head rests of the seats as he moved down the isles, he didn't like moving above, any more then he did about being restrained. But if something was wrong, and his senses where telling him there was something wrong, because a vampire could sense and smell fear as clearly as anything and he could feel fear all around him. He may not have been able to help the humans in L.A., but maybe he could see what's going on that's causing people to be so afraid. There was a slight shift to the left and Spike's arms gripped the seats very tightly and held his breath, his eyes tightly shut as he kept whispering to himself.

"Not on the tower, not gettin' thrown off.. no Angelus, only the Slayer, Slayer's not goin' t'throw me off." Opening his eyes and staring down at his feet, just in case the ground happened to open up beneath him, Spike breathed and very slowly began to let his fingers slip from the headrests of the seats. Quickly grabbing them once again, but then slowly freeing his hands of them as he very timidly took a step forwards. His hands still where ready to grab out at the head rests any second should there be a problem, but slowly he began to move without grasping every seat he passed.

Making his way down and towards to captains cabin, Spike only managed to walk a few feet before he noticed the attendant wasn't anywhere to be seen. So unless she was hiding she still had to be in the captains cabin, Spike glanced back at Tasha who had followed after him. The smell of fear was very enticing for a vampire, although it made Spike uncomfortable as well from all the terrible memories.

"Can't you feel'at Slayer? There's fear.." He whispered quietly so theother passangers around them didn't over hear, but just as he said that, a yell came from the front of the plane. Spike turned to face the guy, partially blocking Tasha's veiw of the armed man who was yelling for them to all stay in their seats and remain calm. It was a hard thing to ask for when you are waving a gun around on an aeroplane, but the people whimpered and some became tearful in fright.

"You two! Sit now!" Spike stared at the guy rather blankly, after all, a gun wasn't going to kill him, but slowly Spike glanced around at the seats around them, all of which where packed full with other people.

"An' what you want me to do, sit on their laps?" He replied rather sarcastically, only to have the armed man who was only about 5"8 in hight to step forward and hold his gun up more threatening towards Spike.

"Lay on the ground!" The man yelled in a change of mind, but Spike stared down at the floor, he didn't want to lay down, he folded his arms and stared at the armed man, ignoring the pleases of others for him to do as the man says.

"I bloody think not." The vampire replied idignantly at the thought of laying in the middle of the isle, he was really tied of people telling him what to do. Spike smirked slightly, he could smell the feat swelling within the man, obviously he wasn't as cold hearted and blood thirsty as some of the others Spike has met with, he didn't want to kill anyone, which was just fine with Spike. The vampire seemed to have disappeared from where he was standing and instantly standing in front of the armed man just a few meters ahead of where he once was. The vampires hand pulling the weapon away from the man and then his other hand punching the man out cold before bending the nuzzle of the long weapon. Spike glanced back at Tasha and then down at the guy, before looking over towards the captains locked cabin. Once again Spike looked back towards the Slayer, as if waiting for her to say what they should do, but then he frowned and moved over towards the door, giving it a knock with his knuckles.

Another darkly dressed man opened the doorm his face still looking towards the captain thinking it was his friend who had knocked to be let back in. There where two armed men in there, Spike grabbed the door when the other yelled for the door to be locked again. The vampire smiled slightly as the man tried to shut the door, but it was no use against Spike's enhanced strength. With a growl the vampire grabbed the man and pulled him out of the @#%$ pit, throwing him hard back against the wall and also knocking him out. There was a bang that caused some of the passangers to scream when they heard it, but the bullet hitting Spike's upper right arm only caused him to shift into his demonic form and roar out as he appeared in front of the man and grabbed hold of him, soon also shoving him hard into the wall just outside the @#%$ pit.

It was very easy for a vampire when up against guns, Spike left his left hand rest over his flesh wound wich would heal by the following day. His eyes loooking up towards Tasha as he shifted back into his human form and then at the attendant who was gagged and blind folded.

"Gotta say, not likin' the friendly service so far." He grumbled as the co-pilot looked over the two new faces, but then very worriedly, after correcting their course, blurted out to both Tasha and Spike.

"They put explosives on the wings of the plane, if they don't call every five minutes then their contacts on the ground said they'd detonat them!" He wasn't sure if he was grateful for the blonde man taking out the armed men, or if he was angry with him, after all, he'd rather be a captive then blown to bits! Spike frowned and then looked towards the Slayer, now he felt very bad, maybe they could wake one up and order them to call in so they don't blow up the plane..

Re: Last Stop, Harmony Church
The thirty-minute wait was long and boring, especially since Slayers weren’t known for their patience. Fives minutes, sure, maybe the flight attendant was stuck in a convocation with the pilot. Ten minutes, maybe she was just slacking off and taking her time getting back to Tasha and Spike. Twenty minutes, now she was just being a real pain, maybe the attendant found it amusing, but Tasha didn’t. Thirty minutes… Just hurry up!

"Sometimes he would have a cover over the pit, knew they where goners then, he'd fill the pit with water, clamp down the cover, couldn't get out. They all drown, water fills up an' floods it, they drown, all drown but the vampire, put the little girl in the hole and put on the cover, trap them in there, can't drown but can watch her drown.." Another mini-story about the wonderful place of Lost Angels, but it wasn’t too bad. At least it made Tasha’s mind think about the horrible place, and kept away the boredom. But her mind didn’t get to think much about Lost Angels as Spike unbuckled his seatbelt, stood up and began making his way slowly down the isle, grabbing onto the head rests.

As he quickly grabbed a tight hold onto one of the headrests, Tasha gave him a curious look, what was he up to? She heard his mumbles and grabbed for her own seatbelt, quickly unbuckling it with no troubles, getting to her feet and following after Spike. If something was going on she couldn’t let Spike have all the fun.

"Can't you feel'at Slayer? There's fear.." As Spike looked back to her the Slayer took a moment, she couldn’t feel fear as much as a vampire could but could still feel it. What was causing this fear? Other vampires? No… Demons? … No… she couldn’t sense anything demonic aboard the plane, then again demons weren’t really into causing trouble on planes. Humans didn’t mind though…

Hearing the scream Tasha had to shuffle a little to the right to peek past Spike and see what was going on. Her eyes narrowed as the man told them to sit, if only he knew what he was up against, though a gunshot could still be fatal to a Slayer. So, if something was going to happen she’d have to be careful, even with her enhanced reflexes.

"An' what you want me to do, sit on their laps?" From behind Spike, Tasha smirked, at least Spike wasn’t going to cower up and do as the highjacker said.

"Lay on the ground!" The Slayer’s dark eyes fell to the ground. No way was she going to lie on the floor. It may be cleaned after every flight, but she was so not going to lie on a floor where someone might have thrown up on previously. That was just gross.

"I bloody think not." Looking up from the ground Tasha eyed Spikes back, since that’s all she could see of him, before he moved away ever so quickly, took hold of the gun that the man threatened everyone with, knocked him out cold and bent the gun so it wouldn’t be of use to anyone else. The Slayer gave a smirk, almost proud of the vampires work, though a human shouldn't be of much trouble against a vampie. She didn't even bother saying anything as he looked over to her, surely Spike could figure out what was next...

With a knock on the door it was opened, obviously thinking that their friend wanted to return since they seemed pretty careless. That was until one of the two men asked for the door to be closed, but none of them men have enough strength to take on a vampire.

Tasha’s eyes remained cemented on what was going on, as if she were watching a movie. She had always seen first hand what it was like push someone up against a wall, what it was like to knock someone out. It was a new thing seeing it from the sidelines, but it was way better than how scriptwriters show things.

Hearing the bang Tasha looked up from the unconscious body and straight over to Spike. That only caused his demonic form to appear as he took out the last high jacker, another smirk forming from her mouth. As he looked over to her the Slayer noticed where the bullet was wedged in the upper part of Spikes right arm, nothing too fatal, then again guns weren’t really the best weapons to destroy vampires with.

Tasha’s eyes lowered to the flight attendant as the vampire spoke to her before she took a few steps forward closer to the pilots cabin, ignoring the attendant. She’d never agreed to ungagging and untying flight attendants when she became a Slayer, and since she wasn’t all that fussed about her someone else could always help her, no harm was coming her way as of now anyway.

"They put explosives on the wings of the plane, if they don't call every five minutes then their contacts on the ground said they'd detonat them!" She looked from the co-pilot to Spike, they had two choices at hand… One they could try and wake up on of the highjackers, which would be the safest bet, but not the easiest since they were knocked out cold. The other option was to take off the explosives, it was a crazy idea but it beat leaving the plane and everyone on it to blow up.

Pushing the second idea to the bottom of the list Tasha wandered over to one of the unconscious bodies. She stared down at the body for a brief moment then kicked him, not too hard, to see if he’d respond. With no reply at all she kneeled down, placed her right hand on the mans shoulder and shook it. He could have been mistaken as a dead person if it wasn’t for his breathing because that’s how lifeless the man remained. Grabbing hold of both shoulders Tasha pulled the man up and shook him harder, grumbling for him to wake up.

Tasha: "Well that plans outta the idea."

The Slayer got up to her feet quickly, she didn’t need a watch to tell her that five minutes was coming closer by the second, though how many minutes were left Tasha didn’t even bother to think about as she leant over some people to get a look out of their window, eyeing the explosives.

Tasha: "There’s only one way to stop them from blowing up the plane, isn’t there?"

She looked over her shoulder towards Spike as she spoke, her voice almost wanting another option. It would have been easier if some of those mutants from Xavier’s were around, some of them would have had useful powers to rid the explosives, or even the other Slayer, she could have teleported onto the wing and done it quickly. And if she fell to her death it wouldn’t be that big a loss, Tasha was still around!

Tasha shoved those thoughts out of her head, they didn’t need any mutants for this, or a mutant Slayer. There was a perfectly strong vampire and Slayer aboard the plane, it could still be done. Sure, it was a stupid idea, but both have probably done stupid things in the past, and there was certainly going to be more in the future.

Re: Last Stop, Harmony Church
Watching as the Slayer seemed eager to awaken unconscious bodies, Spike felt rather guilty over having knocked them out cold.. but honestly he wasn't used to dealing with normal humans, he forgot how weak they where! He smirked slightly as he watched her first kick one and then pulled the other up and shook him.

"Well that plans outta the idea." Spike's gaze followed hers as best as it could from where he was standing while she looked out towards the explosives. A cold shiver ran down the back of Spike's spine for some reason.. maybe he could sense what was about to be suggested.

"There’s only one way to stop them from blowing up the plane, isn’t there?" The vampire's pale arms folded over his chest rather defensively as his mind raced with thousand insane improbable and totally unrealistic ideas to combat the one he knew the Slayer was thinking about. If Rogue was here, she could fly out there, rip them off the wing and toss it clear from the plane without worries. Spike's eyes dropped away from the Slayer's after a moment as she spoke, but quickly rose back up to meet hers so it didn't look like he was as afraid as he felt. Spike's hand rested over his now human face as he mumbled something that resembled 'right then', though it could have easily just been a mumbled groan.

"I'll go, you go out there with me an' I'll be more focused on you then o'the problem, I know you could do it... but I don'want you t'risk your life when I'm just as capable of... fallin' off." It seemed at first he was going to say capable of getting the bomb, but he quickly altered what he was thinking and added what he was really worried about, he'd not cope if Tasha fell. He moved quickly over to the door of the plane, yelling for everyone to hold on as he opened the door with only some effort and the suction that rushed in was almost enough to pull him out.. There was a bit of a struggle for him as he stared down and then over towards the wing.. god.. it was far down and a leap to the wing..

"Oh.. bloody'ell.." How long did they have before the bomb went off? He couldn't wait, if he waits the Slayer.. and all the others on the plane.. would die. He was half pulled and half leapt from the door after a thought of failing the Slayer, his body flung hard against the wing, knocking the wind from him, lucky he didn't need to breath.. but it still really hurt him. While his arms grabbed desperately to the top of the wing, his legs searched for a foothold under the wing in order to help as he tried to pull his body up onto the wing. He looked over at a large thing on the wing, he wasn't sure what it was.. looked like a huge fan.. he didn't like anything that was spinning fast. Pulling himself up onto the wing, the wind whipping against him with a powerful force that was threatening to attempt to throw him off the plane.

Slowly at first but then more panicky, Spike shifted over towards the tip of the wing where the bomb was stuck to, it was silver, a small black screen with a countdown.. 1:24...1:20...1:15.. Spike went into an instant panic, one hand grabbing at the edge of the wing to keep him from sliding off and the other hand frantically tugging at the bomb, which was pinned down to the wing with a great magnetic force. ...0:35...0:23.. With a yell Spike's hands grabbed at the wing of the plane, his leg taking a turn in kicking out against the bomb. There was what felt an extremely loooong stretch of time before suddenly a blast was heard in the not too far off distance.

The terrified vampire's grip on the wing caused a small dent that probably would go unnoticed until the next close up inspection the plane goes under. It took a few minutes before he could even brave a look towards the door of the plane, and how in blazing hell was he supposed to get back there? Always like him, leaps into a problem without figuring out how he's going to walk out of it. His hands slowly pulled him across the wing of the plane until he reached the actual body of the plane. His hands where trembling, even if their strong grip on the edge of the wing hid the trembles, he just wanted to be back home, back in the school, back in Rogue's room, back in her arms, just laying in her arms like he had done before..

"I'll go, you go out there with me an' I'll be more focused on you then o'the problem, I know you could do it... but I don'want you t'risk your life when I'm just as capable of... fallin' off." As the vampire began speaking Tasha frowned a little, she didn’t like being told that she couldn’t do something, it hadn’t happened for a while, the last time it happened was when a Watcher had talked to her. She never listened to their advice anyway, she got the job done, wasn’t that all that mattered? As Spike moved on to say that he knew Tasha could do it, she eased up on him, he wasn’t like a Watcher, he was one of the things they hated, which made him way better than any Watcher! Risk her life… what did her life matter, it’s not as if Slayer’s were chosen to live on forever, many of them didn’t live for all that long anyway. Then again, Slayer’s had mainly died in battle with a vampire or demon of some sort not by falling off a plane… even though she wasn’t going to argue over who went out to pull of the bomb she still stubbornly felt that she still could have gone.

As Spike mentioned the thought of falling off instead of being able to get the bomb off, Tasha didn’t take long to figure out that the ancient vampire might have been a little worried over that fact. She knew he could do it, firstly he wasn’t just some normal weak human, he was a vampire who had been around for long enough to have a powerful strength. Secondly if he really wanted to get to Africa, to find the Shaman, to complete the challenges so he could get his soul, he’d be determined enough to get it done.

Once the door was opened the Slayer shooed a couple out of their seats so she could kneel on the seat and look outside as Spike made his way across the wing of the place to get rid of the bomb. As Spike clung onto the wing she shook her head at the thought of him falling, if he fell it’d be over. But, why was she thinking of him falling? He’d fail that way… The one thing Tasha hated yet feared at the same time. She closed her dark eyes for a moment, the only vampires that were aloud to fail were the ones who were soon to be at the end of a nice pointy wooden stake.

Her eyes opened to see that Spike was already at the bomb seeing him tugging away at the bomb. Again she wondered if he’d be able to get it off the tip of the wing in time or not. Quickly she realized that she didn’t hold much faith in others, it wasn’t because she was shallow or anything like that, it was because she wasn’t really used to it. As a Slayer she did most, if not all, of her work alone, she had no reason to put her trust into others.

With a kick, and a yell, the bomb was off the plane… it’s loud explosion later on making people aboard the plane either cheer because Spike had got it off or just scream in fright, the Slayer just feeling relieved that that was over. Tasha watched impatiently as Spike remained on the wing for a little while longer, it was safe now, well as safe as you can get when you’re on the wing of a plane that’s miles up, he could make his way back. Then finally he began his way back towards the body of the plane...

Getting up from her seat, she stepped into the isle and looked towards the open door before she moved towards the window again noticing that there was a little distance between Spike and the place he needed to return through. Stepping back into the isle she called out to the passengers asking if they had something to help Spike get back aboard the plane. A smug teenager called out saying that a plank of wood would do the trick, a few of his friends laughed. Rolling her eyes, Tasha wanted to remind them that they had just been saved from death by the vampire, but she didn’t have time to waste her breath on them. A little girl suggested a life jacket, a good idea from a four year old, but it wouldn’t quite do the trick!

She began making her way further down the isle asking people down this part of the plane. A woman pointed over to her husband who was fast asleep, which proves men can sleep though anything. Tasha wondered why she should possibly care about someone who was asleep, until Tasha noticed that she wasn’t pointing to her husband, but to the blanket he had covering him.

Whipping it off him, as well as taking someone else’s blanket, she tied the ends together and tugged on it, only to see her knots come undone. That plan wouldn’t work, definatly with the weight of someone underneath. Rubbing her forehead in an almost anxious manner she finally came up with something… a strong rope should do the trick! Only, who would bring rope with them on a plane?

Again she began running down the isles asking if anyone had rope, ignoring the comments from the teenage boy and his friends. Reaching the end of the isle, no one replied saying that they had any. The muffled voice from the gagged flight attendant the only noise to be heard. Turning around Tasha’s eyes narrowed on the attendant, now wasn’t the time to untie her, honestly could she see that? Turning back the other way she made her way back down the isle, she was going to go down the stairs onto the other level of the plane, maybe someone down there had some rope, but she stopped at the voice of the flight attendant, which made the Slayer spin back around. She had been untied by a passenger and finally became of some use as she told Tasha about rope being stored in the back of this level of the plane. It was there for emergencies and this was a good enough reason for it to be used.

Rushing down the isle again, being followed by the attendant, Tasha was shown where the rope was stored. Yanking the rope from it’s home she tested it’s strength with a quick, but strong, pull, it seemed strong, as well as long, enough for the job, hopefully this would work. She quickly made her way to the open door of the plane, her hands gripping onto the side of the doorway as her head stretched outside, causing her hair fly backwards in all different directions.

Tasha: "You did a good job! Now grab onto this."

After calling out to Spike against the strong winds going everywhere with the plane she threw out the rope. Only to see it just flop down and trail along the path that the plane was flying, in the opposite direction of Spike. That was just prefect! Tasha hadn’t yet thought about the doorway being in the wrong position, so no matter how hard she tried the rope would always go in the opposite direction of Spike.

Stepping back inside the slayer remembered another door a little further up the plane, the rope would still follow the direction of the plane, but this time it would be in Spike’s reach. Running down the isle, passing the wing, she opened the door, not even warning the people of her actions, they could be smart enough to figure out what she was up to.

Tasha: "Alright, try this one."

She called out once again as she peered through the doorway and threw the rope. This time it did it’s proper job and ended up bashing against the side of the plane nearby Spike. this gave him two choices of how he could go about the rope pulling him back onto the plane; he could grab onto it, or try to tie it around himself, since there was enough rope for that to happen. While waiting for the vampire to take a hold of the rope Tasha positioned herself, getting ready to pull Spike back on.

Re: Last Stop, Harmony Church
The instant the rope lashed about beside him Spike wanted to grab it, but his hands clung tightly to the wing of the plane, closing his eyes, the vampire let one hand grab the rope. His breathing was very panicked, so he stopped breathing all together to hide the fear as best he could. When his other hand grabbed onto the rope his body jerked backwards as if it was about to be thrown off the wing, causing him to cling even tighter to the rope. Opening his eyes as his body was inching closer to the edge of the wing as he held the rope and was being pushed by the strong winds, but after a moment he stopped resisting the force and stood up, giving a quick jump as the winds threw his body towards the open door and the slayer, the vampires ability to climb walls obvious when he clung to side of the wall with one hand in the door way before inching himself into the safety of the plane. The loud currents of the wind left him a little momentarily deaf to the sounds about him as his hearing took a few minutes to adjust.

Glancing about, Spike stared at the others in the plane, some of who where very happy, but he just looked rather miserably towards Tasha before making his way towards their seats. They wouldn't clap if they knew he was wasn't human, but that wasn't the reason he was upset, he was upset because he was so scared before, stupid fear of heights, it was pathetic since even if he did fall from the plane he can't die from that, not unless his dead manages to fall off or he lands on a stake (unknown to him at this time he can't die from being staked either). Letting his seat fall back slightly as he sat down again, the vampire curled up comfortably in his seat and closed his eyes, he was very cold, even for a vampire, but that didn't bother him at all really.. He had more important things to sulk about.. and he really hoped none of the trails involved high places.
