OOC_ My post keeps getting deleted, much to my annoyance...
IC- In mandi's mind, many images flashed by. All of them telling the horrific story of what had happened from when she stepped off the jet back at the institute to where she was running down the halls towards the laboratory. She shook as she cleared the images, the sounds, the smells and feeling of everything as she had gone through it all.
" Now do you see, telepath? You know now what I know!" She stated.
Re: Healing the Unknown...That's because I keep trying to post and I delete it so I can post in my last post, yesterday my computer shut down and you had posted again today and I just finished it so I deleted your post before, sorry.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
She was shaking slightly as she looked at him, her face paling. "Then What's going on!?" She demanded. Her confusion was not helpping her in getting calm but the meds that had been given to her earlier were. She canceled out all of her abilities that may have been showing themselves and fell into a sit, hand to the side of her head. < Am I in some coma or somehting?> She wondered to herself. She just felt tired now.. So very tired emotionally and mentally.. nevermind physically... She was also getting a headache.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
There was a pause in his reaction before Jarod slowly blinked and then had a quick word with his father, showing the elder Xavier what he had seen. After a moment, he built up the strength to speak to the other dimensional mutant..
"My father has no memories of you.. and Remy Lebau is alive, right now he is with Wolverine and Cyclops.. all of them are gettig along fine. In fact he should be returning from their mission on Monday.." The young Telepath assured her quietly, trying not to upset her, hoping the chance of meeting Gambit would stop her claims that he was murdered.. even though Jarod saw it himself in her memories..
He really did want to ask if she was alright.. but that wasn't really something that he could ask without her probably snapping back at him.. after all.. she wasn't really alright, was she? She was in a world where her memories where different to those around her..
"Would you like a room to rest and recover.. you appear tired, sleep might be good for you.. if you have problems with nightmares, I could surpress the memories while you are resting." He offered, unsure if she'd want that, but sensing she needed a good rest without being woken up by such terrible flashes of her past.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Mandi sank down into a sit, her eyes brimming with tears then over flowed, the tears spilling down her cheeks. Her hands slowly came up, shakily to cover her face. " Remy.... He's alive here..... Wherever here is......" She whispered. Her body trembled from held in emotions and fatigue. She was also scared... The realization of being in another dimension and time-line had ome to her and she didn't know what to do... But one thing was clear... she'd be able to see her beloved again.. and possily keep a murder from happening in a couple years.... Before she could reply, unconsciouness had caught up to her again.
Re: Healing the Unknown...(OOC- Sorry for not posting here for a while.. x_X)
Both sixteen year olds watched in silence as Jarod probed Mandra's mind. Toby didn't really think much of it, after all he's known other mutants for a long time and watching them use their powers was hardly anything exciting. But Lauren was amazed as she watched, the Telepath's powers may not have been as colourful as Mandi's but it was still interesting to watch.
As Jarod and Mandi talked Toby became more interested with what was going on, but they didn't really give much information away on what happened. How come information was always kept away from him?
Toby: "... Not again!"
The boy grumbled, obviously annoyed with Mandi fainting again. Was this some past time of hers or something? Lauren just gave a worried look over to the unconscious body. This couldn't be healthy for her... But then again what did Lauren know about health, after spending meal times avoiding fruit and vegetables? But then again, that was different and had nothing to do with what was going on now.
Lauren: "Will she be alright?"
Her voice was really questioning, as if she was questioning her own question, which the luck-altering mutant was sort of doing. Mandi was out cold and she asked if she was going to be alright, what kind of question was that? She looked back up to Jarod waiting for his answer, as if he was supposed to know all of the facts. Well, the telepath would know a little more he knew Mandi had gone through...
Once at the doors, Dawn was very relieved when Beast had hurried to help take Mirks weight off them, carrying the fish boy to a bed so he could see what was wrong with him.
"He just collapsed Mr. McCoy..." Dawn informed the doctor as he begant o look over Mirks vital stats and health, Dawn's eyes travelled over towards the two students and then Jarod who she didn't know.. and the woman who was also being taken care of as well she wasn't familiar with.
"Is he going to be ok Beast?" Dawn's worried voice asked as her eyes flickered over towards Mirk once again.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Sam glared around angrily when no one moved to help. "What's wrong with you people, we've got an unconscious fish-boy here! Someone help us out!" She looked at the people in the room who just looked back, as if they didn't understand. "Move! Come on, I'm not a doctor!"
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Jarod was busy hovering beside Madni who had fainted once again, he ddn't want to leave her to be alone after that.. his eyes looked over towards the new students that entered the room. He noticed that one of htem looked unwell, watching as Beast hurried over to take care him, carrying the boy off to another bed as he started going over what might have caused him to collapse.
"Is everything alright?" It took a moment for Beast to mumble an unsure comment that couldn't even be heard by the group. Jarod looked back at the students before focusing once again on Mandi, he wished he knew some way to make her feel better..
"Perhaps you students should hurry off, it's getting late and perhaps it's time to head to your dorms." Jarod stared over towards Beast as he spoke to them, then once again back down at Mandi, still not really wanting to leave her alone. Maybe Beast would let him stay until she at least woke up, so she didn't wake up in a room all by her self.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
There were dreams.. horrible dreams.. they were made from the memories of things that had just been re-surfaced in her mind..... She wanted to scream.. To just keep screaming, never to stop.. But she held it all in, just watching in anguish as the images unfolded all around her. At the explosion part of the nightmarish memory, Mandi bolted up into consciousness. She hid her wince and bit her lower lip. Mandi then looked down at her hands which were folded in her lap. There, she remained silent. She was lost... Not even in her own world...
Mandi got up and just walked past everyone silently, looking at the floor on the way by... She.... She was scared in being so lost. Everythng she ever knew had already been flipped upside down inher own world but now it had flipped again and was like she had never existed. Nothing already would have been the same again.. but this was a step beyond it. Mandi wondered if she really did die and had been sent to hell. She continued walking until she was out in the hall then leaned against the wall to think.
OOC- I may be lacking posting skills due to me having a concussion right now.
Sam was still staring in disbelief at the others in the room and didn't notice Mandi's exit. Didn't they care that her friend might be dying? Well...he wasn't technically her friend. Actually they'd just met and her cat had tried to eat him but still...he seemed like a nice enough guy for a fish-boy. A little shy but nice enough...
Sarah was a little more observant of Mandi's movements, as she left Sarah bounded from Samantha's shoulder and out the door to follow her to where she was standing outside. "Reow?" She asked in her kitten language, that one could guess translated to "are you alright," while ramming her fury head against her ankle to get her attention. "Reow?" She repeated.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Mandi looked at the cat that had bumpped into her ankle, obviousely trying to get her attention. She cocked her head and watched it then remembered it was a cat of one of the people that had been in the room when she left. It was a vague memory of seeing the people but she had also been in a little bit of a zone. Mandi reached out her hand slowly for the cat to rub on if it wanted to... Even if there was a chance that the cat could be a mutant in a cat form or something.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Sarah rubbed her head against the girl's hand grateful for the attention. She began to purr and mew happily just as Sam began to wonder where her kitten had gotten off too. She followed the sound of purring outside to where Mandi was, the girl looked tired and drawn and Sam had thought she'd seen the girl in the lab before but she shrugged it off, not being the kind to ever remember anything.
"Hello, that's Sarah...she won't bite or anything, she loves everybody." Sam said approaching the girl and sliding down onto the floor against the wall opposite the girl. "I'm Sam by the way..." Sam was concerned that the girl looked sick and maybe a bit sad but she couldn't really understand people's feeling well enough to try and help with them, so she just sat in silence. If the girl wanted to talk about it she would, if not, she wouldn't.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Mandi looked at the girl that was sitting across from her then went to reply but didn't have the heart to speak. Instrad, she raised a hand and made a gesture, allowing her name to form out of water before dismissing the ability and letting the water drop to the floor. She then looked down at where the water lay on the cool stone tiles. Mandi continued to let the kitten rub against her other hand.
Re: Healing the Unknown...(OOC- Sorry about not posting for ages here again! x_X)
"Perhaps you students should hurry off, it's getting late and perhaps it's time to head to your dorms." Toby was more than happy to be told that he could go. Spending his first day back sitting in the med bay with a girl that kept fainting, wasn’t his idea of fun. Lauren just looked over to where Madi laid, wondering wether or not she’d be okay.
As she was about to leave, Madi woke up again, Toby just wondered how long it would be until she fainted again. Lauren was going to ask if she was alright again, but she seemed to remain silent as the other dimensional girl walked out of the Med Bay. Maybe if she followed after her… but it seemed another girl had gone out to talk to her, the one that had come in the fish-boy, not noticing the cat at all.
Deciding that she may as well leave now and get some rest, or maybe have a walk around the institute to get herself familiar with this place. The institute was a big place and for a girl that could get lost easily, this place could quickly turn into a nightmare! After she reached to hallway she looked over to Mandi, well at least she wasn’t alone right now… Lauren could have gone over to talk to her as well, but her shyness kept her from going over to talk. Instead she just turned around and walked the other way down the hall, seeing Toby just ahead of her, his steps were more happy. He was finally away from the strange girl that fainted heaps of times.
Re: Healing the Unknown..."That was cool." Samantha said looking at her reflection in the puddled water. Sarah crawled into the girls lap insisting that she get more attention. "Where do you get the water to do that? Do you just create it? Or is it already there?" She was really just trying to get the girl to talk, she seemed a little too quiet. Sam had seen it before, when someone was facing something really bad a trauma of some sort they always seemed to get really quiet and withdrawn. It was never a good thing.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Mandi petted the feline with one hand and just produced more wather in the other hand.. Well, not IN it but about an inch above it in a small golf-ball sized sphere, showing that it was forming on it's own and not from another water source. Then, letting the water dro to where the puddle was on the floor, she let go of that element and went to fire. Flames suddenly ignited about a milimeter above the water, evaporating it within a second or three then Mandi dismissed them, leaving only a clean and warm spot on the floor.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
OOC: Hello? *waves hands* Fish boy...on table...waiting for Doctor...Doctor is just standing there staring into deep space...HELP HIM!
(ooc-Don't be rude Piotr, what exactly did you want the doctor to find to be wrong with you, since we don't have one and someone has to NPC Beast, perhaps some information on what you want to be discovered will be helpful)
At first Jarod wasn't sure what he should do, did Mandi want to be alone or did she want company? He got to his feet, slowly making his way over to the door, as it slid open and he looked out towards her and the small feline, Jarod offered the elemental summoner a faint smile.
"If you wish.. I can take you to a room that you may use for as long as you wish to remain here." Once again Jarod looked down at the kitten, he had never seen a real cat before.. as odd as that sounded. Well Jarod hasn't seen much of anything in the world since he spent his entire life in the A.Corp chambers doing work for them. He may be extremely smart, but he'd rather have gotten a chance to see more of the world and life his life instead of being a prisoner of that group.. he was starting to realize just how much he's really missed out on.
Re: Healing the Unknown...
Mandi looked at Jarod, who had just come out into the hall then at his question, she nodded a little tiredly. She might as well get a room of her own for now until she decided what to do or until she was recovered from her wounds. Placing the kitten down on the floor, she stood and looked at Jarod, waiting for him to lead the way.
