For the time being, it seemed as if their fight would just be a stare-down. Ray was fine with that for the moment. He knew the man could teleport, and it would be used once they engage in combat. Using this time, he began to run multiple senarios through his mind for how the fight could occur. Most were him getting injured or the man escaping, which reminding Syndicate to not get his hopes up, but it also allows for a better battle strategy.
He followed the man's eyes as he glances over to Spider-Girl, which showed that Cole could care less about this confrentation. It could be used to Ray's own battle plan, but it would also mean he's in more danger than it seemed. Popping his neck, Syndicate slowly treks towards Cole, yellow energy still dancing around his hands. It was clear that the symbiote was being irritated by this and wanted to peel itself away, but somehow Ray was keeping it on. He would need it if he was going to survive.
"If you wish to fight.. then I'm waiting.. if you're are just going to stand there... then I have far more important business to attend to."
Cole's words didn't faze Ray. He already knew Cole thought he was worthless and not worth the time, so why should it bother him. He stared at the hellfire bouncing around his opponents body, then down to the energy around his hands. Not much of a fight. I hit him, he flies back. He hits me, I fly back and get burned. I guess it's just something I have to deal with. He then stops, only two meters away from Cole. Cletching his fists, the little sparks and particles of energy solidify into spheres. Syndicate then slams his hands together, sending a bright yellow concussive blast towards Cole, and keeps his guard up just in case the man teleports.

Since shimmering doesn't drain Cole's energy at all, he disappeared before the beam of energy could touch him, of course Cole, being a high powered Demon in the employ of Lord Kayel, could withstand a large amount of beatings.. he had little knowledge of the power this boy possessed. And even Cole prefered taking the side of caution when dealing with the unknown.. well.. most of the time, depending what state his mind was in.. Balthazor had no problems rushing in blindly to attack, but he had to control his demonic urges otherwise the Dark Lord might not be pleased with him. It was perhaps long dragging seconds before Cole reappeared where he had been standing before, another superior smirk lingering mockingly upon his lips.
"Well.. that was rather disappointingly dull.." He sighed rather boredly, but took a slow step forward as the sound of helicopters where heard approching.
"But I do think we can find a use for you.. I think I'll allow you to join young Miss Parker in her new room." If Ray hadn't noticed yet, he might have now if he bothered to quickly glance around for the female symbiont host. Cole had used Ray's attack as a chance to take May easily without Ray focusing enough to notice. Cole disappeared moments later, the ground of the roof instantly charging with high bolts of electricity from Gwen.
Seconds passed and large hands grabbed hold of Ray from behind, unfazed by the high voltage currents all around them, instantly, both Syndicate and Cole shimmer from the building.. heading for the A.Corp Chambers.
