Murray walked back along the grounds. It seemed there wasn't anyone around to tell him what was going on, why no one was around so he made his way back inside the institute, stopping in the front door when he saw a woman he had never seen before standing just past the fence.
He then heard the alarms and realised what was going on.
"You're not just a new arrival are you?" he asked rhetorically. "What do you want with us? If you came meaning harm on anyone I swear you'll find yourself living a cursed life," Murray said in a low and dangerous voice.

"D'you need any help?" the white-haired asked not really knowing whether to address the woman or the guy on the other side of the fence. Or how to help having that thing in the way at all. He knew he was somehow able to fly but as to now, the mutant had never managed to do it by will.
He didn't want to fight. He was able to, the one and only advantage of that internat-like school he had been forced to live in, but after his powers had awakened some years ago, it wasn't safe. Neither for bystanders nor even for himself.
A cold wind came up as Tempest began to feel uneasy. *I shouldn't have interferred in the first place... talkin' to strangers means nothin' but trouble...*

"Who are you and whose side are you on? She's trying to sneak in and it looks like you are too. I'm warning you don't come any closer if you're an enemy."

*threatening someone? having a word-fight? being annoying?*
"...argueing. I don't think we're enemies... are we?" Tempest looked totally confused. That wasn't exactly the reaction he had expected but hearing the aggressive subtext in the other's voice, the white-haired thought it to be necessary to add something. "A-and if you attack me I can't guarantee for anything"
"Don't you have something to say?" cocking his head a little, he looked at the woman, his eyes misted by uncertainty, not knowing what to do.

Murray's tone quieted a little but there was still suspicion and a sense that he didn't totally trust the white haired stranger.
"You didn't answer my question. I asked who you were," he repeated.
"I didn't mean to attack you, verbally or physically but If you're trying to get in I need to know why and so does the Professor," Murray finished, still quietly but his eyes never leaving the stranger.
(OOC: I've been waiting a week for a reply from her so I'm not sure if the character is still here or what. I guess we'll wait and see.)

*NO stop it you idiot! What if that big guy is somehow wired with them?!* He stopped in the middle of the sentence and correcting himself,
hoping it hadn't been too obvious. The white-haired knew he might be able to tell the truth... but later. Much later when he was sure those people
could be trusted.

OOC: Well we'll continue to that point and you can come in when you get back.
Murray still looked somewhat suspicious but at long last he nodded. "I'm Curse," he said, noting that the stranger had used his codename and using his.
"The Professor is helping me with my powers I'm sure he can help you if you're dedicated and will work hard. Still if you don't have an appointment and the Professor doesn't know you're coming I'd better send someone to fetch him," Murray said.
"So you don't want to tell us your real name?" Murray questionned bluntly. "What's her deal? Does the other one talk at all?"
Bobby walked through the grounds quietly, thinking to himself as he often did when there was no one around to have a laugh with. As he walked he looked up into the blue sky, scattered slightly with odd puffs of pure white cloud. The cooling breeze that filled the air danced about him, making him a little more comfortable to be in the sunlight.
He looked ahead of himself to see two people he didn't know, he liked to try to get to know people around here, especially if he was going to be working with them sometime.
He walked up to the pair; Hope im not interupting he thought to himself. But if he was it was to late if he was as he found himself standing next to the two;
"Hi," he said cheerfully, a big smile on his face, his silver-blue eyes shifting from one person to the other, "Im Bobby, haven't seen you two around here, jus like to say hey, what you up to?".....

"Great" Kane grinned hearing he'd most probably get help "I'll wait here, no prob. 's a nice day and all"
"So you don't want to tell us your real name?" The cold breeze who had stopped for a moment came back lightly but still discomforting.
"No... sorry but.... no. As long as I don't really know you... all of you... it's better to think of my human alias to be dead." Hesitatingly he went on.

Making clear he didn't want to talk about it, Tempest looked up at the sky where clouds - again - began to move towards the sun, trying to stop its
light from warming the earth.
"Go... away" he mouthed, reached for those nasty fluffy things with his power and banned them from the sky. It was exhausting - untrained as he was - but it worked.
*Hey, seems that's really the right place!* the whitehaired thought incoherently and realizing Curse had said something, he shrugged concentrating
on him again.
"Dunno, I've never seen her actually. Maybe she's just shy?"
It was just then that he noticed a blond man who stood just a few meters away, grinning for no reason.
Tempest nodded, a kind of welcoming smile on his face although he felt odd about it - standing on the other side of the fence and and not even really
*belonging* to them. *Not yet, Kane but all can change. Think positive*
"I'm... Tempest. Waitin' to see the professor, actually, wanna become a student" Being confronted with Bobby's unconditional cheerfulness and
openness, Kane felt strangely bad only introducing himself with his codename. He just couldn't help it.

Bobby noticed the cool reception he got from this 'Tempest', but he wasn't about to take it personally, many people who come to join are protective at first, it came as a kind of second nature to mutants;
"Well, I'm also known as IceMan. Im sure the professor will allow you here with open arms, as long as your sincere about your reasons." he said with a lessened smile.
He looked up and watched the cloud divert itself around the warm sun, knowing that someone was playing with it, but he wouldn't mention it, the young man seemed nervous enough as it was in his new surroundings;
"Its getting warm out aint it, i mite be going in in a bit if either of you wants to join me." Bobby smiled, "Not one for overly warm weather, as i expect you have realised by my name." he grinned....

"Sorry" Tempest muttered quietly knowing hardly anyone would know why. Slowly, he loosened his mental grip and let the clouds do whatever
nature had planned for them to do. It was amazing how easy those small things were to accomplish. That wasn't why he had come here in the first
place anyway; his real problem showed itself when he really began to panic or got extremely angry.
*Why can't I just be more like that Bobby-guy? All trusting and sunshine* Kane thought looking askingly at Curse.
"Would it be ok to wait inside?"

Murray thought for a moment, a little unsure and distrusting still but finally nodded and stepped aside.
"Come on in Tempest," Murray said, trying to look friendly but not entirely succeeding. Suspicion just seemed to be a part of his nature.
"The Professor can read minds so maybe he can already tell you're here and is coming as we speak." Curse hoped so. It was already far too uncomfortable to just stand around here, he had to go do something but he didn't trust the stranger alone in the institute. Until Xavier or someone else came along he'd have to stay put.

Kane smiled halfheartedly back and as if reading Curse's mind, he said "Don't worry. Iceman is able to stop me if I wanted to attack someone, I reckon." It was partly meant as a joke but afterwards he had the feeling it didn't really come out as such.
Grabbing the fence with one hand, he jumped over it and landed gracefully on the other side.
"Let's go?" he asked Bobby, at least *trying* to appear cheerful while he was in a state where "nervous" was something he *wished* to be. However, having still his emotional control, the only effect was the constant blowing of that cool wind.

Bobby looked over at Tempest, he could see that the man was itching to get somewhere quiet and rest...alone. But for now he must be patient.
He glanced at Murray just before he began up the small stairs and into the entrance to the large school mansion;
"You wana walk with us?" He asked smiling, the grin wide on his face, his eyes lighting up. He had his suspicions about this 'Tempest', he could see Murray did too, but it wasn't his place to act upon them until the Professor had met with him.....

Bobby entered the large entrance hall, it was alive with the movement of pupils and adults alike, Xaviers school had become a home to so many people in childhood that they had stayed and encouraged others to come and expand themselves here as they had, much like Bobby had done. And, like Bobby a number of them had even become part of the infamous 'X-Men'.
Bobby walked deeper into the frantic movements of the people around, he turned to check the door quickly to see if Murray was following before speaking, he hoped Murray would come along, this 'Tempest' seemed very edgy, it was always good to have a second pair of eyes helping when suspision lurked;
"Welcome Tempest, to Xaviers School for Gifted Youngsters. This is the best place you can be, you will be safe here, others will attempt to contest that, but i assure you, Professor Xavier will do everything in his power to keep this school and its pupils safe from harm. You will meet with him, and from there you will begin to learn to master your powers, and become a competant and strong mutant."
Bobby spoke with a large smile, he remembered a similar talk when he arrived at Xaviers, and it brought back memories hearing him echo the words.....

Murray followed Tempest and Bobby, knowing that since Bobby's power wasn't eyes in the back of his head it was probably best to follow along and keep his own eyes on this Tempest character.
He felt unsure about leaving that women behind at the gates but was quite sure that someone else would be just as capable as he for keeping tabs on her. Logically Tinkerbell would be the best choice he thought. After all her power allowed her to shrink and basically be the perfect watchdog. Murray made a mental note to find Tessa as soon as Xavier had checked over this Tempest character.
"If anyone can help you the Professor can. I can show you a room if you're accepted," Murray said quickly, still feeling that Tempest was hiding something and it wasn't exactly small. The lady outside couldn't be so bad and Tessa surely had other things to do. He'd ask her about playing watchdog later.
