(OOC: I understand Angie, that's why I never really have timing things set up on my storylines. I think Storm really likes doing that though, not that I mind of anything, since he set up the same thing at SD with the meeting time and all. Thanks for allowing more time if needed )
Murray walked into the office and slumped into a chair across the desk from Kurt.
"Okay I'm sure we both have things so do so let's let this over with painlessly," he said before the blue mutant could say anything.

The mutant prist began, unsure how to handle this boy
Kurt:"I vanted you to ask me two questions, und I ask you two questions, in a vay to try und get to know you..but I see you are not yet ready. I vill not ask you here against your vill Murray, but when you vish to talk vith me, I shall alvays be ready to listen."
He gave the young mutant a stern yet assuring smile.
Kurt:"The only thing I vill ask of you Murray, vhen you feel like you don't vant to be vith us any more, tell me, und ve vont force you to stay on ze team if you have no insterest in being part of ze group."

"Hold on a moment," Murray said frowning slightly. "You asked the others questions right? As much as I don't want to be here I respect the Professor too much to walk out. I told him I'd give blending a try," the cursed mutant said, spitting out the word blending distastefully.
"Ask away with your two questions. I may not want to be here but I'm putting in some effort," Murray paused before continuing in a lower tone just loud enough for the blue mutant to hear,"At least when I fail I can say I did give it a try."

With a proud smile Kurt placed his arms on the table and thought carefully over what he would like to ask Murray.
Kurt:"Very vell."
He gave a faint nod of his head as he thought.
Kurt:"Vere vould you go if you veren't here?"
His tone was curious and his eyes paused over Murray's expressions before continuing on with his next questions.
Kurt:"You shrug off our meeting as if you do not care, yet vhen I give you a chance to leave, you vish to stay, you vant to try, yet you're are sure you shall fail..."

Murray's mouth fell slightly open. He had to admit that those questions weren't exactly what he had thought would be asked.
"Hold on a moment I'm not trying to fail," Murray said quickly, placing emphasis on the word not. "Look when you're cursed like I am things are..well normal things are hard. I can't work in a group without worrying about if I'll kill them through a curse. It's just safer for everyone if I stay away," Murray said, his tone was quiet and his eyes wouldn't meet Kurt's.
Inside Murray marvelled at how much he was actually telling this reletive stranger. He'd never been so open before with anyone.
"I don't want to fail okay, it's just..it's like I'm doomed or something. I've got powers I don't want and can't control so how can I possibly succeed?" Murray asked, looking up at last, his own unsteady eyes meeting Kurt's.
He tore his gaze away after a moment and shrugged. "Well I dunno, I guess I'd be backpacking across Europe, just trying to find places to stay for a brief time. I don't really have anywhere to go but I can take care of myself. I'd do just fine alone."

The Priest lowered his head for a moment.
Kurt:"You have power you don't vant? Und you can't control zem? I know zis is going to be hard for you Murray, but vhile you are part of zis team, you vill learn to control your powers, und you shall succeed. I have faith zat zis is true."
He tried to smile, but at the same time he wasn't sure how to respond, this was so personal, and he barely knew the student..
Kurt:"You may do fine alone..but you're not alone at ze moment, you have us, und me, und as long as ve are part of your life zen ve vill be zere to help you. I believe you are strong enough to control you're powers, all you have to do is believe has vell, have more faith in you're self, und know zat no matter vhat happens, I vill always believe zat you tried your best, because zat is vhat you have said you vill do, your best."
He paused, allowing his words to sink in with the boy before continuing on.
Kurt:"Now for my part of ze bargin, iz zere any two questions you wish to ask me, about anything...anything at all to do vith me or even ze institute?"

Murray thought for a moment, shugging off the elf's comments. He didn't think it was possible to control his powers and at the moment no one would be able to convince him otherwise, let alone some blue mutant he barely knew.
"Yah I got a question or two," Murray said. "What happens to mutants if they fail, I mean if they don't meet whatever requirements the Professor has. Are they like cast out or locked away or what?"
He tried to pretend that the question didn't mean anything to him but couldn't help it.
"And for the other one how are the members of specific teams chosen? Do you draw them out of a hat or eeny meanie miny mo or what?" Murray finished, hoping the answers would be quick but honest.
He couldn't stand it when people lied to him or lessoned the truth to make others feel better. It certainly didn't help him to feel any better.
Kurt:"Zen zay vill have to make a choice, do zay vant to try again, or vould zay razer give up? Ze Professor doesn't have any requirements Murray, he only has a dream. Und zat dream is us, just by being here, by giving him ze chance he desires to make zis vorld better, zat is all he cares about."
His yellow eyes wondered why the young mutant would ask such questions, why did he have so much pain that he couldn't see when someone was just helping him out of the kindness of his heart?
Kurt:"Once you fail, zere is nothing ve can do to change zat, but ve can give you unother chance. Vhen I failed, I vas given choices, und I chose to leave, vent to my old home und became a priest, but zat didn't stop ze pain inside me or around me."
With a flick of his tail and a slight twitch of his pointy ears, the blue mutant thought over his last answer.
Kurt:"Honestly, vhat ze Professor thinks vhen he choses ze teams, is a mystery to me, vhen ve vhere called to his office, he handed us sheets und ve where told ve vhere leaders un co-leaders of verious teams. Maybe he chose on zere powers und abilities, maybe zere personality, only both ze Professor und God are aware of zat answer. My forgiveness zat I could not be more informative in my response."
Standing, finally his last student, other then Connor, who didn't appear to be around, the furred mutant would have to probably go look for the young boy. He smiled down at Murray, the fact he was now standing was a hint that the boy was free to go.
Life can be like a stone thrown in the sea. It creates waves, maybe changing something, maybe not, but no matter what it causes, every single wave will disappear into nowhere...

Murray stood as well but said nothing about the answers he had recieved. For once in his life he was wondering if perhaps he did have a chance here. Training with Xavier had helped slightly, not enough for him to trust in his powers but enough to make him think twice and put in some effort.
"Thanks," was the only word Murray uttered as he turned to go. Although it was quiet and although no eye contact had been made the word was sincere, that much could be heard in the tone and Murray left the office with the slightest inkling of true hope.
