Gold Stike Force Meeting - (Team Members Only)
Anna quickly made her way towards the War Room, as she was requested to do, she didn't like all this secracy, what did the teachers have to say to her ground that was so private?
Frost:"I've never been inside the War Room before.."
She said with a slight awe in her voice as she looked around.

Cassie's jaw dropped as she entered the massive room.
"One word, Wow!" the petite blonde said as she gazed around, unable to wrench her eyes from it's walls.
Cassie noticed Anna in the room and although she hadn't met the other girl she smiled warmly. "Hi I'm Cassie Pryde, I guess we're on the same team huh? It's nice to meet you teammate," she said with the ethusiasm that only a girl as young as she could possibly have.
"Wow did the temperature drop a few degrees or is it just me?" she asked after a moment of shivering.

*Madison said as she walked into the War Room, looking over to Frost giving her a slight smirk before walking over to her new teammates.
She wasn't really shocked about seeing the War Room, she'd been in here a couple of times, mainly with her father. She looked over to Cassie, she hadn't really seen her much to introduce herself and although she was one to judge people first up she felt that she should try and get to know her and maybe the rest of the team before making a decission on what to think of them all.*
Madison: "You're Cassie right? I'm Madison."
*She held out her hand as an offer to shake but her claws sliced through her skin, lucky Cassie hadn't shaked them yet otherwise she'd be off to see Beast.*
Madison: "Uh..."
*She mumbled looking down to her hand, and slowly she made them go back inside her, with her skin slowly healing over. She gave a slight nervous chuckle.*
Madison: "...Maybe we should save handshakes for a later date..."

Sean walked into the massive war room, he had only been in here once before with his parents but it still managed to astound him that a old manor like this can have such up to date technology and enough space to store such a room.
Sean noticed the small coalition of students further into the room, his eyes fixing on them from behind his protective glasses. He made his way over to them and smiled;
"Hey you lot, Sean Summers for anyone who doesn't no me, or Kinesis." Sean smirked when he said his code name, he hadn't had it long and still found it a bit odd telling it to people, "Madison you should be careful with those, my Dad's told me all the stories about what your Father can do with them, wouldn't like to see you do it to a fellow student."
A slight grin spred over Sean's face as he spoke.....

As Sean entered Frost looked over towards him, giving a sly smile as he made a comment to Madison.
Frost:"Hey, ya bone claws upgraded to metalic ones, that's cool."
She grinned but was staying further away from the group, not daring to get very close to them, she looked over at Sean.
Frost:"Cool glasses, you're Cyke's kid right? My uncle told me about you, I'm Anna Drake, Bobby Drake's my uncle, people call me Frostbite, Frost for short."
Looking over towards Madison as she continued speaking.
Frost:"Aren't we a bunch? 2nd generation of X-Men wonnabees, don't ya feel special?"
She spoke sarcasticly as she turned around and strolled slightly further away from the group, pretending to be looking around.

*As Sean finished speaking she looked over to him, she gave him a half smile feeling sort of proud of her father. She'd heard stories of his past, some by him and others by the other X-Men.*
Madison: "I've heard some stories too. But I bet Dad would go crazy if I did anything he ever did!"
*The as Frostbite spoke she gave a slight frown.*
Madison: "...It wasn't my choice on the 'upgrade'..."
*She replied, holding up her right hand and watching her claws slip out, she gave them a slight rub since she hadn't really touched them before then.*
Frost:"Aren't we a bunch? 2nd generation of X-Men wonnabees, don't ya feel special?"
*She looked back up to Frost letting her claws slip back away again.*
Madison: "Yeah, very special..."
*Her sarcasm trailed off, as she looked around the room.*
Madison: "...Hey, isn't Storm supposed to be our leader? Where is she?"

Feeling more nervous than she wanted to admit even to herself, Storm approached the War Room.
She had been there uncountable times before and leading a team was certainly nothing new to her as well but this time, she hardly had had anything to do with most of those youngsters inside.
*Ok, remember. Authority but in a friendly way.. authority in a friendly way...* she repeated mentally and entered.
Having chosen a spot from which she could be heard and seen properly, Storm forced down her nervousness and began to speak.
"Hello everyone and please excuse my late arrival. As some of you might know, my name is Ororo Munroe but most people call me Storm due to my power to control the weather.
So why did we gather here?" She asked rhetorically.
"From now on, all of us belong to a team whose leader I am, the Gold Strike Force. It is absolutely necessary to built a basis of confidence and trust among one another and to really *become* a team by learing to rely on others.
Pride is something natural and none of you is supposed to give it up, however, letting your team comrades and hopefully later friends down, insulting or hurting them will not be tolerated!
I will never ask something impossible of you. I know that most of you are not fully able to control their powers yet which is nothing to be ashamed of and you don't have to worry that I might ask someone to do something beyond her or his powers.
Nevertheless, working in a team has as one of its aims to increase the individual strengths as well as covering everyone's weaknesses. Nobody is perfect! Not you and most of all not me. If you ever feel like I do something wrong or doubt my commands, don't hesitate to tell me.
There may be a time when you need mine or a teammates help and of course I depend on you and your personal powers as well.
For example, I suffer from claustrophobia meaning I'm afraid of being in narrow rooms. Missions which include those surroundings might become a problem for me which is when I will have to be able to trust you.
This is what we as a group are for. We support and help each other and by this become stronger to face whatever our fate will be like.
Those weaknesses everyone of us have are a part of ourselves and thus most of us won't be able to totally get rid of them. However, if we confront ourselves with our fears over and over again, there might come the day when we will be able to be the master of our fear. It won't disappear but we can control it and maybe even use it as an advantage.
Some might be afraid of fighting which is also natural. None of you will be on a real battle field before the Professor and I are absolutely certain you are able to handle the pressure and of course survive.
I don't want to lie to you. There might come a day one or more of us won't survive. This is the risk of being a member of the X-Men so if anyone of you wishes to live a normal student's life, she or he is free to leave. No one will blame you for anything or tell anyone about what happened if you want to. I will not force anyone of you to do something against your will except for a life or death situation.
Besides being your team leader and maybe friend, I will also be your teacher in many regards. I will help you as good as I can to gain full control over your powers. There might be assistent teachers from time to time or group work, training sections alone or as a team in the Danger Room and lessons like the one I taught just before trying to make you see what's necessary."
Storm took a deep breath having the feeling to have done well.
"This was most of what I wanted to say."
And smiling, she added requestingly
"Are there any questions left? Do not hesitate to ask them. Else I propose you introduce yourselves to the rest. If someone wishes to be called by his or her code name only, I don't have any problem with it. For now, I will call you by those names to make it easier for those you wish to stick with them and spare them any embarrassing situations. If I am allowed to use your 'normal' names, please tell me. You can call me eitherway you want. Storm, Mrs Munroe even Ororo, I don't mind..."
Ororo looked around waiting for someone to begin.

A whisper enters Storms mind as Xavier apologizes for interrupting her speech.
Xavier:"It appears Sean's been requested on another team, I'll be asking if he wishes to be transferred, forgive me for the untimely interruption."
The Professor said apologetically to the wind rider before telepathically talking with Sean.
Xavier:"Sean, please report to my office, there's been a slight change of plans, you've been recalled into another group. I apologies for the inconvenience."

Frost couldn't help but murmur a few unhearable contemptuous remarks from the back.
Frost:"That's exactly why I came here, to fight to my death for a lost cause, sign me up for the suicide squad."
She gave a dry chuckle as she pulled out a chair and slumped into the seat.
Frost:"We got a guy that can glare at evil people, she can scratch them, I'll give'em goosebumps..and I don't know what you others do.."
She said with a disinterested wave of her hand.
Frost:"Should prove interesting, wonder which one of us will die first?"
She mumbled under her breath so the others couldn't really hear her well. She looked up over to Storm and proceeded with introducing herself as requested.
Frost:"Well Stormy, I'm Anna Drake, as you already should know since you work with my uncle, my powers, as you should
also know, are identical to my uncles, I can lower room temprature and freeze things..plus other stuff which isn't as cool."
She said with a shrug as she refurred to the giving people frostbite and freezing things unwillingly when she touched them without her gloves.
Frost:"Name's Frostbite, everyone calls me Frost for short."
She flashed everyone a disheartend smile before forcusing on her gloves and then began ignoring the group.

*This will be even harder than I thought* Ororo thought feeling one of her eyebrows twitch being referred to as Stormy by someone half her age. *Got to get used to it...* Resigning, she wondered whether the rest had the same attitude as Anna. Deciding confrontation was better than hiding, Storm flashed an ironic smile and asked innocently:
"Thank you, Frosty, but you seem to have a question?"
She was ready to compromise but having fought for her convictions for decades and being a true fighter full of pride forbidded any surrender right at the beginning.
(OOC: those who haven't posted yet, could you pretend your characters have entered before Storm started her speech? Would that be ok with everyone?)

"It's too bad Sean had to leave. It is kind of funny having us as a second generation team. I'm Shadowcat's daughter by the way, Cassie Pride," Cassie said. "I can phase and I have an added power but I haven't entirely learned to control it."
"So you're Storm then? That's really cool, it's great to meet you," Cassie said politely. She had been raised well and couldn't believe Frost's behavior.
"I guess I'm like the youngest and all right?" Cassie asked, trying to make small talk since she really feared the awkward silence and freezing cold that would come when all stopped talking.
Aris was currently busy trying to untange herself from the heap on the floor she had landing in when she had zoomed into the room on her two toed fuzzy feet that were more slippery than a pair of bannanas on this tile floor.
"Hey Madison, hey Storm..." She said not looking up as she carefully untangled her tail from around her ankle and got to her feet, brushing herself off. Then she looked up and continued to listen, tucking her long sandy brown hair behind her pointed ears.

Raising an eye brow at mention of Frosty caused Anna to flash an impressed grin of amusement, she never thought the weather witch capable of such coy replies.
Her attention instantly shifted over to the disterbance that Aris was making as she skidded into the room.
Frost:"Hey Fuzzy, keep it down, we're having a meeting here."
The white fringed girl turned her attention back towards the team leader, this might prove more entertaining then she thought.

*Madison looked over to her little step sister, then as Frost spoke to her she glared.*
Madison: "Leave her alone!"
*She snapped quickly. Sure she had called her sister names but she didn't like it when others said stuff about her sister. The she looked over to Aris and smirked, ever since she had come back with her new claws she was grateful to see her little sister, but the effect was beggining to wear off. Maybe she'd end up going back to her old ways with treating Aris. She listed to Cassie talk to Aris the she folded her arms.*
Madison: "Must be my turn to introduce myself."
*She said in a slight grumpish tone.*
Madison: "Well...I'm Madison Enright, my codename is Wolverette...I'm Wolverine's daughter, my brother is Connor and my sister is Aris...My powers are my bon-...metallic claws, and a small healing power from Dad and from Mum I got a synchronization power, so I can absorb other mutants powers...Soooo...Yeah, that's me..."
*She said with slight pauses every now and then, she didn't really like intorducing herself to others.*

She nodded after Madison had introduced herself and looked around.
"Well, who hasn't introduced herself yet? Aris, would you...?"
A warm smile lightened her features turning to the young girl.

Storm fully understood Anna's thoughts. She herself had had problems to accept the schizophrenic relationship they had with Mystique.
"Well, Mystique is not entirely our enemy. In fact, she is more like a friend although you mustn't trust her easily. She is on our side as far as it concerns mutants but being against man's leading position in society, we happen to meet on different sides occassionally. One cannot refer to her as evil in any case!"
She smiled first at Aris and looked at Frostbite afterwards expressing she knew her doubts.
"Well then, I believe all are gathered and introduced themselves. Are there any questions left for now? This is not your last chance to pose them of course..."
(OOC: We had everyone except for Sean who's shifted, right?)

Aris's eyes widened, "Uh oh...Here hold on," then she quickly shifted herself to the exact same appearence except no fur at all and no tail or pointed ears, and five normal fingers and toes.
"I use this form at school," she said smiling at Anna, rather embarassed. "And yeah, I can shift forms, and do a few other things too, but nothing too increadible..I've got some claws too," She jerked her thumb at Madison, "but I don't heal as fast as her so I don't release them on purpose too often but that doesn't always stop them....it takes a while for the bleeding to stop..Anywho, go ahead Storm...oh, and er...nice ta meet ya Anna, maybe we can hang out later, if ya don't mind being seen with a little 13 year old such as myself. I'll be sure to come furless."
She grinned, Anna seemed nice enough, she didn't mind being called fuzzy.

Cassie's indestructable smile continued as she looked over excitedly at Aris. The younger mutant seemed nice enough even though none of them seemed to want to bother with her.
"Hey so if Mystique is related to you than Kurt must be too right? My mom knew Kurt, they were good friends for awhile I think. Shapeshifting is way cooler than shade shifting," Cassie added enviously.
