How to kill someone who's already dead?
Entering the War Room, Rogue threw a quick glance around. Spike's presence confused her for a moment before she realized it must have been this world's one... the souled vampire.
There was something about his eyes she could tell it wasn't him.

After both X-Women had sat down, Storm began to speak.

"I don't know when and whether somebody else will join us, however, I believe we should begin. Every moment we waste could decide over someone's life.
So, any proposals regarding how to... kill Angelus?"

It didn't only occur odd to her talking about killing when it came to vampires. She simply didn't like the sound of this word.

Thanks to those hours of rest having found back to her "first punch, then ask" kind of attitude again, Rogue shrugged saying

"Do we actually know enough to discuss that? I mean, maybe just stormin' in there would..."

*click*

Staked - beheaded - burned by the sun... always returned.

It wasn't her memory... but what did she expect having had physical contact with this guy for hours? It was a miracle she hadn't absorbed anything of his mentality as far as she could tell.

"No, no forget it, won't work" , she corrected herself and waited for someone else to come up with something instead.

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
Stopping outside the door, he could smell the various people, some he knew, some he didn't, some he...he wished weren't in there.. He stared down at his chest once again, it was strange, he's never felt so uncomfortable before...normally because of Angelus he wouldn't wear anything since it was just going to get destroyed....but he was so...almost embarrassed..

Lowering his head as he considered simply turning back and perhaps hiding in Rogue's room for the duration of this meeting, he placed his right palm over his chest just as some others walked up behind him.

"Guten tag, are you vaiting for someone?" The German mutant asked as he approached the other man, Jean was following along beside him, and threw Spike a friendly smile.

"It's alright Kurt, he's Spike." Jean replied as the vampire appeared startled by the opening doors and then glanced nervously at the blue demon-like mutant. Spike looked back into the room, a few glances where thrown in his direction and he seemed to freeze..

"Are you alright?" The telepath whispered as she stood beside him, but he didn't reply, he just stepped anxiously into the room. His eyes hovered over towards Rogue, then over at his other self....all dressed and proper...his eyes all glowing... With out thinking Spike took a step back into Kurt who was entering the room as well, the furred mutant placed his hands up as Spike stepped back, the palms of his hands pressing against the vampires cold skin.

"Sorry we're late." Jean apologised as she took a seat beside her dearest friend, Storm, Kurt wasn't really aware of much that had happened aside from what he and Jean had just previously discussed down in the kitchen. But he was already slightly nervous as the vampire seemed to hastily retreat from his furred touch.

Standing by the door, Spike quickly lowered his face was again, hiding it away behind his right hand as he tried to calm his racing mind down. After a moment he lift his head and folded his muscular arms across already completely healed chest. Kurt took a seat beside Rogue and flicked his tail about as he glanced around at the room.

Spike however seemed focused entirely on his 'other', having no reflection meant that he barely remembered what he looked like. At least his hair looked better trimmed...and he didn't liked having it his natural dark blonde, he had also forgotten what colours eyes he had...this was very nerve racking for him...he didn't like it in this room any more..

"The Professor is on his way, he's bringing Jack with him." Jean relayed the message that Xavier had sent her, then folded her arms on the table, offering all the guests and others in the room a faint smile.

Spike glared at the floor for a moment, his arms still folded as he leaned against the wall, he had been keeping an eye on Drusilla since his return, but now....now she was...

"You should've destroyed'er....now she's gone away with someone else.." He could sense someone....something....had arrived, teleported into the area somehow, demonic in nature, he could feel it, and now both that and Drusilla where gone..

"She's gone back t'him..." The jealousy in his words where easily heard, even though he himself didn't realize he had spoken it in such a tone...but he closed his eyes and simply let himself rest, as if nothing important had just happened...

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
*Spike had been staying silent for a while now and once the soulless counterpart of himself had entered the room he folded his arms, looking the other Spike over, in almost a defensive sort of way.*

Spike: "Get over her, we've got more important matters to talk about."

*He spat out all of sudden, sort of snapping towards Spike. Then he looked over to Rogue as if she was supposed to have come up with some idea by now.*

Spike: "I haven't seen Angelus for a lon time now, apart from the little encounter earlier..."

*He started, turning his gaze to look back over to his soulless reflection.*

Spike: "... So is there anything new we need to know about him that we don't already know yet? Haven't left anything out have you?"

(Bah, sorry about this poor post. I really can't think right at the moment :x )

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
"Get over her, we've got more important matters to talk about." William opened his eyes and shot a deadly glare towards his other self's sudden heartless burst of words.

"I haven't seen Angelus for a long time now, apart from the little encounter earlier..." Will couldn't help but think to himself 'A lot of bloody help you where' as the other blonde vampire brought up this mornings incident. Will's glare almost turned poisonous as the other Spike threw what he would call a disrespectful stare towards Rogue.

"... So is there anything new we need to know about him that we don't already know yet? Haven't left anything out have you?" William didn't even move from his resting position against the wall by the door, he just stared at the other Spike with a suddenly amused expression.

"Bloody hell, haven't you developed a holier then thou attitude, what happened? Daddy didn't spank you?" Quickly, before a reply could be given without Spike having to talk over William, Will turned his attention towards the southern belle.

"Slayer had a few good ideas, might want to key'er into this, other then that, Angelus has limited resistance to sunlight, anythin' more then 30 minutes ought to be fatal. Stakin' no point an' holy water jus' burns, you ash him an he can still think an' move about, but if-" He paused, staring rather blankly at Rogue for a moment then frowning and continuing.

"-If soul-boy here can waltz on into the Center, he can then invite you lot into the buildin', it'd work, it's worked before, but it means he'll have to get through any o'the guards by'im self." Will threw Spike a cocky smile as continued to keep his arms folded across his chest.

"If you think you can handle a couple of lil'childes that is. Mean's you'll either have to do it early in the morning before sunrise, or just after sunset...." He focused on Rogue once more, acting as if she was the only one there for the moment.

"That's all I know, can I go now? I can go get the Slayer, she knows more, done more research on'im then me...I was little preoccupied with other things.." What with the constant torture and mind games, plus the occasional slaughters in his time, he didn't really bother keeping notes on Angelus...besides, if the plan of Spike inviting them into the building was going to work...William was going to have to get his special part of the plan into action as soon as possible..

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
The southern gal gave the soulless one a sympathetic smile.

"Sure" , she simply said and hoped, half presumed, that Will would know she understood.

Now what to make of that idea of his? One vampire entering the beast's castle alone?

"Pointless"
Storm stated thus unknowingly voicing Rogue's thoughts.

"It is too much of a risk sending Spike alone, however, the idea itself seems to have some potential"

Rogue nodded and continued Ororo's thoughts. They had been working and living together long enough to be able to guess what the other one was thinking.

"We could let someone accompany him... someone bein' able to get rid of lower vamps fast 'n if it makes'em peckish so they become slightly careless, just for the better"

"A simple strategy, yet maybe an effective one"

Again, Rogue went on, taking the metaphorical ball from her friend.

"Still the question bein' whether he'll be really able to invite us in... I mean, shouldn't it be someone really livin' there?"

"Spike"
the windrider turned to this world's version of Drusilla's childe raising and eyebrow in a questionning way

"What do you think?"

"You don't understand luvs, only he'll be able to enter the invite only field, any one else taggin' along wouldn't be able to get 10 meters near the entrance." Throwing Rogue another privet glance, seeming to always ignore all the others when talking with her, not that he intended to...he just did..

"He'll get in Ro', I promise." With that, Will moved to the door, pausing and glancing back at Rogue for a moment, he hesitated, should he tell her? ...They wouldn't let him go if he asked...but it was the only way..

"There's 4 floors, the bottom is simply the entrance hall, top 3 floors are business areas, and Angelus likes workin' on the top most floor, or in the basement....go to the basement.." He offered a bright smile before heading out into the halls, glancing about for a moment before heading away from the War Room.

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
The Rogue Slayer slowly made her way down the hall towards the War Room, Xavier's unfamiliar voice whispering inside her mind as a guide. When her dark eyes caught sight of an older man in a wheelchair and a middle aged man walking beside him,she almost sighed a breath of relief because that meant no more whispers inside her head.

"Welcome Jennifer, please, this way." His hand motioned into the room as the doors slide open, the newly dressed girl made her wat cautiously inside. She could smell Spike's scent, along with some other familiar yet unknown scents in the room, her eyes hovered over the untouchable southern belle in recognition before staring blankly towards this worlds Spike.

"Whoa..." She stared with obvious distrust, he smelled like Spike, he looked like Spike...but there was something else there that..

"Oh, right....you're the one from this world...whaddya know, you actually got it here." Folding her arms as she allowed her eyes to look over this 'souled' version of Spike, she then looked around with a puzzled expression.

"Where's my Spike? He was all huffy before...wait.." She looked towards Xavier as he moved over to his spot at the table.

"Why am I here again?" One minute she's told she'd hinder more then help, next she's being guided through the school by a voice in her head, she wasn't liking any of this.

"Not that.." She paused as a pained expression crept into her face before she quickly shoved it back into its hiding place under her mask.

"..I'm not gratefull or anything...I mean, as the Slayer I'll do whatever needs to be done..or whatever..." She finished up, leaning against the very spot on the wall where Spike had been leaning earlier.

"That indeed is a good question, Rogue, I assumed our guest would be here to help us with devising a plan, is everything alright?" The Professor asked Rogue directly, Jennifer in the mean time placing the back of her right hand over her mouth in a desperate effort to hide her small exhausted yawn.

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
As the other Rogue entered, the absorption mutant raised lightly an eyebrow not spotting Will accompanying her. Instead of him, Xavier entered the War Room.

Xavier: "I assumed our guest would be here to help us with devising a plan, is everything alright?"

Rogue shrugged a little addressing the Professor.

"Well, he said he'd fetch the slayer but now that you brought her here, I don't have any idea where he is"

Her own way of talking still hadn't come back; in fact, it was even to herself interesting. She had never had physical contact with any other being this long before... how long would it last? Some hours? A day?
Rogue had no idea but for now, she felt comfortable with it.

The southern belle flashed those who had just entered a smile and decided to get them up to date.

"I'm still not sure whether I actually got everythin' right but maybe this world's Spike can help...?
What I know is, that he"
she motioned over to the blonde vampire "is for some mysterious reason able to enter the protective field around Angelus' place and let others in by invitin'em.
Will said we should head for the basement once we're in coz that and the top level area are that psycho's favourite places"

She let out a sigh shaking her head. As before, Storm went on speaking not loud but clearly understandable for everyone with her calm voice.

"We proposed to send someone with useful abilities - meaning those effective against vampires - with him but William refused saying this person wouldn't be able to get close enough.

To be honest, I still think two people stand a better chance than one even if one of them couldn't go the whole way"

, the weather witch ended obviously waiting for either Spike, the slayer or Xavier to reply in any way.

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
With a shake of her head, Jennifer corrected the southern belle.

"Ok, thing is, Angelus has like...he tends to be a little..." She cleared her throat, for some reason it sounded really strange saying this in this world.

"He's very fond of turture like areas....you know? He had a whole floor dedicated to one at his place, really....really not pleasent.." She mumbled the last part as she remembered spending a night, but then blinked and focused on what she was saying.

"Uh, the only way for Spike, either Spike to enter is if one is invited, other then that, there's no magical way around it, Dawn says Riley just waltzed into my apartment, your Riley I mean, I hadn't invited him, but I invited the one from my world in a while ago. Her eyes hovered over the blue elf, staring at Kurt for a moment before staring down at the ground.

" 'Sides, Spike already talked with me before he came here, was all really upset about something, an' ... was acting weird over one of his old relationships. Oh, and was complaining about getting shot, was upset that no one trusted him, he was really upset that he saved someone and then he said she hurt him with her words.." Jennifer gave a slight shrug as she spoke.

"Hey, wait, when he was leaving for here, I asked where he was going,he was suddenly rushing off in a hurry, and he did yell back that he wanted to prove to 'them' that just because he's a heartless souless monsters he's not a worthless idiot. To quote him as best I can, he also said he wanted me to tell Catherine that he doesn't think it's a joke, but he is often blurting out things like that so I didn't really think anything of it." The Slayers eyes continued to stare down at the ground, before adding rather quietly.

"Angelus keeps his prisoners in the basement of his work place....and the reason Spike would have said for no one else to go with this Spike is because they'd attack people from behind the barrier, you'd all be open bait, unable to fight back. A psychic barrier around him will protect him until he gets passed the invite only barrier.." Now Jen understood, unstood why he was acting all upset and strange..

"If your Riley could enter my invite Barrier because I inivted my Riley, then maybe Spike....if he's invited into the Center, then this Spike would be invited in, there's no other way he can just walk in there." All the talking and thinking was starting to hurt more now, why did Spike have to go off like that...now she felt like an idiot for the fact she hadn't figured it out earlier that he was planning on a stupid idea like that.

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
It was like a flash of enlightenment as the slayer had ended. Rogue and Storm nodded simultaneously but still, there were some doubts left.

"Guess we gotta take the risk... if there's no other proposal, that is"
, the southern belle suddenly broke the silence that had followed Jen's words.

As no one said anything in reply, her thoughts began to circle around something the slayer had said before explaining everything... something she had ignored as to yet for the sake of their mission.

Jennifer: "...he did yell back that he wanted to prove to 'them' that just because he's a heartless souless monsters he's not a worthless idiot..."

Rogue's eyes widened as she thought about what that could possibly mean.

"Jen, he..."

Automatically, Rogue used Spike's name for her, a small glimpse of fear in her eyes as the absorption mutant focused on the other Rogue only, ready to jump up at a positive reply.

"...he wouldn't go there on his own, would he?"

*I should know the answer... I really should but....*

The southern gal's thoughts spun around endlessly, finding no reply to her question. Most probably, she knew this man better than any other one, however, her power allowed her to know him as good as he knew himself only.
Those who are insane experience troubles understanding their very own actions.

*This world's Spike had remained virtually quiet since he had last spoke, ignoring whatever the other world's Spike had said. Maybe sending him a few sharp glares as he spoke, but that was about all, no use wasting his voice on him.

As the Slayer walked in the room, Spike looked over to her. His face staying emotionless, although he wasn't really fond of seeing a Slayer walking around he wasn't going to show it. He'd killed a couple in his death-time, but after he got his soul he tried to stay away from Slayers in case they'd heard of him and seeked revenge. Yet, Jennifer seemed different...

He listened and watched as both Rogue and Jennifer talked on, listening with interest as Angelus was mentioned, but he still didn't really show any emotion towards the Slayer, seeming kind of defensive.

Thin finally, ignoring Rogue he butted in.*

Spike: "Tell ya what... Bugger Angelus's torture fun and let's get this plan underway. Quicker we do this, quicker I can get back to drinking pigs blood."

*He smirked faintly, although he wasn't sure himself wether he was smirking at returning to the Renaissance or going into the battle against Angelus.*

Spike: "I'll get in, invite you guys in, we get rid of Angelus and boom all done..."

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
(OOC: Sorry I'm a little late guys, the post isn't very good since I just wasn't sure what to say so sorry about that.)

Jack who had been sitting off to one side was for once rather quiet. Where he would usually feel the urge to put in some comment, cocky or otherwise this time he actually listened, something he wasn't normally very good at.

He didn't know much about vampires really, probably the only thing keeping him from making his own plan and showing them all up. Not to mention that the two versions of one person were just a little confusing. I've been out of this for far too long, Jack thought to himself.

They seemed to have come up with a working plan now though and it looked as if everything was working out so Jack nodded along as Spike finished.

"Makes sense," he said simply with a shrugg. Jack didn't want to admit that he only partially followed their plan and knew what they were up to. You're a big help Jack. Should have stayed up north, he couldn't help thinking as he waited to see the reactions from others to the plan.

Nick Knight knew a fair bit more about vampire, being one himself. He stll felt a little out of place here, even with the other vampires in the room, but the plan sounded alright by him. Still he would rather hear what everyone else though about this plan before stating his own thoughts, it was just his way.

"Idiot." The Slayer whispered to herself angrily, though whether she was refurring to herself or to Spike she wasn't really sure.

"Well it seems, the plan is worked out as to how we gain access to the building, Rogue, I'd like Garnet on the mission tomorrow, Jean, any one you think fit to come along with be of great help. Make sure they're aware of their target, we're after Angelus, once he is captured, we withdraw." Kurt stared rather unresponsive to Xavier's words, down at the table, he didn't want to go on a mission, he wanted to find Arisa..

"I'll organise for the group to be ready by the time of departure Professor, I think we should leave early morning, Storm can cloud up the sky to prevent our friends suffering from the direct light." Jean offered, throwing Storm a curious glance, the Slayer looked over towards Spike as they all talked. Staring at him, wondering how he was able to get a soul...wondering what kind of person he has become with it..

"Until then, I suggest we all get a good night sleep.." Jean looked towards Rogue, hiding worried eyes behind a perfect mask she has learned to wear over the years. Rogue had seemed so fond of the creature, and she spent so much time with him, how was this news going to effect her?

"Very well then, if there's nothing else, you all should get some rest, we have a big day tomorrow." Xavier didn't make an effort to move, prefering to stay behind incase someone wanted to talk more. Kurt didn't even move from his seat, once they where dismissed, he disappeared in a BAMF of blue smoke without really offering a glance to anyone. Jennifer slowly turned and left as well, not really sure why she was called to stand in there and listen to them, now worried over the wreckless behaviour of her Spike...

Re: How to kill someone who's already dead?
While Rogue was shortly distracted by the word Jen whispered, Storm simply nodded at Jean and the Professor pressing her intercom again.

(crossing over with Salem Shopping Center)

"Circe, this is Storm. Be prepared to leave tomorrow early morning. I believe you know what it's about. Storm end."
Since Ororo had no idea where her team member was, it was better to remain as vague as possible hoping she would do the math.

"As you wish. Circe end.

The reply came fast and with a tone making it clear that she knew what it was all about.

(end of crossover)

The southern belle, however, had hardly listened to anything that had been said. Just the time - the next day's morning - somehow came to her attention but it was of importance. Nothing was of importance now except for...

"Jean, please scan the area. Where's he? ...I'm afraid he'll do somethin' incredibly stupid..."
While she had spoken with an emphatic, pleading voice at the beginning - obvious worry on her face - Rogue only murmured the last sentence more to herself.

*Please... Will... DON'T!*

The thought of what might happen evoked plain deparation inside of her but at least this was something the absorption mutant managed to hide for now.

(I appologise for the short post, it's 3am and I really can't think of much else to add:( )

Closing her eyes, Jean tried to carefully pick up on Spikes mind, though normally she'd be unable to trace vampires, it helped since she had formed a mind link with him earlier. A frown crossed her lips as she opened her eyes, lowering her gaze away from Rogue for a moment but returning to her stare as she spoke.

"He's...in trouble.." It was all she could say, he wasn't responding to her calls and his natural ability to block her out was too strong for her to force her way into his mind. She hoped Rogue wouldn't do anything stupid herself, reckless dangerous stunts where known to be done by the southern belle.

"We'll get him back Rogue." She assured her friend.

Do dead ones live?
(OOC: it's ok... this is gonna be a short one as well. sorry, but it wasn't possible to do it differently!)

Jean: "He's...in trouble.."

There had hardly been any time when she stood up faster.
Spike in trouble?
Her Spike in trouble?

There was just one word sounding in her mind, calling, yelling at her: WHERE??

Now that she had found someone... someone special... someone she could dare to be in love with, he should simply disappear out of her life for the sake of other people's opinion about him?
Rogue knew she was being selfish again... but hadn't he told her they'd be selfish together?!

"We'll get him back Rogue."

The streaked mutant was close to tears. Tears of anger and frustration, not of actual sadness.
It couldn't be happening. She would never allow him to get dusted!

"Bleedin' christ, Jean, that's no bloody object you're talkin' of but a being! You can always replace a thing by another one but not..."

Noticing that she was almost yelling close to hysteria, Rogue tried to calm herself down. It didn't really work but at least she was able to speak in lower voice.

"I... I think I'm in love with him a-and he returns it so... please, you have to understand that... especially you!"

The southern belle's voice became a mere whisper as she went on.
"Please... just tell me where!"

Re: Do dead ones live?
The telepath stood, making her way to Rogue quickly, her hands gently resting on her shoulds as her eyes peered directly into Rogue's emerald green ones.

"He's waiting for us Rogue, we're going to get him back, because he's doing this for us, he must have though this was the only way.." She trailed off as her mind drifted away from Spike's, she could easly pick up the other minds in the area surrounding the building.

"Down Town.." She replied to her friends demand, but then added in a softer voice, with a worried look shown on her face.

"We can't get him yet Rogue, you haven't rested, we're not prepared, and we need this Spike in order to lower the field protecting the building. Just a few hours Rogue, then we'll be strong enough and prepared enough to rescue him, please don't do anything without us Rogue." She urged pleadingly at her friend, love could make people do silly things that they know was reckless, yet don't care. Part of her wished Scott was here, maybe they'd be able to go right now if they had all the X-Men at the school, but with most of them off on other assignments it was so hard. And they needed time to gather students...it was all just too sudden....but would she wait if Scott was the one suffer?

"Give me 2 hours to prepare the teams and ready the jet, just two hours Rogue." She whispered to her friend quietly.

"Jubilee, we come into this world alone...and we leave the same way...the time we spend in between...time spent alive, sharing, learning...together...is all that makes life worth living."

Re: Do dead ones live?
Jean: "He's waiting for us Rogue, we're going to get him back, because he's doing this for us, he must have though this was the only way.."

The southern belle turned her head aside, avoiding Jean's gaze that seemed to reach far into her very soul.
A part of her, the oldest and best-known one, screamed at Rogue to leave quickly. She knew Spike needed her. He hadn't been able to defend himself against Angelus' "games" for centuries so how should he succeed in defeating him or even standing a chance against him now?

True, staying here, having the time to heal his tortured body and let go a little, helped increasing his strength and drove the insanity at least partly away but still...

"I absorbed him for hours... maybe I didn't only get his way of speakin' but that invitation thing as well..."
, she said stubbornly but even she herself had the feeling only to do this to serve the clichee.

"Rogue... you know what is the right choice to make"
,Ororo said softly. She knew what her friend was going through. It was a hard decision to make-

"Oh yeah, do I?!"
The rebel inside leaped forward.... and hit a wall.

Rogue had changed after those years of fighting as a simple team member. Now, the responsibility she had to bear didn't allow her to leave alone.

*I am a team leader*

"Alright"

Finally, she sighed the spark of rebbellion that had glowed in her eyes for just a few moments disappearing again making space for resignment.

"I'll wait in the hanger... hurry up, will you?"

Without waiting for a reply, Rogue stormed off.

(TBC: - Rogue will be available in the hanger)

Re: Do dead ones live?
With a heavy sigh, Jean glanced at the Professor and then over at Storm, she was worried over Rogue, they all seemed to be. The Professor would, as he often seemed to be doing now days, stay behind and watch over the school with whatever X-Men remained. Jean, while her husband was off on another assignment, would be forced to lead the mission to rescue Spike and capture or destroy Angelus.

"Kurt seems reluctant to leave the school, I think it best for everyone is he stays back and skips this one, gather anyone you can round up, and head out right away." As Xavier finished speaking, he made his way towards the door, Jean nodded slightly and decided over the teams that she'd call for the Mission.

"I'll call up X-Force, Storm, I'll meet you in the hunger shortly." With that, the telepath left, heading towards the doors where she sensed a few of the members where gathered. This would be their first mission so she'd rather meet them face to face then tell them over her mind link.

TBC: Jean - Lisa and Cat's Room.

Re: Do dead ones live?
After Jean and Charles had left, the weather witch let out a sigh. Out of a habit, Ororo hadn't said anything regarding Rogue's behavior openly but her worried thoughts she couldn't hide from the two telepaths.

Storm could understand her friend. It was just natural to care, wasn't it? The old Rogue would have stormed off, the more surprised she was seeing her finally give in. No matter what the southern belle's opinion concerning that topic was, the windrider knew that Rogue had more of a true leader than she herself thought.

Thankful for this fabulous piece of technology, Storm activated her communicator using a special frequency

"Storm calling the Gold Strike Force. Everyone, come to the War Room immediately. Highest priority! Storm end."

For some reason, being an X-Man was mainly about waiting...

Re: Do dead ones live?
He wasn't sure why he was being called, Jarod had done his best to remain out of sight and out of other peoples thoughts, the telepath was extremely uncomfortable with the fact he knew so little about the simple things he saw so much of around the school. And the fact he wasn't used to so many people was causing him to worry over intruding into other peoples minds accidently, he was still learning how to shut himself off from others.

Standing at the door of the room, Jarod peered in and quietly watched a white haired woman, he then glanced down at the communicator his father had given him. It still felt strange seeing Charles Xavier, and he was overwhelmed that he now had a last name, he's never had a last name before....it was always simply Jarod.

"Excuse me." He called with uncertainty as he waited by the doorway of the room, fiddling with the communicator in his hands like a nervous child. He stopped and slipped it into his suit pocket, once again looking around the room as he took a slow step inside and placed his hand on the frame of the door.

"My name's Jarod, I was sent to help you." He offered politely though...wasn't really sure how he could help with whatever it was they needed help with.
