Angel couldn't help but inwardly laugh, he didn't really love the sewers either, but it was easier then walking out there...walking with the humans, being so close to the sun, yet never being able to touch it..
Angel:"We're heading to the Graveyard, there's a crypt we're told a friend is staying at."
Although 'friend' wasn't the right word, Angel and Spike had helped this guy...so he was a friend as far as they where concerned, since it was rare for them to develop bonds any stronger then accountancies.

Nick looked a little sceptical but he followed the older vampire anyway.
"Your friend lives in a crypt?" he asked midly, trying to keep disgust out of his voice.

Angel:"He isn't a vampire, he's not a zombie...and in all honestly, I'm not sure what catagory he falls under, all I know is what he's told us. He was murdered along with his future wife, he came back, she didn't, he waits in the grave yard for her...we all need something to hope for."
Although Angel was an exeption to that rule, he had told Spike many times that he was never to get what he hoped for, he was never allowed to be happy.
Angel:"..Well, most of us get what we dream for, others just continue to dream."
He stopped at a ladder, turning to face Spike.
Angel:"Ready?"
He asked the bleached vampire, after all, whoever was to go up there first was going to no doubt get tackled down by Lee, he had a nasty habbit of paranoia..

Nick turned away, remembering his own troubles after death. He had been naive enough to go back and see his family, unable to truly let go of his human life before. When he had been offered the choice of life or death he had been tempted and had taken the life of a vampire. Only afterwards had he realized that it wasn't life as a God but that of a murderer. By that point in time it had been too late though.
"Yah we do," Nick said, remembering the woman he had known as Jeanne, the woman who the world remembered as Joan of Arc. She had given him hope and made him question life, in essence she had made him what he was today. If not for her he might still have been with Lacroix.
Nick remained silent as he waited for Spike, lost in the memories.

Angel placed his hand on the ladder, telling everyone that he was choosing to go first, he climbed the ladder, his hand reaching up to lift the man-hole cover, a loud thud is heard above as something runs across the floor.
Glancing down at Spike, Angel gave him the be-prepared look before he tossed off the cover and leapt into the cypt.
