Re: Dying Star Nightclub
There was still this eerie silence in the world about him lingering on his mind, he was terrified that he'd not hear a word that Rogue.. She looked so upset, so hurt, part of him was furious with her.. a greater part wanted to hold onto her until the pain all went away..

"An' now...?" Spike's arms had folded the jacket closer about him as he then folded his arms across his chest in an effort to hide away the evidence of his suffering. What she said next was more painful for him then the agony of the trails, the terror of living with Angelus and the pain of the burning sensation still lingering within his chest since Loki's touch.

"Wanna suck meh dry, wanna bite meh like the evil vampire y'are?" His golden eyes shamefully looked away from her, his human appearance returning trying best to hide the expression of utmost heartbreak. He didn't mean to pounce on her.. since they left for Africa things have been strange for him.. his mind's always so split on everything.. so angry and yet so afraid.

"Whattis it tha' ye want? Ah already gave ya all o' what ah have. My friendship, my body, my love - ah opened ma soul for you, showed ya things hardly anybody knows... so what else?" No one's ever given him so much.. no one's ever wanted to give him so much.. no ones ever tried to give him anything near that much.. A drizzle of light rain began to fall upon them, he's never seen her so upset.. he made her this upset? After all she's done for him.. look how he's hurt her..

"What else?" How was he supposed to answer that!? He didn't WANT anything else from her.. she's already given him so much.. maybe.. if she.. if Rogue just let him help her sometimes instead of always leaving him behind.. she was ALWAYS leaving him behind! Everything burned and the cool water of the raindrops didn't help ease his pain, but neither did it help ease Rogues..

"This is meh! There's nothin' more ah can give, nothin', so whattis it tha' y'are expectin' of meh? Ah'm no telepath, y'know, in tha' way ah'm just human, Will. Ah'm really tryin' t'do ma best bu' no matter what ah do, it doesn't seem to be good enough for ya. Ah said ah loved you an' tha's just the truth. Love ain't almighty. Love can't make meh see into your mind an' y'know what? Ah don't want it t'do tha' coz ah want ya to trust meh an' tell meh wha's wrong instead o' lettin' meh guess! There's just one thing love does..." After everything’s he's done to her.. after just now.. how can she still say she loves him with such passion and certainty? But she could see his mind's thoughts.. couldn't she? And he did want to tell her things, everything, anything, all things that ever happened to him, but how can he say things knowing they'll hurt her or make her upset?

"It binds people together..." There was a quiet pause as he stared at her, a chilling wind sweeping past them, his arms holding only more firmly against his aching chest, not from the chill, but from the worry she might catch a glimpse of his scars. He wanted to shut his eyes and look away from her, but Rogue's emerald eyes moved back up to meet his before he was able to build up the strength needed to look away.

"Ah had the feelin' we kinda understood each other. Not totally bu' at least a little better than other people do.
Bu' right now... ah don't gettcha...
Ah love ya because you are how you are - tha's how ah got t' know you. Ah dunno what'd be different with a soul, ah really don't bu' if it makes ya happy, ah already said ah'd help ya the best ah could. Ah'm no research person so if ya got a hint where to search for it, ah'll come along an' beat every freakin' wall in our way to crums... bu' if ah do then not because ah want you to change but to help you to fulfill your wish."
Now he was confused, was she mad with him still? Was she still hurting.. she loved him no matter what.. with or without a soul? How.. how can she love something like him.. why? He's a monster, she'd help him even if she didn't think it was needed? The cuts across Spike's body grow only fiercer in their burning as he went over her words carefully in his mind, repeating them, memorizing them, locking them away where they will never be forgotten.

"Ah don't see a monster inside o'you... I just see you" Rogue's eyes seemed to have wondered off and remained there, but it had knocked all words, strength, thoughts, anything, everything, all have been knocked out of him.. the burning sensations a faint tingle on his mind as he stared at her. Slowly, still dazed by her words, Spike removed his jacket, uncaring about her seeing his battered tortured flesh or not, moving towards her, his hands wrapping the coat about her shoulders in a weak attempt of wanting to keep her already damp body warm. He wouldn't be able to finish his trails until he sees what everyone else sees when they look at him, he asked himself 'what do they see?'...

...I just see you.

The burning of his scars faded to gentle tingles, but the warmth of them seemed to spread across his body, right through him to the very core of what he was. His hands pulled away from where they had been fiddling with the collar and lowered them down in front of him for his eyes to study. There was a soft golden hue radiating from his skin, it was warm.. like the summer days where he'd lay beneath the rays of a sun on the green grass in the nearby countryside as he scribbled away at his poems..

But his memories where interrupted by the explosion of pain in his chest, causing him to take in a sharp breath as he shut his eyes and let his head peer downwards to hide his pained expression. His hands clenched tightly into fists as he placed them on each side of his head, leaning forward slightly, the ancient symbols that riddled his body glowing brightly as the pain only worsened. As they glowed, his hands pulling away to stare down at his stomach and chest that seemed to have light seeping from his deep cuts, the bright glow flooding through the core of his body. The cuts seemed to heal quickly from the powerful white energy flowing through his body, but if anything, that only made the pain much worse, losing his struggle to hold in the yell that was building up in the back of his throat.

The vampires normally empty, hallow eyes snapped open, the resinating glow of his returning soul brightly seen, though as his yell faded, so did the light, his body seeming to weakly collapse forward into Rogue. His hands grabbing at her shoulders as he struggled to cope with the sudden burst of confusion. His arms held her rather frightened of whatever was going on, his mind flooded with whispers and vague images... But more terrifyingly, where the emotions that came rushing in with them, it was almost painful, the strength of which he was feeling them. Putting the strength back into his legs, the vampires attention returning slowly to Rogue as his fingers reached up to explore her face as if she was a completely different looking person whom he could not fully recognise.

"Every sunset that we miss, I'll wrap'em up an' send'em to you inna kiss." His lips inched forward to hers as he whispered, lightly pressing against hers, his hand slipping just under her ear so he could pull her gently towards him. The emotions where so strong as his kiss grew deeper, a soft whimper escaping him as if the overpowering sensation of being able to feel so much was beginning to hurt him. But it didn't stop his kiss, instead he placed more passion in it as both his hands now hovered by her hips, seeming unsure to hold her or just rest his hands on her hips.

'One person believes in me.. that's somethin' I guess.'

A whisper entered Rogue's mind, Spike's hands resting against her cheeks more affectionately then ever before, ignoring anything and everything about and around them. He wanted to tell her everything, he didn't though, he didn't because he didn't want her to be hurt by the things he had been through.. It had been important.. that Rogue believed in him, he needed that.. he will always need that.

'Don't touch me.'

It was impossible to fight anyone when you’re drugged, and Spike KNEW Catherine had guessed what Joan had done to him.. how she used his flesh for her own desires.. But the human girl hadn't cared to even calm him down when he had been upset.. Rogue would have held him.. that's what he had wanted, someone to hold him and protect him.. he may be strong and powerful and old.. but he still needed protection sometimes.

'Give it back! You can't 'at, it's mine!'

As if being rapped wasn't back enough, they removed his chip, his 'metallic' soul, the thing that kept him from harming others..

'I'm not letting you go out there! If you fall, the world loses a Slayer, le'me go, if I fall, what does the world lose?'

It had been very frightening climbing out onto the wing of the plane, it wasn't fair, he was terrified of heights and they where VERY high up, but he had managed to remove the explosives those hijackers had placed there.

'I did what you told me to! I finished your bloody tests, gimme what I came for!'

Spike had been livid they refused to give him his soul, he fought demons, got beaten, whipped, tortured, humiliated and degraded and laughed at. He had to make his way through a room that had crosses on all walls and floors, it had been very painful..

'Until I see what they see? What else other then a monster can one see?'

He had practically stormed off after that, still upset they had refused him the soul, the Slayer had to practically drag him onto the plane she was supporting him so much.

'She'll never hold me again.. not like she did before.'

Why would Rogue want to hold him, he was a murderer again, he could kill without a second thought, but if she didn't know.. then she'd continue holding him.. he didn't want to lose her, she was the only thing that was real.

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
Upon seeing his wounds, the scars - a tortured body, Rogue couldn't help but feeling sorry for her, as she thought, self-righteous words. As he gently placed his jacket around her, however, gladness stubbornly dominated over any negative sentiment. He had returned to her!

Before either of both could say something, there was a golden glow shrouding Spike's body, seeming to break through every pore, especially where the worst of wounds were stood as evidences for the trials he had gone through. The yell that suddenly erupted from from the vampire's throat was almost more than Rogue could take. The urge to hold him tight became unbearable but again before she could react, he did instead.

With unknown passion, he kissed her and as soon as their lips met, she knew.

"Welcome again among us souled ones"
, she whispered with a grin while kissing but he was obviously too busy with sorting out his freshly intensified emotions to hear it.

Then something odd happened. Whatever it was that made Rogue hear throse phrases, it couldn't fully be blamed on her powers. What was actually happening, why had he regained his soul?
There was two hinting the answer to this question

*I did what you told me to! I finished your bloody tests, gimme what I came for!*
*Until I see what they see? What else other then a monster can one see?*

But wasn't the result more important than the way of achieving it? At least now?
Still, there was not only curiousity but also worry about Spike.

*She'll never hold me again.. not like she did before.*

Along with it - contrary to all the other whispered fragments of the vampire's recent past - there were images. Everything but clear, rapidly changing and confusing. The more the southern belle saw, the less she understood until it suddenly stopped.

Sinking into Spike's embrace, still perceiving nothing but him, Rogue was fully content. And while she didn't even think about it, those fragments, those pieces of a puzzle she didn't know anybody was trying to put together, formed an image.

"Your chip..."
, she said quietly

"Ah trust ya... you are much stronger than you think"
To seal every protest from his side, her lips found his again and she let herself be carried away by the passion.

If the world was going to end the day after... there was nothing to regret. No, there wasn't.

TBC - Rogue ready for leap in time. there's still the possibility to reply to her though and if it's necessary, I can post with her here again as well although I'd prefer to leave it as it is

Lachlan: "Alright... Well, I’ve lived my whole life at Xavier’s, only left a few months back to get away from things…I’m terrible at these things, your shot!"

Shalimar smiled at Lachlan, she had a preety good judge of character and she could sence that he was a little nervous but then again she was to.The fact was even at this moment the Blonde Haired Feral remembered it would be a couple days till the anniversery of when she first went out on her own but things had changed a lot more since then.....She was happy.

Shalimar:"Well Lachlan,I've been apart of Xaviers school maybe 2 months but I do feel like I,ve been there a eternity.....its a really cool place anyway as I told ya im a ferel and I came from a family well I would like to forget to be honest Im really ashamed of my father,he wasn't what you would consider a really nice guy but at least I got to be able to shed his shadow and come out on my own.My life has been preety much a life on the run but since I settled at Xaviers everythings been cool."

Shalimar took a swig of her beer but quickly put it down as she picked up a familiar scent although she hadn't seen that person in ages in truth since Shalimar first arrived she was very happy that she was ok.

Shalimar:Hey Lachlan Ill be back in a couple minutes there is someone I need to say a quick hello to then we can go back to enjoying ourselves."

She got up from her seat and made her way over toward the dance floor following her nose to her target sort of speak. It wasn't long before she spotted her.

Shalimar:"Hello Arisa."

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
Beth had been really concerned about Spike but not just concerned, her heart was hurting for him.She made her way really just because she felt like she needed to be out there whether she was in danger or not she felt like she needed to be there.

Beth made her way outside only to see Rogue was there at his side, just that made her heart sink The Dark Angel had feelings for someone who already had someone she didnt want to admit it but she did love Spike but never knew how to admit it although everytime she saw Rogue with Spike she felt like she wanted to rip her throat out but Spike obviously loved her that was Bethany needed to know.

She watched as something obviously happened to Spike she could feel that whatever he seemed to want to much he even tryed to kill himself in remorse about not having it........A soul and now he had it it seemed but as much as Bethany wanted to go over she watched as Rogue kissed Spike passionatly and was at least for a moment a sign for her to keep her distance.

The Dark Angel:"Well Spike at least now your complete."
She said under her breath as her faced morphed for a second then went back to normal once she contained her feelings once more.

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
The merman hurtfully looked away from Arisa, how can she lay within his arms for the passing of the moons cycle and yet feel longingly towards dancing with another.. whatever dancing was.. Max simply laughed rather lightly as he stood up, taking her hand and tugging her gently off the stool, his arm raising and making her body spin about with little effort on her part. At that, Arlen struggled off his stool, trying to leave the building since obviously Arisa didn't want to spend any time with him and would rather that of the stranger's company.

Connor though had rather forcefully shoved Arlen back against the bar, knocking the stool Arlen had been sitting on over. Alren grew very frightened very quickly as he stumbled back into the bar, his arms grabbing out for the smooth wooden surface in order to balance his stumble. But Connor's anger shifted from the frightened Prince over towards Man who was holding Arisa's hand still, a growl escaping the feral before Max simply smirked, causing Connor grab Arisa and pull her away from Max.

"Not him.. not him.. he's bad." Connor sounded out of breath, and Max didn't seem to pleased with the male Enright calling him 'bad'.

"Back off knuckle head, she can do what she wants when she wants." Max folded his arms rather indignantly at the idea of someone like Connor ruining his fun, it was a very difficult for Arlen to stand so he just sat there glaring ar the ground, he didn't like being treated like this..

"You want to dance?" Connor grabbed onto Arlen's arm and pulled him up to his feet, shoving him into Arisa, the merman's breathing quick, unused to be shoved about so much. Connor was upset that Arisa brings one friend and spends time with someone as awful as MAX.. Max looked rather upset now, but Shalimar interupted them before anything could be started, Arlen hiding his face in Arisa's shoulder and clinging to her so Connor didn't hurt him again.

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
Arisa’s rather apologetic smile faded into a look of surprise as Max stood up and tugged her gently off the stool by her furred hand, spinning her around and causing her to shut her emerald gaze off from the world as she pressed her eyes closed, waiting until the spinning had stopped to open them again. Her head jerked to the side at the sound of a stool clanking to the ground, to see Arlen clinging back against the bar as if he had stumbled, and Connor growling lightly at the site of Max’s hand holding her own. But the blue-furred mutant couldn’t see Max smirking back at Connor.

She felt her big brother pull her rather forcefully away from Max, causing her to defensively yank her arm back from the constricting grip, her own lip curling up into a snarl as she leapt out of the Wolverine’s reach to a crouched position, eyes narrowed and her arrow-ended tail making whipping sounds as it lashed dangerously quick through the air behind her, it’s tip visible behind her head and shoulders. Slowly she stood erect again, the snarl fading from her features as she remembered that Connor wasn’t himself, he had chemicals flowing his veins and effecting his thoughts…

"Not him.. not him.. he's bad."

Bad? She turned to look at Max for a moment, before turning back to look at Connor, coming to the quick conclusion that it must simply be part of how the drugs were effecting him and that he probably didn’t even know Max, though if she had had any more time to think it over maybe the possibility that it wasn’t just the drugs would have entered her mind…

"Back off knuckle head, she can do what she wants when she wants."

She watched Max fold his arms rather indignantly at Connor, and she made a small movement towards him, to explain to him why her brother was acting the way he was and to just let it slide, but she was interrupted by having the force of Arlen shoved into her, nearly knocking her over.

"You want to dance?"

She balanced herself out, her expression still a meddle of confusion as she tried to process all that was going on around her. The merman’s face lay hidden in her shoulder as he clung to her in fear that he would be attacked again, and she allowed her arms to pull around him instinctively for comfort, her tail still flicking joltily behind her, it’s normal steady rhythm lost in the confusion,

"Hello Arisa."

A oddly familiar tone reached her ears, and she was sure she would have recognized the sent as well if she was able to detect it, but at the moment with the prince clinging so close to her his sent had filled her senses, disabling her to smell anyone or anything else. She turned lifted her head to find the owner of the voice…

“Shalimar…”

Her brown hair lay strewn over her features as she looked up at the faintly familiar figure, the strands obscuring her vision auburn in the abnormal lighting. She had only met Shalimar once, she had startled Arisa slightly when she was out on the grounds at night, and her claws had come shooting out in defense, it was only lucky the other feral had been out of arm’s reach or the mutant’s bone-claws could have done serious damage…

That was right before she had been ‘kidnapped’ by Phoebe…that was the start of it, the confusion that still to this moment was woven deep into her expression, and had been in her thoughts almost constantly since her loyalties had become undecided…

But she pressed it to the back of her mind, pulled her calm, placid demeanor out from where it rested, always ready for her use, ready to completely hide her thoughts and feelings, ready lock everyone and everything out of her mind…

“Long time no see,”

A light smile etched over her features as she spoke to the older girl, for the moment ignoring the little quarrel that was, as far as she knew, caused all by her brother’s current state. Her arms still remained firmly around the merman, holding him out of the reach of both Max and Connor…

Re: Dying Star Nightclub

The young merman's weakly struggled to keep him balanced and standing, it wasn't fair, he just wanted to be with Arisa, instead he was getting poked, drugged, shoved about, yelled at, threatened.. Arisa didn't even seem to see him as he saw her, he tried so hard to be noble about her, to do as his father says was correct.. but why was it no matter what he did she still seemed.. distant.

He's never been so scared, he's never had so many people threaten him, he's never been treated so poorly.. but at the same time he never wanted to leave her, he never wanted to return back to the palace. He felt sick from the pollution of this world, and grew unwell with the noise and more importantly his body grew ill and weak from the dispar of the heartache he was under. He could hear Connor and Max bickering until Max stormed off over to his friends, Connor drifting off shortly after to mingle with some of his classmates.

Arlen's arms remained about Arisa, what was he doing wrong that caused her heart not to return his love for her? His face buried slightly more against her shoulder, it wasn't fair.. it was simply.. so unfair.. He didn't like the fabric brushing against his skin, he wasn't used to it, and the shoes where not comfortable..

"What is dancing?" His voice was dry, weakly spoken, but at the same time, lacking the vibrant life it had in their first meeting, all the joy almost drained from within him. How could he be happy? The Angel he adores cares nothing for him.. sometimes she lets him close and then seems content with having her distance between him and his love. His face remained hidden away, not caring if his words where muffled slightly into her shoulder, he spoke clearly enough for her to hear him.. he just didn't have the heart to look up at her wondrous face, knowing with complete certainty that there was nothing he could say to make her care for him as he does for her.

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
She could feel the merman struggle to keep balanced and standing without putting to much weight on her, and she attempted to keep herself steady as much as possible, her arms still around him almost protectively as Max and Connor argued. She would have spoken, but what they were saying wasn’t even entering her mind, her focus was on the prince that stood with his arms around her and his face buried into her shoulder. His scent had wafted over her senses now that they had been standing there for a few minutes, and was now blocking the smell of all the others in the room. It was the same the previous night, she had been able to pick up no other smell than his, and another feral, if they were close enough to her, could probably still detect it on her clothes.

Her tail was now swaying gently, and her head had slowly tilted to rest against the back of his, her auburny brown hair cascaded around her shoulders and across her emerald gaze that was focused down in the prince’s direction. Everything in the city, the pollution and fumes, they were the cause of her constant hacking and illness when she was very young and her finely tuned senses had not yet learned to cope with the unnatural grime that was ever-present in the city. It had taken her till she was around five to become completely adapt to the city smog, certainly the merman was not yet used to them, but yet he didn’t have the same feral senses as her that were always so overwhelmed by the loud noise and pollution in the city. Her thoughts were interrupted as her pointed ears pricked with the sound of his voice, muffled into her shoulder but still audible,

"What is dancing?"

His very tone made her tail sink slightly, it was dry and weak, and totally drained of the joy and vibrancy it had held in their first meeting. She could only account it to the two things on her mind at the moment, Connor’s state and the damned condition of the city, not thinking that perhaps it was indeed heartbreak…

“Dancing…dancing is…it’s where you move to the rhythm of music….”

Her tone was soft and quiet, not needing much volume because she was so near his ear. She paused for a moment, trying to think of something he may be able to compare to, this wasn't exactly her area of expertise…

“It’s sort of like…when the seaweed moves in the current…it almost dances…”

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
There was a moment where Arlen's arms lost their strength to keep hold of her, dropping away for a minute before he was able to struggle and snake them back up to her shoulders. His head slowly moving away from her shoulder so his eyes could peer over towards the floor where they where dancing. His lips where parted slightly to help his rather shallow and slow breathing, his arms weakly trying to keep their grip on her, the bit of his stomach and the back of is throat all felt ill, as well as the core of his chest and the headache he was starting to get from the noise.

"Arisa.." He's eyes left the dancers, and even though he turned his head back to face her, his eyes remained low to avoid her own gaze.

"Why do you.." It wasn't fair how she was holding him, how she held him while they slept and how she allows him to take hold of her tail and she on a few occasions takes hold of his.. She knew the meaning of it for his people, and she still did it, even if she didn't seem to respond to his love, maybe his people and her people thought of love differently.. But as the words left his lips, he lost the strength to ask her, turning his head away and leaning forward, resting it on her shoulder as he watched the dancers.

"Why are they biting each other?" If he had the energy, he might have looked more worried, but there wasn't any point, the best look of shock he could do was give a rather confused blink and a twitch of the tip of his tail that was dropped lifelessly to the ground. His eyes watched the various couples kissing but then got rather uneasy and looked away, shutting his eyes rather queasily and hiding his face once more into her shoulder.

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
He could feel spikes soul returning to him from where he now stood away from the couple, unwittingly his mouth crept to a slight smile, but as time progressed it disappeared. “Why am I still here” his whispered words could be taken for the wind even to someone with sensitive hearing as he looked over his hands with a confused expression.

“I’m still here” his voice was louder now and had a tone of annoyance, why was he still here, spike had his soul, so he should be back on a cloud worshipping the almighty, not standing in the shadows in a dark street. He stepped backwards till the darkness covered him from sight a laugh was heard behind him, he spun round to see the messenger standing in the darkness behind him “Why am I still here” his tone was questioning, the messenger just laughed again and waved his hand, slowly the world around faded in a white light.

"Why are they biting each other?"

Shalimar tryed not to laugh knowing it was rude but she couldnt help her self but it was taking all her strength not to.
It was the first time she had found something that could make her laugh in a while.

“Dancing…dancing is…it’s where you move to the rhythm of music….”

""Hey who's the new face?"
Shalimar said with curiousity as she listened into the conversation, whoever he was he deffinately looked like a good date for Arisa not that there was any jealousy considering the Blonde haired feral had her own hot date.

As she waited for Arisa's reaction she felt a strong hand on her shoulder and reacted instantly grabbing the arm bringing it around to see the face of her brother.

"Brennan! Im glad you made it!"

Bren"Wouldn't have missed it for the world."

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
A twinge of pain took grip on the inside of her chest, tugging at her as the merman’s arms lost their strength and dropped away from her, only with a struggle did they snake back up around her shoulders, and the strange twinge jerked at her again as she listened to his shallow breathing, worry taking grip of her features. She could feel how weak he was, and hear it even more in his voice as he spoke up, the jolt in her chest yanking at her violently at his voice…

“Arisa...”

The worried, almost weakened expression on the furred mutant’s features increased as she saw how his eyes were low, avoiding her gaze, guilt racking her. Her tail was twitching towards him now, seemingly attempting to grasp his own tail, but she wouldn’t let it...she couldn’t..

“Why do you…”

He turned away, the strength to speak seemingly draining from him, and as he did so another sharp stab of guilt ran through Arisa. It was all her fault. It was her that helped him from the ocean, and into this polluted world. And though she wasn’t thinking that perhaps heartbreak was getting at the prince, she still was sure that it was her fault, that he had been so much happier at the ocean, before he had met her. She had done nothing but pain him from the very beginning…

“Why are they biting each other?”

She turned her forest jade gaze to look around the room, at first not quite understanding what he ment. But after a few moments she realized who he was looking at, couples kissing.

Her tail gave another fighting jolt to touch his, but she forced it to wrap around her leg instead…touching tails, that’s what he had said kissing was to his people…if she told him this was how her people kissed...would he…

“That’s…that’s how my people…kiss…”

She could hardly take it, the confusion and guilt that had risen up inside her was tearing her apart, and it was shown in the shaking tone of her whisper. If she gave into herself and let her tail reach for him, if she returned his affection… She wanted to return his actions, she wanted to so badly... But…did she know him that well? She wasn’t even sure how old he was… but he treated her with such…such…

She wanted to, but she wouldn’t let herself, something inside of her was holding her back, it always had. She was never able to show anyone affection as she wanted to…but why? Was she…afraid?

"Hey who's the new face?"

The feral was almost grateful for the interruption of her thoughts as she pulled her head up to Shalimar, her emerald gaze in such a confusion of emotion that nothing seemed distinguishable. Though as she watched the feral spin around to great another she allowed her confusion to fade into a numbed calm, speaking up to answer Shal’s question,

“This is Arlen, my b-…my friend.”

Did she…did she just nearly call him her boyfriend? Her expression remained placid with a sort of calm, as it always did when she needed to lock everyone out from what was going on inside her head, but inside she was numb with surprise at herself...

Re: Dying Star Nightclub
Well he was confused, their kiss was to bite each other? His bright eyes stared over towards Max who was still at the bar, talking now with a group of friends, Max's glare moving over to Connor who was talking with himself. Arlen held Arisa a little more firmer as the group seemed content in poking fun at Connor who was still recovering from his druggings. The Prince felt so terribly ill now, the pit of his stomach turned almost painfully, but even worse was his heart, it felt as if it was burning and that something had a powerful grip upon it and was squeezing it so hard it was ready to burst. But the pains of his body where little concern to him when the sole affection of his love and desires was in trouble, even if it was not her personally, it was her brother, and if he was in trouble, then that would cause Arisa to be upset, and possibly get involved and she might even be hurt.

The very thought of that had him so upset that he didn't even notice Shalimar approach, but he stopped cuddling for support and straightened up the instant one of Max's friends Tony had moved to begin talking with Connor. The young Wolverine was doing his best to ignore the unwelcomed intrusion, mumbling to himself and turning to see what Madison was up to, but his mind was far to unfocused to look for her, she could have been right beside him and he wouldn't have noticed. Arisa and Shalimar where saying something, but their voices where drowned out in the loud music that flooded the nightclub. Which was the reason that even the feral's sensitive hearings where unable to pick up the yell that came as Connor retaliated to a comment about his sisters by releasing his claws and lunging towards one of the boys who had spoken to him.

Wiggling rather clumbsily from Arisa's arms that where steadying him, Arlen made his way rather quickly towards the group of five who all seemed to have a problem with Connor acting all strange. But then again, they where school bullies, they can find a reason to pick a fight against an old lady, picking a fight on someone who always goes to the rescue of someone they are picking on puts Connor in their bad books along with Riley and some others. Max was sitting on his stool watching the fight with a glass in his hand and taking a few sips between his amused grins and cheers. The young prince pounce on the boy struggling with Connor who let out an irrated snarl when Arlen was thrown back and fell to the ground. Arlen was rather relieved to discover Connor was more annoyed at the boy then the fact Arlen had been thrown backwards.

Arlen looked up at the group over him as Connor backed away from those who where yelling at him and staring down at Arlen, mumbling something and then rubbing his eyes as if they where hurting. Arlen covered his face as one of the boys where shouting at Connor right above him almost, Arlens tail nervously curling about his waist.
