- Center of Inquisition -
(ooc-Sorry for yet another short one, I really wanted to move us on, yet...gawd..I think I'm gonna die..x_X)

As the jet landed, Angela and Dawn fidget nervously about as they stared at the large building, it was prather isolated from the others, a good 200 meters between that building and the next, the boundries marked with a large steel wire fence. But the jet landed within the boundries, Rogue glanced back at the soulled Spike as if asking if he remembered everything he had to do..

"Jean, now remember everyone, we're here for Spike, and to destroy Angelus." As Jean spoke, Jennifer tore her eyes down to her lap, shutting out the image of Angelus bursting into dust. She knew he wasn't Angel anymore, but...he was still her Angel...all he needed was his soul... the only thing that stopped her from breaking apart was the fact she knew another Angel was in there. In a sense there where two of them now..Angel and Angelus, she might not be able do anything about Angelus...but she can still save Angel...

Jean looked at Rogue and then Storm, then stared down at Spike, it was up to him for them to enter the building...but they had to protect him.

"I shall try and shield you as best I can, Garnet, Storm, perhaps if you could used your abilities to help fight at a distance, stay as close to the jet as you can, everyone else stay inside until we know Spike has succeeded in lowering the magical field around the buiding." Jean suggestion as she readied herself for shielding Spike, glancing at Storm and Garnet to see their faces.

"Rogue, once the field is down, hurry to the basement, we will hold them off as best we can till your groups return." Jean had the feeling Rogue just wanted to rush off, but she could leave the rest of her team behind, she'd need help if Spike was hurt..

"Try to stay calm and concentrated"
was the last advise Storm was giving before she left the jet whose doors just had opened automatically.

The sky was heavily clouded and thick fog hovered around the area Angelus' hiding place was situated in both of which was the reason or better the effect of why Storm hadn't said much during the flight. It was the best way to cover their arrival at least from the enemies eyes but who knew which other methods the vampires called their own.

After an encouraging smile of Aran'kla, Aurora got herself up trying her best to drive away the feelings of disappoinment and anger that brewed inside her. This was neither the time nor the place for stubborn childish behavior.
Fortunately, the windrider had left a small belt without fog around the jet which allowed Circe to easily spot Ororo standing at the ramp's right side. Situating herself at the left, there was just one thing Aurora could do - something she really hated: Waiting.

Inside, Dryad did the same but contrary to Garnet, he was quite glad about it. It wasn't that he feared battle, however, some time of concentration and meditation beforehand had always proved useful.
Releasing a deep breath and taking another, the greening mutant tried to relax. Now he was happy about having taken a long sunbath throughout the day - in fact, there had hardly been a time since he was attending to Mutant High when his energy reservoirs had been filled to such an extend.

None of them feared what was to come. None except for the one everybody expected to be the last to have those sentiments.

The mutant Rogue had left her seat and fought a hard inner battle neither to simply run out of the jet nor to pace around impatiently.
What if they came to late? How were they supposed to annihilate Angelus anyway if the traditional ways didn't work?

*Oh please, God, let him be fine... just let him be fine!!*

Spike: "I'll love you for as long or for as little as you want, I'll stand by you till you decide to stand alone. Tell me to leave, I will leave, tell me to stay, I will stay"

"Liar"
, her voice was a mere, desperate whisper for nobody to hear as Rogue rested her back against one of the Blackbird's silvery walls.

"Bloody liar"

Re: - Center of Inquisition -
*With the slayer looking back to him he narrowed his eyes. He knew what look she was giving him, he'd seen it many times before, like back a long time ago, back when he had no soul... Many others gave him those sorts of looks, as if they didn't trust him to remember things. He did, why did people do that? It just like they never trusted him, especially when he was going into a big battle. He remembered what he was supposed to do. Besides, what else could he do anyway... What join Angelus and turn against the mutants? A smuggish smirk crossed his face as he thought of the possibilities, which he thought were wandering through the other's minds.*

"I shall try and shield you as best I can, Garnet, Storm, perhaps if you could used your abilities to help fight at a distance, stay as close to the jet as you can, everyone else stay inside until we know Spike has succeeded in lowering the magical field around the buiding."

*At the mention of his name he looked away from the back of the slayers head and over towards the telepath mutant. He slowly got out of the blackbirds seat moving past the slayer and other mutants, giving a nod to Jean as he also passed her, as if to tell her to ready herself up for what was about to come.

By the time he passed the wind rider and fire mutant the vampire began to make his way along the path that was set in front of him. He looked around, not giving a care about what was going on back at the blackbird, as the adrenalin began to fix itself upon him. With nothing in front of him he smirked again.*

Spike: "I woulda through Angelus would have made it harder tha-... Bugger..."

*He grumbled halfway through his self-speech which had just jinxed his luck so far. Well, that's if you would have called a battle against one of the strongest vampires who had come from another dimension, luck. The jinxed moment came as an army of vampires began to make their way towards Spike.

As he seemed to forget about the shield, or simply had not understood what it had done, he posed himself for battle against them. With each second passing they moved closer and finally they reached the soulled one, and in turns they took to take Spike on. But with the help of the shield hardly any of the army could get close to him.*

(... Just as I actually start to get into this post, I get kicked off... I can just leave you guys to say what else is going on around... Yeah... Or something... Totally up to you...
*Rubs head* I totally confused myself when writing this... So, apologies if I stuffed it up...)

The gold/brown haired mutant sat drumming her fingers on the arm rest of her chair, she didn't want to be here, but somehow she under stood she had to be, even if it was only because Jennifer was here.

Next to her Lisa shifted her position, rasing both hands to make sure her hair wasn't coming down in what was an unbreakable habit for her. She really needed a smoke to calm her nerves at the moment but she couldn't have one, she'd left them all behind in her bag which was lying upon her bed.

'So where you from Cat.' She said trying to keep her mind off her craving and to break the silence which seemed to have settled over the four girls.

'Washington.' Cat said, playing with the belt that buckled her in.

'I've got a great Aunt who lives there.' Lisa said eagerly. 'Have you seen the Whitehouse.' She was getting rather excited about this, she'd seen it once, when she'd gone to stay in Washington for a week, she hadn't really liked the metropolis though.

'Nah.' Cat replied, she wasn't really into presidents, she'd grown up most of her life under the rule of a prime minister and some things she found hard to adjust to after she'd moved.

Re: - Center of Inquisition -
"So this is it"
Aurora broke the silence after Spike had walked past them.

"Is there any strategy you have in mind in case they start a counter attack or shall we simply fry them randomly?"

If she felt anything like excitement of the upcoming battle, Circe could hide it very well. The tone of her voice was not actually bored but something very close to it.

Storm, however, didn't pick on it.

"As long as we attack from the distance, there is no need for a strategy. You have them on the one and us on the other side... the battle is done once nobody willing to fight is left or there are no more opponents.
After we have entered the building, at least a draft strategy will be needed though"

There came nothing in reply until Spike had walked a fair bit between the blackbird and Angelus' center.

"And there is the welcoming comitee"
Garnet hissed in a low voice although due to the noise those snarling and groaring creatures were making it didn't matter how loud she was speaking.

Once the soulled one's presence had been noticed, there was no use for the shielding weather occurences Storm had set up.
As the fog lifted and the dark clouds slowly withdrew, Aurora had already concentrated her powers for battle hovering a few metres over the ground to have a better aim.

Realizing this was the better way although contradicting with Jean's orders, the windrider gracefully lifted herself up as well but couldn't stop herself from making at least one remark she shouted over the considerable distance.
It was replied to with a serious - only slightly apologetic - nod before Circe started her attacks.

With covering the left, the other the right wing, the army of vampires was almost circled without knowing. Just a few moments later, there was no chance not to notice it as flames and lightning shot down burning the undead creatures obviously aimlessly to ashes.
Every now and then, the two X-Women hit an invisible wall which - after some confusing encounters with the barrier - made them more cautious in their flight.

(A few of the posts kinda confused me so Im gonna try and see if I can pull this off if I mess up please dont hit me) ;)

Shamilar and Beth had just stepped out of the jet Shalimar herself had a small look of confusion about her,the battle was beginning and a few of the team was still inside chatting away. Her mood deffinately showed she was not amused.

She shifted her position away from the jet to regain her focus back on the mission at hand though she still was obviously a little annoyed though.

"*Shalimar*Sheesh.............What do they need a written invitation for crying out loud!"

The Blonde haired ferel's mood changed however from one of annoyance to 1 of augh as she and Beth watched the weather witch at work which was both a scary and amazing sight to witness.

"*Dark Angel*Is she always like this ?"

*Shalimar*Your asking me ? I've barely been her a few weeks Im just as shocked as you are but Im just glad she's on our side."

The two girls just kept watching as Storm obliterated the oncoming vampire attackers but Vulpine couldnt help but think this was just a sliver of what Angelus had waiting for them.

Sean quickly unbuckled himself from his seat behind Dawn and as he rose from his position he couldn't help but give one last noticable glance at Dawn who was still seated. Sean quickly walked the length of the plane to his Mother's side and turned to her, his body pumping with adreniline and energy, readying him to use his powers;

"Jean (Sean chose to call his Mother by her given name because of the situation, he didn't want to seem like his mind was not on the job at hand) what can I do here, surely there is something I can do?" Sean asked quickly of his superior, his Mother, his mentor.....

(Sorry, only a little post, but not sure what you want Sean to do, so just making sure his presence is noted. hehe :| )

(OOC: ok, to clear things up a little here a short synopsis of what's important. You [inferno] might want to edit your post afterwards...:

The Center of Inquisition is surrounded by a protective barrier one might call an invited-only field. There aren't not as much people able to pass through it but Spike happens to be one of them. The plan for now is to use long distance attacks - namely those of Circe and Storm - and a shield provided by Jean to get the vampire behind the barrier. Then he would invite everybody in and the mission begins for everybody. As to yet, I believe Jean commanded everyone to stay inside except for those named since there is hardly anything they can do at the time being anyway.

Angie, please correct me if I got something wrong ;) and sorry for have stepped in here :\ )

The agent had stayed put and quiet up till now, with the fighting going on outside he was not staying inside the plane any longer, drawring his gun he stood up and exited the plane past Sean and Sean and walked up to the barrier.

Quickly he established that there was no chance of him breaking through it without his partner, so there was little point trying, he couldnt remember the chants anyway. there was little he could see to do, save a bit of pointless shooting at those inside the barrier, he decided quickly that he may as well waste some ammunition.

With his free hand he drew his sword as he fired on the creatures the other side of the barrier, he knew he wouldnt need it till the barrier was down, but as soon as it was he intended to charge for the nearest vampire and hack at it, not forgetting of course to protect Cat, being as that was his current mission.

Spike: "Who'd ave thought the mutant's mind powers do come in handy."

*The ancient vampire chuckled as he made his way closer to his goal with every step he took forward. So in other words the barrier was getting closer, and more in reach. But it didn't stop him from losing his focus for passing the current army of vampires.

For a moment he peered back over his shoulder to look at the weather witch and flame mistress do their work. Lightning and fire seemed to riddle the pathway back, so even if Spike had thought about backing out and a mutinying them all, he probably end up in the wrath of either of the powerful mutants. He had to admire them, he was sure some demons who had a score to settle with Angelus wouldn't even show up to battle against him, yet these mutants who barely knew of him until not long ago were going in full force to bring him to an end.

His head swerved back to its normal position and he continued walking briskly forwards, his dark leather jacket flapping with ever step. Luckily, for Spike, the vampires seemed to become distracted with what was happening to the rest of them and sooner or later they'd end up a pile of ashes. Honestly, Angelus hadn't ordered the best vampires to go this job, didn't he know better? But Spike wasn't going to be one to complain, the easier things went, the better.

Finally Spike took a last step forward, passing through the large barriers walls. Then he pivoted on the spot, a smug look upon his face, as he looked back towards the jet. It was closer than he thought, but he probably took his time reaching the barrier. Not too sure if the mutants could see he him he sort of waved and since he wasn't really the waving type, it looked sort of awkward.*

Spike: "You all coming? After all you are humbly invited into... Here..."

*He shouted out loudly, at least one of the many mutants would have picked it up is any of them did.*

Thompson needed no more invitation, he stepped forward where the barrier was, passing through with no problems, he readied his sword, the turned back to the people on the jet "what are we doing here exactly?" his voice showed confusion, he knew why they were there, but not how they were going to go about it.

he walked back to the nearest mutant who looked like they were in charge "perhaps someone should give me some orders, after all i am kinda crashing on your party" he felt something move behind him, like a flash he had his gun pointing behind his back and fired, from the growling he guessed he hadnt missed.

(ooc-Guys, feel free to NPC your characters fighting the vampires)

All the team was ordered up by Jean, the Slayer began walking down the isle, wanting to get out before the kiddie patrol started running over each other. But once she made it beside where the 4 girls she had met on a few occasions she paused and placed her hand on Dawn's seat. Dawn was unbackling her restraints as the Slayer did that, pausing and looking up at Jen as she stood there with her eyes closed as if she was having a head spin. Dawn worried if perhaps she wasn't ready to fight, but Jennifer's eyes opened and turned towards Catherine. A moment later she withdrew her hand from Dawn's seat and hide the confused expression that had crept onto her face as she hurried out of the Jet.

Dawn looked back at Angela as they both stood then over at Catherine, it was obvious Dawn was worried over the Slayer's health, but it wasn't her health that had Jennifer caught up. She could feel something, something almost pulling her towards the building, it was strange...as if she could feel something in there. She stared towards the building, walking slowly towards it as the other's moved off the jet to help lend a hand in the fight.

"Cat...be careful." Dawn whispered to her friend as their teams where split, Angela looked at her as Dawn spoke, offering an encouraging smile which hinted she was also saying for her to be careful.

"Alright everyone, you've been assigned teams, those sent to the basement, head there now, the rest of us will hold off the demons out here. Once we have dealt with attacks out here, a small group will enter the building making their way up - only - if Angelus has not shown himself down here. We need to make this quick, fight hard, act fast, and good luck to all of us." Jean's voice was heard in the minds of all her allies, the Phoenix then focused on Sean, talking right into her sons mind alone.

"Make sure to lead your team, I'll watch over the others, but they need a leader, and for now, that is you." She smiled faintly before turning her attention towards the sworming vampires. While the other X-Men went off and began fighting the vampires, Dawn and Angela glanced at each other, then over at Lisa. Angela frowned as she took off quickly towards the flames Garnet was leaving behind in her destructive force. Her hand reached out for the flames, her fear of all the snarling and rushing demons all around her causing her absorbtion of the element even quicker then when she was training. Flames flickered over her arms and then all over her body, soon her entire being was simply live yet solid fire. She turned back towards the others as she stared down at her hand, but then turned away and focused on the attacking creatures.

"What I wouldn't give for a pointy stick.." Dawn grumbled as she watched Angela throw a awkward looking ball of fire from her hands towards a vampire who screamed and fell into a pile of flaming ash. Dawn cringed, she didn't have powers like that, and right now she couldn't think of a sungle ryhme that'll help her throw fire balls or things like that.. She'd have to reply on her hand-to-hand training..

"Remember Lisa...these things are really strong.." She gave her friend another worried glance, she hated to think that this could be the last time they see each other, what if one of them where to...no, Dawn couldn't think like that..

The Slayer paused beside Spike, her eyes glued on the building, she didn't even give the vampire the slightest hint of recognition. But after a moment, she whispered softly as she still seemed unable to tear her eyes from the daunting structure before them.

"Can you feel something....something inside...hurting, I know there's pain, and I can feel something calling...almost like...like I'm calling me...god how crazy does that sound?" The slayer rubbed her temples for a moment before seeing the X-Woman Rogue, she gave the older woman a serious look which hinted she was ready for anything, pushing aside the odd feeling and thoughts..

"Never thought'd I'd be saying something like this...but...lead the way." The Slayer motioned ofr the building as she fell in line with the other human, glancing back at Catherine and then glaring over at Spike.

"Hey, soul-boy, we could use some extra muscle, we might need help carrying them out of there!" She called out as they moved towards the doorway, pulling a stake that was hidden in her black leather jacket and readying herself for attack. Her other hand held a wooden cross, which she gripped rather tightly like she gripped her stake, these where her weapons, and if she lost them, then all she had was her body...and that was just as leathel to a demon.

*Spike almost seemed half amazed, again, with the mutants. He continued to see Storm's lightning and Circe's fire, but one of the mutants who had just left the jet went over to the fire, left by the fire mutant and with reaching over the flames she turned into fire herself! He could only wonder what other powers these mutants had, as the rouge Slayer turned over to him.*

"Hey, soul-boy, we could use some extra muscle, we might need help carrying them out of there!"

*That last comment from the glaring slayer almost made Spike reluctant to participate in the rest of the activity. And to think, not even one of them thanked him for inviting them all in. Honestly. But then again it's not as if any sort of demonic creature would go around saying 'please' and 'thank you'... Using manners, soulled or not.

Then all of the hype of what was going on must have entered the vampire again as he seemed to forget Jennifer's comment as more vampires charged towards them.*

Spike: "Had to jinx it didn't I? Was having it easy but nooooo, had to say a smart comment and get you guys to show up!"

*He started as he vamped out, his eyes turning yellow, his face moulding into that of demonic form in the process. It wasn't too bad for the over one thousand year old vampire joining in with the mutants. After all some of them had powers to make any demon jealous and some could probably even over power young demons. It seemed a good thing to be on their side than against them. Not every vampire dreams about turning into a pile of ashes and being blown away in the next cool breeze.

Then he charged into the brewing battle taking on a couple of vampires at a time, it's not as if they were the strongest of being's he'd faced. Then just when it reached the right time, he'd pull out his old wooden stake and stab the vampires, making them turn into yet another pile of ashes. He looked down at his stake and smirked, Angel was the one who had told him to always carry one around, just in case. Then he looked up and continued with the on going battle.*

(The Dark Angel waisted no time in diving headlong into the fight picking off the nearest vampire near her,This seemed to be a interesting sight Mutants,Vampires,Slayers all fighting in one group as she fought Bethany couldnt help but think how much of a dream this felt like.)

*Dark Angel*"Oh boy how much did I miss this."
She said for the first time in a long time she went into full vamp mode, her eyes changing to a eery Yellow as her face shifted into its proper look.

(Now in full vamp form Bethany started to eye her next target when she was hit from behind falling down to the ground she looked up to see the vamp reaching down to pick her back up.)

*Dark Angel*"Fella you just ****ed with the wrong girl!"
Bethany smiled evily as she gave the vamp a few good rounded kicks to the midsection. While he was recovering Bethany took the oppertunity, she used forward momentem placing her foot in the vampire's midsection flipping him over her he landed on his back Bethany then went in for the kill as he was about to get up.

*Dark Angel*"Well this has been fun fella but you gotta die.........again sorry."
She grabbed the back of his head and with one strong jerk broke the vampires neck as he lay there Bethany pulled a stake out stabbing him for good measure.

(As the body burned away the Dark Angel looked over to see Jennifer giving her a weird look.)

*Dark Angel*"What??I like alternating my methods.
She said smiling before going back into the fight

Re: - Center of Inquisition -
Sean watched as the X-Men fought the Demons on the battlefield infront of the Centre of Inquisition. It was intense, demons seemed to spew from the very earth and begin to attack the infiltrators. Sean scanned the scene and turned quickly to Angela and Lisa, a quick grin formed on his face, but quickly disappeared to get with the situation;

"Well you two, looks like I'm in charge for now, so shall we go and 'slay' some demons?" Sean turned back to the fight and saw a new group of Vampires and Demons emerging from the distance and beginning to run towards the battle. "Quick, we've got to intercept that hoard over ther, they can't be allowed to stop the infiltration team!" He spotted Dawn looking uncomfortable in the middle of it all, "Dawn, your with us for now, don't worry, you'll be great."

A strange feeling of being in control swept over Sean as he stepped into the leader role, the dark morning mean't shadows lay across the floor like carpets, the demons ruinning to the fight, their shadows covering all ahead of them.

Sean lept into action running straight into the fight, flanked by his three team mates, the four X-Force members scurted the edge of the main fight, dodging falling demons and broken objects. They ran quickly around the edge until they stood inbetween the running hoard and the battle behind;

"Right guys, we can do this, I know we can. Burn them, stake them, do woteva, jus make sure they turn to ash! 'Cos if they arn't ash, they arn't dead!" With that Sean raised his hand to the side of his visor and began to unleash bouts of optic blasts straight into the crowd of demons that ran at them, as they hit the enemy they bodies were thrown backwards, some smashing into objects, piercing their hearts and exploding in a flurry of ash; others being thrown into the crowds and slowing the chasing beings. The fight had well and truly begun......

Re: - Center of Inquisition -
As Aran had gotten up noticing that - since everybody else was about to leave - apparently the protective barrier was down, he threw the slayer a worried glance but not knowing much about her, the greening mutant simply decided to leave it to their leaders. After all, isn't this was leaders are for?
Jean's commanding voice in his head, he hurried after the southern belle. since at the time Dryad had reached the blackbird's exit, the mutant Rogue had already left the plane. In fact, she had already speeded out of it once she had seen her team was ready.

"Alright everyone, listen!
she shouted so everybody could hear what she was saying. They were standing a few metres away from the jet although originally, the absorption mutant had planned on telling them what mattered while approaching the entrance. After having had a second thought, reasons of sensibility had made Rogue change plans.

"Follow Storm's advices and take'em serious.
In addition - while we're headin' for the gate - cut, roast or whatsoever only the ones that matter! The rest will be taken care of by the other team. Don't waste your energy, you'll need it!
Let's go!"

After a decisive nod, Rogue turned around and approached in a fast pace the Center's main gate straightly. Fortunately, most of the vampires were distracted by the other team using impressing methods to minimize their number every second.

Rather quickly fighting their way to the building, Aran'kla concentrated on using his martial arts skills only.

"Some weapon'd come in pretty handy..."
he hissed between one kick and the other realizing that this way of fighting was anything but effective against vampires. Suddenly, an idea occured to him. Three rays with maximum power would rid him off all his energy - more and he would faint. Weaker attacks with his solar power, however, he could use to a considerable extend and since those undead creatures were massively weak towards sunlight...

A roguish grin crossed the plant mutant's features as he quickly grabbed the closest demon placing his hand directly on its face. For the the split of a second, brilliant light was released from his palm and the vampire turned into a pile of ashes.
Humming a happy tune and muttering an "Très bien", Dryad's pace got faster. This was much more effective.

If the Silver Strike Force's leader would have seized a look back - in addition to quick glances checking whether everybody was alright - she would have had a satisfied grin on her face. However, Rogue's mind was mainly occupied with thoughts of what was to come, trying to prepare herself the best she could for the worst case. The fighting, she did out of a reflex barely needing to think about her moves and as they reached the entrance, she could hardly remember the way there.

"Everybody gather, we go in!

With that, the team that was none entered the Center.

As he had passed the doors, Dryad stopped for a moment, staring around in bewilderment.
His thoughts were easily to be summed up in three words which he unnecessarily did himself

"A... business hall?!

*amatures* the agent thought as he watched everyone going about killing the vampires, he reloaded his gun with his last clip, after this he would have to rely on his dagger. carefully he picked his way towards Cat, remembering that he was here to protect her, transforming a couple of vampires to dust with a few pulls of his trigger as he did so.

from one side of him he could feel a group of vampires alone, there were no mutants around them, smiling evilly he drew a grenade from his belt, pulled the pin and let it fly towards them, the resulting explosion causing a cloud of smoke to slowly engulf the nearby area

The business-like appearence of the building was no supprise to the Slayer, she's seen it many times before, it was a working place, even demons needed a form of money to survive in the world... Her eyes turned cold as two tall darkly dressed men moved towards them, security guards by the white I.Ds that where clipped to the right of their chests. Jennifers pace picked up, moving ahead of Catherine without a word, these people had Angel, and they weren't going to slow her down. Her stride came to a stop right in front of them, her eyes staring without any hint of fear up towards the guards who she only reached to their chins.

There was a slight look of confusion in the faces for a moment, glancing at each other and both wondering what had happen to their captive Slayer, and how did this potential became a chosen one and find them so quickly. Jennifers dark eyes peered over towards the stair case off in the far right corner of the entrance hall.

"Do you really want me to hurt you?" The Slayer asked the two human guards, once again they seemed hesitant, and the Slayer pushed her way between them. If they fought, there was no chance they'd win, the Slayer wouldn't help but think these guys where smarter then the ones in her world. She moved towards the stairs, more then Angel was down there, more then Spike...there was something else...someone else...and they felt so familiar. When Catherine had made it to Jennifers side, the Slayer looked at her uncomfortably, realizing what it was she was sensing... it was like when she senses potential Slayers, only this was so much stronger.

"There's....another Slayer down there." She whispered to Cat, her eyes glued on the stairs, watching as the X-Woman hurried down towards the basement of the building, Jennifer hid her uncertainty.. she wasn't sure she could handle seeing herself.. or.. even worse .. another Slayer... meaning she's died here.. Taking in a deep breath, they hurried down the stairs, the guards left to call for help unnoticed by the rescue team.

He watched as Catherine dissapeared down the stairs, it was annoying, he would now have to leave the fighting upstairs and follow her. Quickly he made his way to where they had just dissapeared, the guards stopped him "look, i'm in a bit of a hurry, please move" he spoke politely, pointing the gun at them.

They didnt move, he sighed, he was not permitted to kill humans "ok then, you chose the hard way" he took a deep breath and put his gun away. taking a small step backwards he spun on his heel, his extended leg hitting them both in the head area, they fell without too much hassle. re drawing his gun he stepped over their unconsious forms and followed down the stairs, shooting a vampire that tried to jump him from behind as he descended.

The lack of useful powers on Dawn's behalf left her resorting to her Slayer training that she often under went before the death of her sister. She still needed to work out her spells, only she was so slack in coming up with her poems and they frustrated her so much that she often neglected them. She watched as the others handled themselves with powers shooting from their hands and eyes, but then she tore her eyes from her teammates and focused on a single target. She looked up at the vampire readying to fight her, he was a head taller then her, and she wasn't a short person.. raising her fists slightly, she took in a deep breath, a smirk cross the vampires cold lips as he seemed to wait for her to have the first move.

Spinning her body about, Dawn's fist strikes hard across the creatures pale face, causing his head to snap to the right, slowly he looked back at her, his yellow eyes glaring at her. If Dawn was nervous over the fact her attack had failed to faze the creature, she didn't show it, instead taking on a defensive battle with his fists that flew towards her. Jennifer convinced Angel to help train her, so she's practiced against a vampire before, and although he never really went all out on her, she was used to the speed of their reflexes.

Her leg swept under the undead man, striking the back of his knees and causing him to lose his balance, but as he fell to the ground, he pushed himself into the air. His unnatural strength and abilities enabling him to leap over Dawn with ease and grab her from behind with a tight grip. She panicked for a moment, wondering if she was going to die by the hands of a vampire just like her sister had so few years ago. She shut her eyes, she knew really, her poems could be crappy, they didn't have to make sense, as long as they got what she wanted done said. And she was a terrible poet, which made her even more nervous over doing them, but now wasn't time for such silly worries, taking in a deep breath, she began whispering.

"The sound of my voice will shatter your heart, turn you to dust and tare you apart!" She was all tense, nothing was happening, she could feel his lips near her neck, she squirmed about for a moment, then yelled out for Angela who came into her view. The feel of the creature falling apart behind her caused Dawn to open her eyes and look back. The fiery Angela peered over at her friend with worry, then when she saw everything was ok, she turned her attention back to the fight. But she's taken out a few of them already, and she hasn't been in a real battle before, she was getting really tired.

Frostbite hang back in the distance, Garnet was creating so much heat it was hard for Frost to get very close to the battle, which was beyond frustrating her. She just wanted to yell at the fire mutant, give that idiot a piece of her mind, what kind of team mate was she, what was Garnet trying to do, kill her? It would have been bluntly obvious that such high degrees of heat weren't exactly healthy for an ice cube, that snobby show off better not dare try and talk with Frost..
