"I'm really glade you like it," She threw Riley a very affectionate look that hinted once she'd calmed down a little she might be in more of a mood to thank him in a manner he was hoping she would. There was a smile that swept across her face before she turned her attention back to the things he'd bought her, this time more focused on the grooming kit he'd got her than the saddle, wondering what all the different bits were for. Maybe he'd let her groom one of the horses here if she asked him, her fingers stroked over the new and unused body brush he'd bought her.
"Come on you two, I want to show you something." Cat looked up at the sound of Riley's dad calling out for them, she stood up and in the poor light of the barn she could see him standing by the door, looking up at the pair of them. Cat watched Riley pick up the camera and descend down the ladder, she looked back at the stuff that Riley had bought her with a look that plainly said she didn't want to leave just yet. She wanted to exaimine everything he'd bought for her, and then look over it again.
"I was thinking.. I could teach you to ride," She scurried effortlessly down the ladder, not knowing that in six days she'd have trouble moving her body at all without it hurting let alone climing a ladder like this. She couldn't wait now to get up on horseback so she could start learning to ride. Her eyes excitedly glanced over at Penny and Sky who were standing rather placidly in their stalls.
"We're going for a drive!" It wasn't fair she didn't want to go for a drive, she'd rather stay here and discuss her new horse with Riley, there was a grumpy sound in her throat she trailed over towards the car after Riley.
"..Alright." She had no idea they were going over to see what would one day be Riley's home. "It might be a little hard at first, but I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun once you get the hang of it." Even the thought of it was enough to make a smile form on her lips, she couldn't wait for her horse to get here so she could start learning to ride. She didn't know she'd find the young stubborn horse more than a handful.
As she clambered into the back of the car her eyes kept looking back up at the barn, thinking of the riding things that were in what would be Riley's room. The car pulled away and Cat gave her full attention back towards Riley again.
'What's she like? Have you seen her?'

Riley's father glanced up at the rear view mirror every now and then to stare at them, they didn't really know Riley got her a horse, so Jonathon was a little confused on what they where talking about.
"I rode her once, she's very graceful, well balanced and smooth in her strides, she's got a wonderful posture, but you have to make sure she knows you're in command, otherwise I think she might become a handful." He smiled a little, he had a hard time finding a horse, and he knew it wasn't the best type for a novice, but Catherine had plenty of other easier to handle horses around for while she's training if Guinevere proves a little difficult.
"Where are we going?" Riley glanced at his dad who was impressed with the fact Riley could afford all these expensive gifts.. a horse, a computer, these two alone where so incredibly expensive.
"It's only about twenty minutes away, be patient." Jonathon flashed a charming little smile that hinted whatever it was he considered it to be very important and something they'd both enjoy greatly. Riley's eyes turned towards Catherine's body, twenty minutes seemed like such a terribly long time. He wanted to be alone with her, to hold and kiss and caress her, he found himself calculating the entire trip, twenty minutes to get there, probably what, ten minutes, maybe another twenty minutes before they head back, thirty to be safe, and then twenty minutes to get home.. that's an hour and ten minutes!!
"How long are we staying there?" He sounded a little impatient as he tore his eyes away from her wondrous form, he tried to reason with himself, he's been so many days without her, another few hours wouldn't hurt.
"Not too long, but ten minutes I say." Only ten? That takes it down to 50 minutes! Riley glanced outside the window impatiently, he can't remember feeling so anxious before. "We could practice on Penny tomorrow." Riley turned his attention back to Catherine, though his eyes seemed to wander from her face down to her thighs without him realizing it, "Would you like that? That way you'll know how to saddle, groom and mount before you even get Guinevere." His eyes automatically lifted to her face as he started talking again, smiling more charmingly as he pictured how elegant she would look upon Guinevere once she learnt how to handle the horse.

Cat couldn't remember being this happy ever, she hadn't really expected to get anything for Christmas and now she'd been given a horse, the video camera had paled into nothingness beside the fact that she was going to have her very own horse.
"Where are we going?" Riley was looking over at his Dad, it made her feel a little impatient however since she wanted to talk more about the horse. She wanted know how big it was and a thousand and one other questions and especially she wanted to find out when it would arrive at Xavier'.

Her whole attitude was so light and happy it didn't take much to see that she was thrilled to bits with the notion of having her own horse.

It was odd how someone who didn't even ride could get so excited over being given a horse in such a short space of time.

With a grin at the uplifted attitude she was showing, Riley waited eagerly to find out what his father intended on showing them. The sooner they saw it, the sooner they'd get back.. the sooner he could court Catherine again, then they make love, and then everything will be a thousand times better between them. It was hard for Riley to realize just how large a part of his hormones where playing in his desire to make love to her, it was why he had such a strong want to be with her, there was a subconscious desire to be inside her. And it was really hard for his body to handle long periods of being neglected, he would have to learn to keep his mind off things like this in order to cope with the long periods between being with her, otherwise it was going to be unbearable for him.
Riley fidgeted slightly, his hands on his lap, his fingers fiddling with each other in a weak attempt to distract his mind, shifting his gaze from looking outside Catherine's window to throwing quick glances at her. But he took in a deep breath and turned his head away after a little while, staring outside his window, he wanted to think about her, but if he did, then he knew his body would react and he would be so ashamed if his father noticed.
It wasn't much longer till they finally arrived to his father's surprise gift to Riley, the house looked really old, and even though it didn't look as if it was about to fall down, the windows where dirty and the place so unkept you'd still desire not to venture inside. The white washboards where now mostly gray from the cracked and peeling pain, the wood was gray and old, though most of it seemed intact otherwise.
"Uh.. where are we?" Riley looked extremely surprised when Jonathon hopped out of the car and asked them to come look outside. Hesitating only for a moment Riley went outside, shutting the door of the car and following after his dad. But Riley turned his upper body partly and stared back at Catherine over his shoulder, looking a little agitated and impatient before focusing on his dad and what was being said to him.
"This belonged to your uncle and aunt, Emily's parents, they left to you since Ben wasn't interested in farming and Emily wasn't born then, but she says she doesn't mind and that you can have it." Riley seemed a little lost on the matter, staring at the house as if it was some giant jigsaw puzzle he needed to figure out. "If you want it that is." His father added looking a little unsure as to Riley's reaction.. or lack of in this case.
"..You're giving us land?" He seemed utterly shocked, and yet there was an edge of excitement on his voice, as if he didn't believe it and was trying to subdue his excitement. His father didn't correct Riley when he said 'us', after all, everyone assumed Riley and Catherine where going to remain together, so Jonathon smiled, pleased with this new reaction. It was really strange to see how Riley reacted to receiving things as gifts, he could buy anything he wanted and even something as small as a candy bar from someone and he looked as if they where giving him bars of gold. Riley seemed to bubble with excitement as he grinned and wrapped his arms about his father, it wasn't like when he was young, Riley used to race up to his parents and just squeeze them as tightly as he could.. now that'd probably crack their bones.
Jonathon added a few more details about how originally it had been one massive block of land but it was divided between the two families. Riley looked thrilled, much like how Catherine was about receiving her mare, even though both had these gifts neither where able to be used right away, and Riley understood now much clearer how agonizing it was to get something and not be able to explore it, handle it, get used to it..
"Alright kids, ought to head back, still got lots of work to do," Riley hopped back into the car, but now was torn between being excited they where going home in which he chanced some private time with Catherine, and slight disappointment that he wasn't able to look around the land, which in itself would take hours to ride about the area he now owned. But he knew it wasn't the kind of area Catherine wanted to live in.. she had said she wanted a beach side mansion by the sounds of it. Well.. it didn't hurt to have a holiday home down here.. besides, it'd give them somewhere else to stay outside of their parents home, Riley wouldn't have to worry about them hearing his vocal noise while Catherine pleasured him in such extreme ways.. and vice versa. He stared at Catherine with a highly expecting look, wanting to know if she thought this was a nice gift or not, but his eyes dropped down to her body. His left leg twitched slightly as he mentally scolded himself and dropped his eyes away, staring down at his knees instead of at her.
"Well, what do you think?" His father asked keenly while he started the car, which was a far smoother drive then their old farm truck.
"It has wonderful potential." It needed a fair bit of work, house was going to be torn down, place rebuilt, land needed tending to, his mind was already racing with thoughts of what he wanted to do, but he had little clue on what he wanted inside the house, just a vague idea on its size, and lots of rooms. He got so excited with all the things he wanted, he became a little paranoid he might run out of money, he decided this year he was going to get a decent paying job, aside from teaching, he only had a few classes, he needed something more.

Cat peered out of the window, her eyes looking up at the large dilapidated building, she wondered why Riley's dad would bring them somewhere like this, the place looked as if it hadn't been lived in for years. A small brown bird was sitting on the guttering of the house, reagarding them from it's bright black eyes, she heard it make a chirping noise before it fluttered off. Her eyes turned away from the house to look over at Riley's dad. She scrambled out of the car after the others but didn't go far from it, feeling a little intimidated by the huge lonley house. She was just glad they hadn't come here at night since it looked like it might be haunted.

"..You're giving us land?" Catherine stared around her, the land look in total dissaray, weeds everywhere, even growing in the dirty grey porch. If it had been given to her, Cat would have been more inclined to sell the land and move somewhere where there were more people. The actual fields didn't look too bad, it was winter so keeping the grass and weeds in them under control wasn't too hard. She watched as Riley hugged his dad, her eyes slipping away after a moment though, as if she was afraid of being caught being watching them.
"Alright kids, ought to head back, still got lots of work to do," Cat hadn't really been listening to what he was saying, she was looking over at the where the remains of the barn stood. She wondered if Riley would want to come and live here, and if he did if he'd want her to come. She'd just noticed that there didn't seem to be anywhere Guinevere could live. She threw the barn one last look before she followed the others back into the car, pulling the seatbelt into place.
"It has wonderful potential." Riley seemed really excited, his eyes flicking over towards her as his dad pulled the car out of the driveway. She looked out over towards the lonley house as they drove away from it, she shuddered slighly, the place gave her the creeps.
'You gonna live there?' Her question was directed over towards Riley who was looking down at his knees now rather than over at her. There was a sudden fear that he might leave Xavier's and move up here. She'd never be able to afford to come up here and see him, so she'd only ever see him when he came down to Xavier's.

With her question hanging on the air while he thought, realizing now that there'd be little eason to have a really nice house out here.. He wanted to impress Catherine so much, but what was the point if she wasn't in the one place she dreamed of living in? Riley smiled at her, a small charming smile, he was sure his parents wanted him to live there, that's why his father had been so excited, they awnted him close by so they could see him more often, and now he was about to have a child, and soon Catherine and him they figured would be married, they'd love to have all of them closer so they could get to know each of them better.
"I promised Xavier I'd take some special classes for the new year, and in between those classes I'd like to be doing something to earn a bit more money, besides," Riley's hand reached out and took hold of Catherine's, gently pulling it towards his face as he leaned towards her, letting his lips press lightly against her hand, "..my home's with you." There was a bright grin from him while he sat up straight again, reluctantly letting his fingers slip from their hold of Catherine's hand.
When they got home, Ben was yelling at Steffie in the porch, and she didn't look too pleased with him raising his voice at her in such a way. He was upset because he wanted to leave early and she wanted to stay a little longer, Martha was hovering back beside the truck with a large bag of groceries in her arms watching them and looking relieved that Jonathon and the others where back. Riley undid his seat belt but Jonathon asked both of them to stay in the car since Ben might only get more upset if they came out.
While Jonathon went to handle Ben's temper, Riley slid over towards Catherine, grinning rather mischiefly, the keen look in his eyes clearly stating what was on his mind even more he said anything.
"I thinking, maybe we'll tare that old place down, put up a new house, we don't have to live there if you don't want to.. whenever we come down here we could stay up there though, it's not too far.." Riley reasoned, but leaned even closer to her while he finished speaking, "..and we'd get the nights to ourselves." His hand was on her knee while he spoke, they where home now, all they had to do was wait for Ben to shut up and then Riley could take Catherine somewhere and he could be with her, finally, it seemed like something kept getting in his way of making love to her. When his father moved back to the car though, Riley pulled his hand off her knee though he hadn't had time to shuffle back before Jonathon opened Catherine's door.
"Alright Catherine, hop on out, the boys and I are heading into town," Jonathon gave a motion of his arm for Ben to hurry and get into the drivers passanger seat, Riley glared a little, he didn't want Ben in his car, but then he stared at his dad as he realized his father had said 'the boys and I'.
"I don't want to go into town," He sulked rather indignantly at the thought of being not only torn from Catherine when he had only one thing on his mind right now, he also had to be confined for a three hour trip with Ben.
"I need to pick up some things and I could use your help," Jonathon replied with a warm voice, closing the door once Catherine hopped out, but Riley agitatedly turned his head away from the window and looked irritated and upset. It was quite obvious he was not going to be a very pleasant traveling companion.
