A chill has set in as all of the leaves in the trees finally turn all of the way. Halloween is just around the corner and you can feel it in the air. Is that Death hanging over the students' shoulders, or was it just a shadow? (Don't forget to check the Announcements, both General and Plots.)
F.A.Q.
No question so far.
Amazing Dolan: And I hope to keep it that way.
Amazing Zeta: I have a question.

Question: What the heck is "Hogwarts Time" and how is it different from "Real Time"?
Grax: You mean besides the fact that it's magic?
Answer:
"Hogwarts Time" is the time in the board and "Real Time" is the time in real life. One week in "Real Time" is equal to one day in "Hogwarts Time."
What this means is that the day Hogwarts doesn't change everyday. (Friday "Hogwarts Time" is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in "Real Time".)
This is done because we know people have busy lives and it can be hard to find the time to post everyday. And this way, people have a change to post and not miss time at Hogwarts if they can't post everyday in "Real Time".
It also means that your character can be in two places at once, just don't talk about things that happen at lunch at the breakfast table.
The Hogwarts day ends on Thursday at 11:59 EST (since most people on the board live in EST) and a new day will begin on Friday at 12:01 am. All topics from the day before will be closed down, if you are not down with something you really want to finish just send me a message and I'll leave the topic open. Just make sure you know the name, and where is it.
Dolan: I know, I know this is kind of a odd idea to get. If you don't get it just e-mail and I'll try to explain it better.
Also, to help people with keeping tract of what time things happen, it is suggested to put the time something happens in the subject line.
Example: "Meeting with Harry (After Lunch)" or "What's a few dollars between friends? (1AM)" Edited by: Amazing Dolan at: 5/10/07 1:00 pm
How do we get House points?Question: How do we get house points?
Zeta: Don't act like Rogue.
Rogue: HEY! I have NEVER once lost any points for my....wait, no, yeah, your right, never act like me.
Answer:That is a easy one, teacher and school staff can give you house points.
Once the points are given during game play the teacher/staff who gave them out just needs to send Dolan a ezBoard message telling Dolan how many points and to what house. Dolan will then add then to your house.

Is there a minimum/maxmun number of sentences for my post? Question:Is there a minimum/maximum number of sentences for my post?
Zeta: TEN MILLION BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Dolan: You can't even count that high.
Zeta: If I take off my shoes I can.
Answer:No.
This is a board to have fun on and not all people thinks it's fun to write very long, or very short post.
All we ask is that you TRY to write a minimum of 6.
We all have times that the idea just don't come so you won't be in any trouble if you don't. We also know that some people just don't want to write that much, and that is okay too.
If short post really bother you then don't read them, or don't post with that person. It's just that easy.
Can I get more characters?Question:Can I get more characters?
Grax: Can Pixie walk on her hands?
Pixie: No.
Grax: Oh!
Answer: Yes, you get more characters just like you got the first ones. You can have as many as you like just as long you don't forget about the ones you started with.
If we think you have to many, of if we think you aren't playing them all we will cut you off.

How come it says I need password?Question: How come it says I need a password to get onto part of the board?
Rogue: Because we hate you!
Dolan: You are being mean today.
Rogue: I'm in a mood.
Answer: We keep the board password protected to keep out SPAMers. We don't want this board full of people just posting crap about ring tones or dog food.
The only places that aren't password protected are the "O.O.C." the "Welcome!" and the "Characters" parts of the board.
It is real easy however to get a password. All you need to do is join the board.
Why won't my password work ever place?Question: Why won't my password work ever place?
Dolan: You wrote it in Chinese?
Pixie: But I don't even know Chinese!
Answer:Because some places are off limits.
The "The Shrieking Shack" is for Administrators only. The password for "Statue of Humpbacked Witch (Secret Passageway)" has been given out only to plays who know about or have the Marauders Map.
