A chill has set in as all of the leaves in the trees finally turn all of the way. Halloween is just around the corner and you can feel it in the air. Is that Death hanging over the students' shoulders, or was it just a shadow? (Don't forget to check the Announcements, both General and Plots.)
How to Play
This board is pretty much like any other Role Playing Game. You post the action of you character, there thoughts and anything else you may feel is important to mention.
You can not God Mode in this game. God Mode is when you post the action of anything players character.
Example: Mary Sue ran into the room and ran up to Harry Potter. Harry, being madly in love with Mary Sue, threw his arm around her and kissed her deeply.
If you are playing Mary Sue AND Harry, this would be fine (if not a bit gross) but if some one else plays Harry, then you are in God Mode and are breaking the rules.
Also this story take place during Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts, but has nothing to with the book. The Amazings have wrote there own story for the kids of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Zeta: That's Dolan talk for "Sirius isn't dead!"

And the last thing anyone needs to know about play on this board is one week in "Real Time" is equal to on day in "Hogwarts Time."
What this means is that the day Hogwarts doesn't change everyday. This gives people a change to post and not miss time at the school.
It also means that your character can be in two places at once, just don't talk about things that happen at lunch at the breakfast table.
The Hogwarts day ends on Thursday at 11:59 EST (since most people on the board live in EST) and A new day will begin on Friday at 12:01 am. All topics from the day before will be closed down, if you are not down with something you really want to finish just send me a message and I'll leave the topic open. Just make sure you know the name, and where is it.
Dolan: I know, I know this is kind of a odd idea to get. If you don't get it just e-mail and I'll try to explain it better.
Also, to help people with keeping tract of what time things happen, it is suggested to put the time something happens in the subject line.
Example: "Meeting with Harry (After Lunch)" or "What's a few dollars between friends? (1AM)"
The last thing is to make sure you check the Announcements and Weather and the start of each new "Hogwarts Day." The will be a Announcements update from one of the Amazings and there will be new weather for each day.
