I don't think Amber's an idiot, I just question the standard of education that she's received. Furthermore, she was working as an admin assitant prior to appearing on Survivor. Perhaps it was only temporary, but from experience, the only admin. assistants who who'd trust to even send out a letter are few and far between. A position that does not even require a community college diploma isn't going to be held in high regard. And just some of the things she said during the show. When speaking of the alliance, Amber said her tribe didn't want to go in with a 4:7 disadvantage. C'mon Amber, what's up with that? She didn't even check her mistake! I don't think she's an idiot - she's decent and ethical, and that requires consistency of character, and thus self-awareness, and so she isn't some blind fool, but if I had to find faults, I'd be inclined to say that she's a little unimaginative and uncreative, and tends to say some straight out dumb things at times.
It was the editing!! Perhaps, but aren't we all edited in our day-to-day communications, and isn't the point more that we should be aware how we are being edited and to compensate for that? Amber projected an image of herself when she was on Survivor, and although it may have been tampered with by Burnett, the question begs answering 'why did they choose to edit her in such a way'? Why did they make her the mild one? The answer, simply, is because that was how she was perceived to be by Burnett. Would it benefit him to fit a square peg in a round hole? Of course not, and even though he may have wanted a timid contestant regardless, the fact remains that of the 16, he choose her to be the mild one, because that's how she appeared to him to be. He merely enhanced her portrayal. Besides which, as Amber has seemed to forgotten, there is no concrete and set interpretation available of anything - some people might find her timid, others outgoing; it really just depends on the editing of the particular person who percieves her. When I read a Jackolf post, I see a sad idiot; others might see humour. Amber seems to have forgotten that communication is a two-way process. Moreover, just ask yourselves if you think Jerri or Colby could have been edited in the way that Amber claims she was recipient of. I hardly think so, and even if they had been, it would have come out. I don't know about you, but it seems to me that only Amber is complaining about the editing...

Oh, and Kerrin, go away. Stop chucking a mention of an attorney into every post you make about duplicity. If you do have access to IP's, you'll know full well that I'm a singular identity. To say otherwise, and thereby lie, would be a duplicit act in and of itself, something that a righteous crusader like yourself would want to avoid, right? There's no deadlier sin than hypocrisy, Kerrin.
