Spark
Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Kardiac. He liked to draw, and he had never heard of Bruce Timm. He wasn't trapped in someone else's style, but was instead developing his own.
Well, I have been getting really bored with the Timm style lately, so I decided to draw something, scan it, and color it... and it doesn't entirely suck (though it's no where near as good as I'd like it to be).
Here it is, from the pages of Legion, my second-favorite Legionnaire: Spark
[her head is based roughly on an old drawing taken from the now-defunct Basement Studios web comic... I hate doing faces; the painted BG is still from the Cartoon Network JL site]
this looks fantastic, Kard. personally, i'd rather see more of these than the Bruce Timm pics. it's far more interesting. the color job is excellent as usual, but all in all... that's a great picture...
Re: Spark
sweet, i love the legion, and you picked a good character, allthough i would have prefered kinetix, she was always one of my fav. leggionares. but sparx is good, or for the old school lightning lass.

Re: Spark
And now, here's a X-post for y'all:
Here's the full size version of the Sand avatar I did for the JSA RPG.
Sand
It started out as one of Kryptcom's "action" templates and evolved on from there. I chose my favorite parts of his various costumes and amalgamed them into what, if I do say so myself, turned out to be a very cool character design.
I suppose the detail could be better, but then, I knew it was going to be crushed into a 200 pixel space, so I wanted to keep it simple.
Poison Carley
Okay, since she asked so nicely... and so many times, I've drawn Poison Carley. Since she didn't specify a style, I chose one of my personal favorite animated styles.
Re: Poison Carley
Awesome stuff as always Kard! And Powerpuff Carley looks awesome. Actually, a while back I also did one, nowhere near as brilliant as yours, but here it is..
Maybe we could start a gallery or charity-book out of this.
