I sent a message to you regarding this as well. Like an idiopt, I tried to post the link on another board, but I posted MY link to MY account. What can I do to make sure no-one messes with it and "pretends" to be me or gets access at all? Sorry for the mix-up and thanks in advance for any help!
Ermm... presumably unless your login details were included in the link, they couldn't access your account. Anyway, if you posted to another board of this type, you can edit your posts after posting them. Even if it was a mailing list, I doubt there will be scores of people wanting to mess up your account. Just repost the correct link.
Sorry, I'm no expert on these matters (that's why I set up an EZ board, they're not called that for nothing).

LOL! True, It is EZ! Some others and I started a Creatures one a couple years ago and it was indeed EZ.
Thanks- I think they could only see my posts or post AS me when I am logged in and I think you're right, not much to worry about, but if alot of weird messages start to appear, I'll close this account and open a new one to be safe.

Another thing, when you create one of these boards, you get a one month free trial of their so-called 'Gold' service. So in about twenty days when it runs out, pop-ups and ads will suddenly appear everywhere, and half the features will probably stop working.

What if we all chip a couple bucks to the community fund? It happened really fast w/ the Creatures/Siouxsie EX Board. Maybe post a message about it and people will be willing to each chip in. I'm willing.

None of these gimmicks are actually worth the money: a few popup ads are not sufficient blackmail to make me pay for what is essentially a free resource.
