injectors and intercoolers
Hey,
I own an 86 vl turbo calais. Its pretty stock bar cold air, filter and 2.5" exhaust. I recently got my injectors cleaned and was told that my injectors are standard and not the turbo injectors. I have a feeling they may have been swapped out when my car was serviced.
I priced the injectors in Sydney and were around $150 each for reconditioned ($600 ea for new!!!!!). Are there any alternative injectors or maybe bigger injectors I can look at rather than the nissan/holden turbo standard. Also have you guys any idea of a good place to start looking for them. My other question regards intercooling. Im keen to chill the car but am unsure of what size intercooler Im looking for. Also - Where the hell is it going to fit. Have checked out a few sites for an example but hav'nt found one for the vl yet. Am I better off getting a custom built intercooler?? I hope you guys can be of some help.
as for your intercooler i may have an intercooler that will fit. and well its fu$%^in awesome and bloody huge. it will stick out a heap from the front of your car. but its damn nice custom one.
these guys do all kinds of injectors from 40hp-300hp each injector. mate got them brand new and they werent very expensive.
