new subjects
Can the different "departments" or topics have a "New Subject" icon by them ONLY if there is a new subject. Some like the First Councelor's does even have a post and it has a New Subject icon by it. I would make it alot easier and quicker to use if we actually knew where new posts were.

MD,

If you look at the top of the page under the illustration "Tau Forums" you will see a link that says "Mark ALL forums read". Click on this link and all the New Subject icons will disappear. Then those icons will reappear only if something new is posted. You need to do this once in a while.
